I really liked it so much that I didn’t want to leave once I checked in🤣I initially booked two nights, and immediately decided to extend the stay for two more nights after I checked in. From the architecture to the room design and the bread basket for breakfast, they are all full of French style. Even the keys are unique. It is still SLH and the room is large. The price is really great value! The waiters at the front desk and in the restaurant are all very nice and always say hello with a smile every time they pass by. There is a frangipani tree in front of our room, and you can pick up two of them and wear them on your head every day when you go out. The hotel has a small swimming pool and bar. It is two kilometers away from the city. There is a shuttle bus to the night market at night. If you call a taxi during the day, it will cost less than 50,000 kip. The hotel front desk can also help call a tuk tuk. The lady at the front desk also helped us solve the problem that the SIM card we bought could not make calls. Thank you very much. Hope to have another chance to go again in the future🌞

Without a doubt, the professional and charming staff helped a lot with the attention provided, and a service always above expectations. The facilities are impressive, nothing more beautiful than the central patio with the small pond and the garden, as well as the large common pool area, a 10! The breakfast has a high quality, a lot of variety on offer and they are always willing to prepare a more filling dish for you. The toast with avocado and poached egg is recommended, a great way to start the day. We found the room we were assigned to be one of the best in the hotel, with several separate spaces and a private pool. To stay here many more days. They should improve the Wi-Fi connection in that area of ​​the hotel, given that we were barely able to connect in the room during the days we stayed. Having to work at some point, this represented a problem, which I quickly forgot with a dip in the pool. Thank you to all the staff for your extraordinary work.

The hotel was clean, employees were very helpful and kind. They had refreshments already in our rooms which was very convenient and the best part was they can check in our bags, weight, and get the luggage tag being they had connections we Lao Airlines. That was definitely a plus. We didn’t have to rush to try to get in our bag at all and they take you back to the airport and make sure we knew where we needed to go. I would definitely try this hotel to anyone.

I really loved this place, felt very family run and personal, nothing was too much trouble. It is a little out of the centre but the free shuttle is perfect and tuk tuks easy to get if the times don’t suit. All the staff were super friendly especially Pinky on reception who was always there to greet you. I notice there are lots if comments about breakfast but having been travelling around south east Asia this was by far the best breakfast I’ve had and well worth the money. It’s cooked fresh for you so piping hot too! I would definitely recommend this place, it’s a little gem!

Sada Hotel was beautiful! The staff was welcoming and very happy to see us although their Engish was limited. They walked us into a courtyard past the coy pond and up a flight of stairs to our suite. Our entrance overlooked the big swimming pool. We opened the door to an expansive room with beautiful old furniture, a gorgeous wooden floor, and a full wall of floor to ceiling windows. One window was actually a door to the balcony which overlooked the courtyard and coy pond and ran the length of our room. It had two chairs and a table. In the room was a large bed that was very comfortable. There was a good deal of storage in the furniture. The furniture included a desk and chair and a table set for dinner with two chairs. There were also two casual chairs and a coffee table where we watched TV until we realized there was little in English. The staff put fruit on the coffee table daily. In the armoire were two robes. The bathroom included a shower, a soaking tub and a sink. Breakfast was included and was served in a beautiful dining rom on the first floor. The pool was warm and clean and empty of guests when we were there. About a mile away is a night market which includes a large eating space with numerous food vendors and many food choices. It is walkable if you can walk about a mile in the heat, but tuk-tuks are easily found and very inexpensive. Have Lao money in small amounts to pay. A tuk-tuk to the night market was about $3.00 or as much as $5.00 when they picked us up in the pouring rain. Sada was peaceful and relaxing and the price was very reasonable.

Angthong hotel was pre-booked as part of an organised tour, it’s a good boutique style hotel consisting of 20 rooms. I’m unable to comment on the full amenities it offered and surrounding area as we were out on trips for majority of the day. However, the hotel served us well and met our expectations. Our afternoon arrival into Luang Prabang was a welcome relief, after a 17 hour flight from the UK. Our local guide Chan, greeted us and arranged for our mountain of luggage to be loaded onto the back of a rickety lorry which led the way to our hotel. We set off in the comfort of our mini bus in the sweltering heat as it chugged along dusty roads. We admired the scenery catching glimpses of locals going about their business. Palm trees, tropical flora and fauna lined the streets as we bobbed along pot holed roads, tired but excited and ready to embrace the adventures that lay ahead. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from the airport a convenient location for frequent travellers. Angthong’s main exterior is typical Lao-Thai style structure. Downside is the location away from the main town centre. The entrance has a set of steps leading to the main lobby, good outside space for vehicles, ambience is charming and relaxed giving a good first impression. Reception not massively huge, interior warm and inviting, neat display of tour information/leaflets and a few computer terminals for guest use. Front desk staff hospitable and ready to serve. An empty reception area very quickly became overwhelmed with a sea of boisterous bodies and luggage sprawled on top of each other. Staff had the arduous task of getting us checked-in, a slight delay, (no fault of the hotel) just that we had arrived ahead of time. Rooms allocated and it was nice to settle in and relax. Ours was a good size room on the ground floor and on the quieter side, nice tropical plants and flowers as you stepped out, the front side of the room had an adjourning balcony overlooking the pool and pleasant seating area. Limited cupboard space enough for one! Could be a problem for 2 people sharing, and if your stay is longer you may need to comprise for storage. Wasn’t an issue for us as we were living out a suitcase and our stay was brief. Beds were comfortable with fresh clean linen and we managed to get a good nights sleep, regardless of the noise from the crickets outside. In the centre of the room was a pillar odd layout, but I figured it was a slot for the tv, (not something that I’d come to watch, but it was there). The bathroom was slightly small but everything worked well, i.e. hairdryer, hot water, lights, rooms cleaned and toiletries replenished daily. The pool wasn’t huge could be a problem if there were many guests wanting to use it. Seating area comfortable with sun loungers. Nice landscape garden well kept and bar on the far end of the pool. Quiet location outside of the main city, around 1.5 kilometres from the main town. The hotel doesn't show up on Google maps but it is where trip.com location shows. Staff don't speak much English apart from the nice lady who works in the morning she also makes breakfast, stayed 3 nights but had to book through hotel as with trip.com can only book 1 night. Would stay again. Thank you

We have just spent 4 fantastic nights at Liberty Place. The owners are so so lovely and friendly, they can’t do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and spacious. We had our breakfast on the balcony outside which was nicely set out and decorated. The location is great right in the centre of Luang Prabang, near to the night markets and not far from the Mekong River. We did not use the bicycles however they are free to use and we used their laundry service which was done very quickly. They helped us with a situation one of our friends were in and helped book a tuk tuk when they were lost near the waterfalls without any transport. They went above and beyond to help get our friends back to their hostel when they had no way of getting back! We booked our train tickets to Vang Vieng through the guesthouse. Great price and extremely helpful. There were also other tickets, tours and trips that could also be booked as well. We would highly recommend Liberty Place for anyone travelling to Luang Prabang and we would certainly stay again.
