We stayed over a few nights for a golf tour. What fantastic hosts. Bonnita really went beyond our expectations and all the staff were really accommodating. Rooms were well equipped and the lodge was so inviting. I would highly recommend to anyone.

After check in at reception we went to our house and immediately we could see that the accommodation is not the same as shown on the website. The pic's were taken some years ago.

We had the most amazing stay at Blackwaters River Lodge. Our garden cottage was perfect for our stay and it felt like home away from home. All the staff are super friendly, very professional and they were so accommodating to us. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt spoilt from when we arrived until we had to leave. The restaurant on site is fabulous and we had the most delicious meals. THANK YOU for welcoming us as guests and made us feel like family by the time we sadly hat to check out. We will definitely be back!

Incredible weekend with our toddler in tow. The staff were so accommodating. We loved the lounge area and reading by the fire. We even squeezed in a paddle up the river. Such an idyllic setting. We'll definitely be back!

Really beautiful hotel, perfectly situated with amazing staff. The rooms are nice and spacious, equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing breakaway. You can enjoy their delicious picnic basket with the most spectacular views! We would definitely want to stay here again when in Knysna.

Wow what an awesome experience. Friendly staff and great attention to detail in the room with little notes explaining SA culture! Add to that birdlife to die for! It was so much fun watching the Knysna Loeries play in the trees while sipping on some OBS!! As an added bonus a massage in the comfort of my own room! Loved every minute of my stay!

We were privileged to spend two evenings at this magical piece of heaven tucked away in the most tranquil surroundings! The spacious rooms are neat and tidy with the comfiest bed and pillows. All the quirky attention to detail things certainly set this place head and shoulders above the Best! We were fortunate that our stay coincided with the opening of their new restaurant and were pleasantly surprised with the delicious menu and even enjoyed some live entertainment set out on the lawns. What a treat! Thank you to Elmay, Nikita and Staff for making our stay enjoyable and memorable!

The location is lovely tucked away from The hussle and bussle of the town.Beautiful views. Close to Sedgefield and Knysna. Lovely experience. Eco friendly. Just need to arrange better WiFi reception in load-shedding. I do know they are arranging to be off the grid so goodluck and that will be a win win for guest and owners. The restaurant was good, just have more selection of fruit for breakfast and dinner options. Otherwise staff are super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
