The best place to stay in Lisbon - as there are no cars - and the cobblestone streets are gorgeous to walk in. The apartments are spacious and the beds super comfy. Views are wonderful. Owners and staff so helpful!!

My husband and I spent a week at the Castle Inn Lisbon and cannot say enough good things about it. The hospitality of the staff, the accommodations, and the location added up to an incredible experience. Highly recommend! We can't wait to come back.

Excellent apt located behind the castle walls so staying here feels like you are in a historic village - yet only a walk or tram away from greater Lisbon. Super clean, great beds and pillows and windows that open and bring in the breeze (or AC is optional). Studio apt has a nice river view. 2 bedroom apt is spacious and terrific also. Taxis (not Uber) up to the castle walls or the tram or bus. Ines and Antonia both attentive to our needs and the food selection nearby is excellent. Recommend Ludo’s for breakfast and Claras…. Outside the castle wall for dinner. Staying at the inn makes for a unique and enchanting stay in Lisbon.

We had an amazing stay at Castle Inn. We had the Fado room and it couldn’t have been more perfectly maintained - super clean, everything in like new condition. It was very quiet, comfortable beds, great communication with the property contact. As it’s steps from the castle, it is at the top of a hill, but was still easy to get around to all the sites.

This property is beautifully presented and maintained right next to the castle in Lisbon. We met Ines and other staff members who could not have been more friendly or helpful. We would highly recommend this property.

Cozy, boutique style apartments / rooms located in the historic Alfama District of Lisbon. Check in was fairly easy — just keep in constant contact with the receptionist! It is located on a hill with VERY narrow streets, so some taxis / Ubers are hesitant to make the trip. If you have a lot of luggage, be prepared to carry them up a few flight of stairs. All in all, our one night stay was enjoyable. The room had all the basics and was super cozy with an amazing view of the city. Additionally, getting lost in the alleys of Alfama was such a great experience! There was so much to see and so many hidden local shops and gems! Don’t be afraid to venture out and walk around, just bring VERY comfortable shoes (and be prepared for hills haha).

Castle Inn Lisbon is in a great location. Of course it is by the castle so not right in the center of everything, however it is very walkable. Can easily get a Uber from outside the gate of the castle (less then 2 min walk from apartment). Taxis can come right to the front of the apartment so we did that the day we got there and left since we had luggage. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. The breakfast place about a 4 min walk is great. From there we walked all over Lisbon. The owners are great. Messaged to ask if we needed anything, gave us advice on restaurants, and always responded to messages we sent them right away.
