B&B Villa Anna

B&B is quite adequate and close to Lucca city. Large Italian villa with rooms off a long corridor. Room lacks sofa or somewhere to relax unless you lie on the bed. Found it a bit soulless, no welcome or buzz. High ceilings and tiled floors in room and nice shower. Breakfast fine. Great to have a fridge in the room and you could make a cup of tea in the corridor. All in all does the job. You have to pay for parking here.

Our 2nd stay with Max at Villa Anna did not disappoint. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast choices were plentiful. Location is walking distance to entrance of the old city. Parking is available (outside of ZTL) if you reserve ahead of time. We will definitely come back next time we visit.

We had the best experience at Villa Anna! It is just next to the city wall so it only took 2 minutes to be inside the old city. The Villa is super clean, beautiful air conditioned room with private bath, and a delicious breakfast every morning with so many choices. Max is the owner and he is the nicest host, makes great cappuccino, and is there to help with anything. I will certainly be back to Lucca and will always stay here! Grazie mille!

I recently stayed at Villa Anna with 3 friends for a 4 night break. The Villa itself is just outside the city walls. A pleasant 5 minute walk takes you to the nearest entrance - Porta Elisa. Max the owner was very helpful when emailing beforehand with questions and even picked us up from the airport. We stayed in Suite Guilia which had 2 interconnecting rooms and a lovely big bathroom . Breakfast had plenty choice including cold cuts, cereals, breads and pastries, along with a choice of freshly made coffees and teas. The Villa looks like it has recently been decorated and although it’s facilities are all modern they have not lost the lovely traditional look of it. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here. Great value and ideally situated for both sightseeing in Lucca or for going further afield to Pisa or Florence - the train station is about 10 mins walk away . Whow!!! Amazing. Better than “a hotel”

Really great B&B just outside the walls of Lucca. Easy parking at the property or just across the road. Friendly owner, clean and nicely presented rooms. Extensive breakfast choices. It was only a stopover on the way, but would likely stay here for a few days if visiting again. Thank you!

Posizione comodissima a 2 passi da porta Elisa con supermercati e servizi molto comodi. Struttura curata, accogliente e pulita. Buona colazione ed alla reception il Sig. Massimo molto cordiale e disponibile ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora migliore con consigli su dove mangiare e non solo. Bravi ci ritorneremo.

Ci siamo fermati solo una notte ma siamo stati benissimo. Camere pulite e molto curate. Comodo al centro di Lucca. Ben gestita anche la colazione a buffet con molta scelta. Proprietario cordiale e molto disponibile. Soddisfatti. Lo consigliamo.

Posizione perfetta, a pochi passi dalle mura. Possibilità di parcheggiare la macchina all'interno, solo questo vale la spesa. Camera confortevole e pulita, bagno con finestra e doccia spaziosa. Colazione molto ricca. Proprietario molto cortese.
