Pros: The hotel itself is visually appealing and appears to be newly constructed. The front desk staff were courteous and welcoming. Cons: Our disappointment began when we entered our bathroom and the shower had hair and debris, requiring us to clean it thoroughly before use. It wasn't the best way to start our stay, but we probably would have given 4/5 stars if that was the only issue. The most concerning part of our stay occurred during our departure for an early morning flight. Despite asking the hotel for advice on departure time for our 5:45am flight, we were simply advised to leave at 3:30am without any mention of potential safety concerns. As we drove towards the airport, we were surrounded by 3 motorcyclists attempting to rob us for most of the drive. We almost crashed our car trying to get away from them. It was disheartening to learn later from other Nicaraguans that driving at night in Managua carries significant risks, a fact that was not communicated to us by the hotel staff. We would have appreciated a warning about the potential dangers of nighttime travel and would have adjusted our plans accordingly. This avoidable experience left my husband wondering if someone from the hotel was behind the incident. Having traveled to countries like Kenya, India, and Brazil, we've learned that heeding warnings about these areas are easy ways to stay safe. We hope that future guests don't have a similar experience.

I choose to stay once again at Double Tree by Hilton in Managua, based on the pleasant experiences I had before. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised of the excellent team they have assembled. In the restaurant, food menu is excellent, fresh food and very well prepared, fruits are plentiful and fresh fruit juices are a delight. on our first visit to the restaurant, I was totally surprised by Lourdes, our waitress from previous occasions, she came by and said hello, long time no see you, how have you been? As usual she was very friendly and polite, very attentive to our needs. Restaurant staff is now complemented with a very gracious and friendly hostess; Arllery. There is also Laleska a rising start who works along side Lourdes making sure everyone gets served in the most pleasant way. Hats off for the hotel staff who made this trip so memorable for my wife and I. Front desk, housekeeping and of course restaurant staff. Room was very clean and the whole hotel looks impecable. Highly recommended without hesitation, it’s truly a pleasure to stay in this property.

The rooms are very clean, staff is amazing! Pedro, Raquel, Anna, Ceasar(driver) the houseman Jose, all the staff made my stay spectacular and special! Great team! I will definitely return fue abrir stay on my next birthday trip.

The level of customer service and hospitality surpassed my expectations. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in the country. Not to mention, staff were extremely kind and helpful. Definitely will stay here next time I come!

Hotel is charging for cleaning towels: Estimado Sr. Reciba un saludo de Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Managua, el motivo del mensaje es para notificarle del Hold a su tarjeta por $236.03 IVA incluido, esto en concepto de daños a la habitación. El departamento de ama de llaves nos reportó manchadas en la Hab., 2 toallas de baño, 2 toallas de mano y 2 toallas faciales. Lamentando el penoso incidente quedamos a su entera disposición para aclarar cualquier duda o consulta. This was ent to me about towels with makeup smear from washing your face.

From the moment we arrived to the hotel to the day we left everyone was so courteous and warm. Excellent breakfast and the staff so kind. The room was very clean and comfortable. The security Officer made us feel safe arriving their late at night. Overall we loved it!

You get for what you’ve paid. Comfort room, good size bed, same as the bathroom. The rooms have a good silence proof system. Clean room, good A/C system. Pool has a good temperature, good size. Maybe the food needs an improvement but as for the rooms, very good. And respectful staff.

We had a great experience, staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating for our family. We enjoyed our stay in clean rooms and will be coming back in the future, we definitely recommend this hotel for families.

DO NOT BOOK!!!! HOTEL holds huge noisy parties LATE NIGHT in front of all rooms. If your plan is to rest, not in this hotel! Not clear how Hilton allows such behaviour. I attach photos.
