What a great hotel, full of history, with a not to be missed museum and ancient convent next door. The Parador is a renovation of the sixteenth-century Monastery-Hospital of San Marcos for pilgrims walking the Camino Frances, and is one of the most important monuments of the Spanish Renaissance. Our room was in the renovated part overlooking the Plaza de San Marcos. It had a spectacular view, and was quiet, spacious, charming, and luxurious. The art in the common areas is impressive as are the exposed excavations of the ancient hospital and earlier dwellings. A great place to stay for a last night of comfort if you are planning on starting your Camino in Leon. It is located right on The Way with a monument to the pilgrim right out the front door.

I smell to smoke into the room!!!! I didn't offer any solution. I had to be 4 days of work and really not even if I wanted to put an ambient in the room for the hard smell of tobacco!! The Finn week told us the reception that the bar would not open, and put us as a solution at 8 p.m. when we went to the front hospital bar. The cleaning leaves much to desire and the gel of the bathroom and the gel of the hands put the same ( and boot half ....) Really bad experience! Without bad the rest of LEON is very nice .Thank you

El hotel fue decepcionante se mire por donde se mire. Fui solo una noche y menos mal... Nada más llegar antes de entrar te das cuenta que lo que habías visto en internet no es lo que era. La recepción y la entrada al hotel no es la de un 3 estrellas y mucho menos de la prestigiosa cadena Eurostars. Pero es que la sorpresa te la llevas cuando subes al pasillo de las habitaciones, ahí ya auguras que no puede ocurrir nada bueno. Al entrar a la habitación es como si te teletransportaras al siglo pasado, todo está anticuado, viejísimo, las paredes, los muebles, el baño, las puertas, los enchufes que parecen de la época de cuando mis bisabuelos eran jóvenes, por no hablar de la ducha, las baldosas del baño despegadas... Las fotos que aparecen su página web NO se corresponden con la realidad, no os dejéis engañar. Este hotel no se ha reformado lo más mínimo desde que se construyó a saber hace cuantos años. No es digno de ser un 3 estrellas pero mucho menos es digno de pertenecer a la cadena Eurostars, no entiendo cómo se permite algo así con la categoría que tiene este grupo de hoteles. He estado en hostales más modernos que este hotel. Lo peor de todo no es que el hotel no se haya reformado, lo peor es que te sientes engañada cuando llegas. Pagué 50€ por una noche con desayuno y aún así me pareció caro para lo que me encontré allí. El personal del hotel es amable pero evidentemente, si no lo fueran no tendrían clientes que acudirían allí porque el hotel no tendría nada positivo que destacar. Aparte de que de la amabilidad de los empleados no se vive, cuando se va a un hotel se quiere estar cómodo en tu habitación y yo no lo estuve para nada. El desayuno fue correcto, sin más, sin nada que destacar. En conjunto no me gustó nada y desde luego si vuelvo a León, no será a este hotel.

We have been sightseeing in the area and reserved this Melia with great expectations. I’m afraid Mr Escarrer would be a bit disappointed. On the plus side, the receptionists were really friendly and attentive, with the right helpful attitude. We could say the same about the staff in the cafeteria. The downside was the quality of the food in the cafeteria/bar/restaurant. Frozen chips in a Melia? The chicken fingers to pick at seemed to be a chicken escalope sliced and refried, making it dry and tasteless. Perhaps the menu ought to be relooked at because the premises are really nice. The room was fine although having to go to a vending machine in the lobby to get your minibar products kind of defeats the purpose of a minibar in the room. Breakfast was adequate although not what you expect from a hotel advertised as a Melia affiliate. All on all, a “pass” thanks to the staff.

The location of the hotel and its free parking is perfect. we got a room that was modern and with two very decently sized beds. the women at reception were welcoming, and when we had to move our reservation one day they were amazing, replied on the spot and made no fuzz or tried to charge fees for it. breakfast was normal, nothing to brag about, but good enough and included in the room rate. You are basically in a building full of history, take advantage of the discount you get to go to the museum next door. It is an amazing museum/guided tour, totally worth it.

Two friends and I went to book a spa day at Q!H hotel and spa, and oh my goodness, after previously having lived in spain for a few years, I can honestly say that is the most relaxing and ambient spa I've been in for such great value. Cristina the massage therapist was amazing and we absolutely loved everything about our Spa Circuit and massage! I've personally never experienced such an extensive spa circuit, with such a lovely atmosphere. It was the perfect end to our stay in Leon. Thank you Cristina!
