Riad Nafis

The staff and service was excellent. They made us feel so welcome and relaxed at the property. The riad is in a quiet place and although cars cant get to the entrance of the road, you can easily walk to the place from the main street. Tucked in a little corner and although the outside might not look impressive, the inside is certainly as reflect in the picture. Unfortunately, I was looking forward to swimming but we couldnt use the pool as the water was cold. Also note there is no actual spa in the riad but the owner can easily recommend some good places for you which are close by. Breakfast was nice and typical morrocan styled, there is option to request for dinner should you wish to and you just need to give the staff a heads up. Overall, i had a pleasant stay at Road Nafis

A great place to stay at only walking distance from the city center. Excellent personal service from everyone and especially Abdul. Always happy to help and give good tips and advice. A small but peaceful heaven in a busy but exiting city. Great breakfast to start the day !

I am going to start my review at the near end of our delightful stay here. My husband, myself and our 2 friends who were also staying here were on way back on Friday night when the earthquake hit. Thankfully we were just at the main entry and managed to get away from the walls of the Kings House. We walked to the park but after a short while we headed back to find Abdul looking for us and other guests. Abdul is a young man who dealt with this terrifying situation with a maturity beyond his years. He went and got us all blankets, made sure we had water, and bought some chocolate bars for us. Having Abdul with us was of course a blessing as he could talk with the palace guards and was able to let us know when we could go back into the Riad, which was about 6 hours later. The following day which was our last, Abdul went and got food that the lovely Amina made into the most delicious Chicken Tagine. Yazin, the owner also checked in with us, as did Hamid. Our whole experience at Riad Nafis was one of belonging to a wonderful family, we can't thank them all enough for being so kind to us all when they were obviously worried about family and friends of their own. Just returned from a weeks stay at Riad Nafis and we are so happy we stayed there. The Riad itself is beautiful with lovely traditional rooms, a pool and a roof terrace that you can sun bathe on with a few sun beds, tables and a lovely outdoor seating area you can enjoy the sunset on. Our room was really comfortable with a nice bed, huge bath tub and traditional Moroccan style that made us feel like we were having an authentic stay in Marrakech. The rooms come with a free and easy to use safe for all your valuables and it felt extremely safe at all times! There was also great air con and wifi. The rooms were serviced daily and were extremely clean. Service wise was outstanding the host Yazin was extremely helpful, warm, welcoming and friendly and made you feel part of the family and that you were staying in a home from home. Nothing was too much trouble, he arranged our airport taxis, as well as booked dinner for us, other guests had arranged tours and excursions by him and I wish we did that instead of the group ones we had booked else where. His knowledge of Marrakech was amazing and he was always happy to help. He gave us his number on the first day and was happy for us to text or call at any time. Even the night before we left, very late we realised we needed our boarding passes printing and this was not too much trouble. All of the people who worked there were so helpful and friendly. They also serve meals on request which smelt amazing and would feel like you’re having your on private dining experience. A good Breakfast is served fresh every morning and they will accommodate different times if you need it earlier! The location of the riad also feels very safe walking to and from, with it being so close to security guards for the nearby palace. It is a 10 minute walk from the main square and close to most tourist attractions! We really loved our stay and are so pleased we chose to stay here over a big chain hotel. Value for money is amazing and felt like we had a proper authentic stay. We would not hesitate to return here in future.

I felt at home in this place ! kind and always available staff, the boss always ready to help and advise, super good breakfast and high quality dinners. Located in a comfortable and safe area at five minutes from the main square. Simplicity is always the best option. we will definitely be back.

This is a wonderful small Riad in a quiet, authentic district just a short walk from the heart of the old town. The staff are excellent - Yassine, the owner, and a small, friendly team, and this is hugely helpful. It has 5 rooms, all well-furnished and finished, set around a pool, and with a lovely roof terrace. Breakfast was very good - we wish we'd had a chance for a dinner - next time! The bed was comfortable, the shower good and the wi-fi excellent - and there was aircon/heating if needed. We'll certainly be back the next time we're in Marrakech!

Nafis Riad is amazing, I go often to Marrakesh and always stay there. The staff is amazing, helpful, worried and dedicated. They always try to accommodate you the best way possible and feel at home. I have stayed at Nafis many times, it’s my home in Marrakesh, thanks to Amina, Hamid, and Yassin. Stunning rooms, everything super clean, great breakfasts, and food. Location could not be better, very safe, just outside the Kings palace, in the Medina. Congratulations Nafis staff, keep up the good work!

My first time staying in a Riad. It really is like living in a pleasant house, so don't expect as much privacy or isolation as you might get in a typical hotel. It's a lot more intimate and close quarters. I enjoyed staying at the Riad Nafis - it was comfortable and you were well looked after. Yassine, the owner, went above and beyond in trying to assist me after I left my wallet in a taxi. He was always happy to help and welcome you as were his team. I happily recommend.

We loved our stay at Riad Nafis. The owner was very friendly and helpful, with excellent English which was a relief as my French is not very good. The service is very good, on par with a 5 star hotel. The room was very comfortable, it is not palatial, but is very nice and a great value. We enjoyed the location, it was 10-15 minutes walk away from the main square and was a little less hectic, though I would not say quiet. There are 24 hour guards at the adjacent Royal Palace so the very unassuming little alleys to access the Riad feel safe at all hours. The Riad is a little confusing to find at first and looks very plain from outside, but this seems to be common with riads in Marrakech. Yassine arranged several great excursions for us and also arranged a romantic dinner at a very nice restaurant for our anniversary. The personal touches that he arranged for us for dinner were a wonderful surprise. I included a picture of the dinner setting, even though this is not in the Riad. There was also a stork's nest on a nearby mosque that was very visible from the rooftop terrace and a great photo opportunity if you have a good camera (I only had my iphone)
