Wonderful bouji hotel with wonderful staff, but a bit tired with a lot of repairs needed. Breakfast was incredible and poolside lunch great value. Room was tired but beds comfy and great view. Indoor pool and sauna advertised has been closed for two years! And the outdoor pool is unheated due to a faulty pool heater again no plan to fix , it is easy to see why Versace is terminating the contract and removing branding . The outdoor pool with sand beach is a nice touch for families with kids Top tip visit the peters fish bar next door for a fab fresh fish and chip dinner , Shopping centre beside is also nice,

Facilities: There is an outdoor swimming pool, bath towels, and a bar. There were 3 mosquitoes killed in the room on the first night. There was free unlimited drinking water and sparkling water. You had to bring your own bottle to the corridor to pick it up. The room was old, for example, the bathtub had a lot of bumps, and some water leaked in the public stairwell on the top floor on rainy days. Environment: There is a nice beach outside the yard, suitable for children, and it is guarded by lifeguards during the day. There is a small shopping mall across the street, directly accessible from the overpass. The hotel across the street does not have a beach. The parking lot is directly accessible by an elevator underground. The outer rooms facing the street are a bit noisy. There are many people who have self-organized breakfasts during weekends. Service: Since the elevator is far away, it is very convenient for the doorman to carry luggage to the room. The front desk service is quite good and the room service is relatively fast. The room lacks shampoo and it is delivered within 10 minutes.

I sit and write this during a current stay far from impressed and wishing we had booked elsewhere! Whilst close to Seaworld itself it is otherwise completely off the beaten track and you need a car or to spend $$ on public transport (or to be content just staying at the resort for the duration of the stay). Other than the restaurants in the resort there are no other restaurants within east walking distance. An Uber to Broadbeach/Pacific Fair was $25 one way. There is a free shuttle to Pacific Fair bit for one of the scheduled departures it did not arrive today. The rooms are clean but basic and extremely noisy. Yes this is a family resort but I still think the noise is well beyond any other family resort I have stayed in of similar value. The bathrooms are dated despite being described in the ‘luxury escapes’ ad as stylish with pastel hues (pastel yes…stylish and/or modern definite no). There appears to be very little noise proofing between rooms. The ‘corridors’ are frequently adorned with used towels or used room service trays that the ‘bin chickens’ are having a go at and spreading the contents. Overall I would not recommend it for a stay.

My wife and I have just had four nights at Xanadu. We were on the 16th floor of the East Tower and we could see all the way to Coolangatta and up the the Spit and beyond. The unit was very comfortable and very clean. One of the best for cleanliness I have seen in a long time. The position is perfect as you can walk everywhere - surf club, beach, yacht club, Tedder avenue, and further if you are so inclined. The light rail is also not far away should you want to use it. The building is well maintained and the gardens neat and tidy. Management have their eye on the ball and are doing a great job. Hard to beat this place. We will definitely come back. Cheers.

This place has an amazing ocean feint location, right next to the beach with ocean views from north to south and some views of the city and hinterland. We stayed in apartment 40 on level 15 and the views were amazing. Unfortunately the apartment facilities were very average. The wifi, despite resetting it countless times simply did not work. Frustrating for us as we had a baby monitor camera that we were trying to connect to it. The air con is old and incredibly noisy, with very basic controls and no ability to set the air to specific temperatures or to turn down the airflow. The showers were terrible and flushed cold water through the head at the same time as the hot. I’ve never experienced this before. It was just a constant flow of hot and cold at the same time. Couldn’t get Netflix to work on the TV’s and every channel the reception was blurry and pixelated. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable and the pillows were like so thin I could feel my head completely on the mattress despite there being a pillow between them. Disregarding these, the views and location were worth it and we genuinely had a lovely stay. Just a few things to fix up to make this place better

Our experience @ Oscar's on Main, in our 2 bedroom oceaview apartment, was Sublime! We just loved being able to hear & see the ocean from every room in our very comfortable apartment! The location was superb, with a 2 min walk to Mainbeach or Tedder Avenue, cafe/shopping *****! We were able to easily stock up on groceries from Australia Fair, 5 mins away. Also, we could easily walk to Macintosh Island with gorgeous bird life to enjoy or attend great family activities like the escape room in Surfers Paradise! We can't wait to return again this year! We have stayed off and on at The Crest for the last 6 months for sporting reasons . The room was always spotless and the friendly staff were amazing from the minute you got there until you left . They would go over and above for whatever we needed done . I have a daughter with brain damage who can be hard to handle at times but the staff were incredible to her and she loved being there . The position in Main beach was so handy to all shops and it has great facilities . I would recommend this resort to anyone and we will be back . Russell

Because of the self-driving, while walking, the hotel was booked the same evening. The choice is to have free parking first, followed by a kitchen. Here is a three-story apartment building. There are many rooms that are permanent residents. The rooms are quite large. The indoor scene is better than the pictures. Our family of four booked a one-bedroom, one-bedroom house with a double bed in the bedroom and a single bed and sofa bed in the living room. This room type can be seen at Ctrip. You can see two prices. The three-person occupancy and the two-person occupancy are probably more than 100 RMB. One of our children is three years old and seven years old. The three people booked AUD 124 yuan. After that, they stayed at the front desk for two days. They only paid AUD99 yuan a day. They should be charged at the same price as the two people in Ctrip. So, I feel that the price is quite high. Therefore, parents who have similar situations can book the price that is cheaper. The coin-operated laundry room is located on the first floor near the pool. The Australian uncle who is on duty at night also personally took me to introduce how to use the coin. During the day, I was a middle-aged man and a woman. They were locals. I didn't see the Chinese boss in the comments, but they were very enthusiastic and patient, especially the uncle who was worthy of the evening shift. People were very kind and especially liked him!

My wife and I have just had four nights at Xanadu. We were on the 16th floor of the East Tower and we could see all the way to Coolangatta and up the the Spit and beyond. The unit was very comfortable and very clean. One of the best for cleanliness I have seen in a long time. The position is perfect as you can walk everywhere - surf club, beach, yacht club, Tedder avenue, and further if you are so inclined. The light rail is also not far away should you want to use it. The building is well maintained and the gardens neat and tidy. Management have their eye on the ball and are doing a great job. Hard to beat this place. We will definitely come back. Cheers.

Our experience @ Oscar's on Main, in our 2 bedroom oceaview apartment, was Sublime! We just loved being able to hear & see the ocean from every room in our very comfortable apartment! The location was superb, with a 2 min walk to Mainbeach or Tedder Avenue, cafe/shopping *****! We were able to easily stock up on groceries from Australia Fair, 5 mins away. Also, we could easily walk to Macintosh Island with gorgeous bird life to enjoy or attend great family activities like the escape room in Surfers Paradise! We can't wait to return again this year! This place has an amazing ocean feint location, right next to the beach with ocean views from north to south and some views of the city and hinterland. We stayed in apartment 40 on level 15 and the views were amazing. Unfortunately the apartment facilities were very average. The wifi, despite resetting it countless times simply did not work. Frustrating for us as we had a baby monitor camera that we were trying to connect to it. The air con is old and incredibly noisy, with very basic controls and no ability to set the air to specific temperatures or to turn down the airflow. The showers were terrible and flushed cold water through the head at the same time as the hot. I’ve never experienced this before. It was just a constant flow of hot and cold at the same time. Couldn’t get Netflix to work on the TV’s and every channel the reception was blurry and pixelated. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable and the pillows were like so thin I could feel my head completely on the mattress despite there being a pillow between them. Disregarding these, the views and location were worth it and we genuinely had a lovely stay. Just a few things to fix up to make this place better
