This is the second time I am using this hotel. They have arranged a room at level36. Nice level and great view. Room is clean with fresh sheets. The issues are the rain shower was leaking spraying upwards. The air-conditioning is having a malfunction. It's either too warm or too cold. It's like 8degrees at night and it's really cold in the room or hot like sauna. Well stayed there for 2nights. There are Christmas decorations for the season. It make the hotel lobby livelier. Morning breakfast is decent. Its served with American breakfast and local Chinese cuisine. There are two major shopping malls beside it and one opposite. Great malls to hang out for Starbucks or McDonald's. There are many chinese restaurants available serving delicious food. Western food and Japanese cuisine are available too.

If you want to explore the tulou in a more relaxed way, I would recommend booking at least one night in the area. We went for the boutique experience at Du Lv hotel, a beautifully remodeled tulou near Yongding. We were 100% satisfied with the gorgeous and refined accommodation and the wonderful hospitality. With only 6 rooms available, the hotel never feels crowded or noisy so we were able to have a good rest. There is also a lot of common areas within the facilities where you can sit to read or enjoy a cup of tea. Our loft room was comfortable with all the necessary amenities. A very Instagram worthy Chinese breakfast is included in the price of the room and served at another location (remodeled by the same owner) nearby. A special thank you to Kayla who speaks good English and helped us organize transportation from/ to Xiamen and the tulou clusters in the area. We had our evening meals at the only restaurant in the village and the food was fresh, the service was friendly and the price was reasonable. The tulou that you can visit in the village feel very authentic and most of them are still inhabited so you can really understand how people live. During our stay, we visited those tulou and Chuxi cluster that I would recommend because it is more picturesque and not as touristy as Tianluokeng.

This hotel is located in a very friendly, small village. We stayed three nights and freely walked the village and the Tulous often being stopped by curious villagers to ask us where we are from. It’s clear foreigners are few and far between in this village but everyone was very welcoming. We have no complaints about the cleanliness, location or breakfast. The rooms and hotel itself are beautiful. If you are a light sleeper (like my friend) the babies crying in the next room or the child and father laughing and chatting in the other room till gone midnight might bother you. If you’re a deep sleeper like me, you’ll be fine! The hotel staff didn’t really offer much information to us initially. You’re kind of left to it. But when I added them to wechat they did answer questions we had and they cleaned the room when asked. For future reference here’s some information for foreigners who make make the journey. We found two good restaurants in the village and there are small shops with basic necessities. You can arrange a car to take you to different Tulous driving distance away or you could just walk through the village and into neighbouring villages exploring the more authentic Tulous. To be honest, the “tourist” Tulous weren’t of much interest and didn’t take a single photo. The more authentic, natural, “left to their own devices” ones were much more appealing to us. You can’t get the typical shot from a hilltop of a small group of round Tulous here in this village but you can get so much more of an authentic small, relaxing, quiet village experience at your own pace. We had a driver from Xiamen airport - 3.5 hours there because he didn’t take the highway but the provincial road. On the way back to the airport we came via the highway and it was 2 hours. It’s quite far away but we think it’s very worth it if you go prepared. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. We booked this hotel, therefore the location based on the look of comfort and the fact we wanted traditional, with modern amenities so we could relax as well as explore. It ticked all those boxes.

This is the second time staying at this hotel~ it is probably a must stay hotel every time you come to Longyan. Not only the geographical environment is superior and the transportation is convenient, the various facilities of the hotel are also in place, giving people the feeling of going home. ~The price is very good~

Zundu is also very convenient for washing clothes and other things. The cleaning aunt is also very good. Before coming in to clean up, she will check at the door repeatedly to see if there is anyone inside and whether it will disturb the customers. He kept bothering me even after staying here for two days. He asked some questions and was very considerate. He responded to messages instantly. What an experience it is to live in a tulou! A friend recommended an inn in an earth building. It was the official residence of the fourth rank official built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It was designed by the prefect of Tingzhou at the time. It has a courtyard structure and claims to be the most magnificent building in the earth building [laughing]. The boss Awen was very enthusiastic. He made tea for us, talked about the history of his family, and introduced how to play the Tulou. I am especially grateful to him for recommending the Chuxi Tulou. I feel that Chuxi will no longer look at the building after returning [laughing][laughing] For breakfast, they even brought out nutella and hazelnut butter for us to dip our bread into, which was such a surprise! He is worthy of being a boss doing business with foreigners [Qiang][Qiang][Qiang]

The hardware of the hotel is relatively new, but the software facilities are in urgent need of improvement 1. There is only one gargle cup in the bathroom. After calling the front desk, the supervisor of the station inspected the scene, and then a man in casual clothes with a mobile phone playing mahjong came and arranged for the aunt to come over to renovate the bathroom. The aunt said that there was a problem with the cleaning cup last time. Went for a replacement but forgot to get a new one 2. There is only a little bit of toilet roll left, and there is no spare to replace in the whole bathroom 3. The toilet is not clean and has urine stains 4. There is an unknown insect corpse at the junction of the room and the corridor 5. To cast the mobile phone screen to the TCL TV in the room, you need to press the remote control of the TV to confirm, but you didn't see it until you checked out.

From Chaoshan to Longyan, I was going to see the Tulou. I chose this hotel on Trip.com. In my daughter's words, a big surprise! We had a lot of adults and children. We originally booked a twin room but couldn't fight. We went to the front desk to adjust the king-size bed room. The beautiful young lady at the front desk saw that we took the baby and upgraded the parent-child theme room directly. The children went into the room and were so pleasantly surprised! The room is very large, the bed is 2.7 meters, the bedding tent is too small to shake the child's heart, and the front desk lady is more heart. Hygienic: very clean! Everywhere is in place Comfort: The mattress pillow quilt is very comfortable. This is the best night to sleep for ten days. I don't worry about sound insulation at all, and the noise outside the floor is not heard. Laundry room: seven or eight washing machines, basically have drying functions, and two separate dryers, the children's dirty clothes are washed at once, and it is too liberating for parents to go out. Breakfast: many types, fresh ingredients, good taste, especially homemade peanut pulp, delicious Parking: Just in Wanda Shopping Mall, it is very convenient to eat dinner and go shopping, directly stop at Wanda Hotel area, the elevator is convenient and free In short, I was really lucky to stay at Fenghua Hotel in Fujian for the first time. I found a treasure. During the Spring Festival, the price of more than 600 parent-child rooms includes breakfast. The price of the four or five stars I have lived in before is seconds. The key service is superb! !

The hotel is on the first floor of Wanbao Plaza. It is very convenient for us to travel on business. There are restaurants and coffee shops around, and it is also very convenient for meeting guests. There is also a Yonghui Supermarket on the first floor of Wanbao. It is very fast to take a taxi, and you can get on the bus directly at the door. After all, it only takes about ten minutes to take a taxi to Longyan Station. When I checked in, I heard the introduction from the front desk. The hotel's buffet breakfast is very good. I didn't buy breakfast included when I placed the order. I bought a breakfast at the front desk for 28 yuan per person. It is really rich and fresh. The taste is good for me who often travels on business. For humans, it is very comfortable to eat. The room we stayed in was very clean, with complete hardware facilities. Overall, we recommend staying here! Check out was fast! The next time I have a business trip to Longyan, I will still stay here.
