Lovely would recommend. Cheap and cheerful. Don’t know why people are so negative about this place, I would stay here again. Clean, beds made everyday, clean towels, friendly staff. Located twenty minute walk from the square, and the souks. Off licence around the corner, which sells plenty of beer, wine and spirits. £11.00, for a bottle of wine and six beers. Highly recommended!!!

We checked in to our deluxe room, and it was a horrible stay. First off, the deluxe room building is the furthest building away from the hotel, and by the time we get to our room, the view from our balcony is of a construction site and parking lot. Our room had a particularly strong vinegar smell to it, and we asked to move rooms. We were told that every deluxe room was sold out and we would be able to move rooms the next day. Next day comes around and we didn’t hear from the hotel. Every call to guest services took at least 3-5 minutes until someone answered or called back. We also came back to our hotel room unlocked, and it seemed housekeeping didn’t truly close our door when they cleaned it. On our last night, the A/C didn’t seem to work. We called guest services and the lady I spoke to told me that it was turned off for the whole hotel. When asked why or when will it be turned back on, she abruptly interrupts me and says I’m transferring you to the front desk. I waited for at least 2 minutes on the phone before someone from the front desk to answer my call, and he informs me that someone will come check our A/C. We love staying at different hotels in different countries and had no issues with other hotels in Marrakech, however, our stay at Movenpick was very underwhelming and staff didn’t seem to care at all. This has been a very awful experience, and hope that the hotel management can make a much better experience and improvement for others.

The hotel is amazing the staff the food the services… everything is wonderful. Essadi hotel located in te city center where everything is closed: restaurants, drug stores, coffee shops and supermarkets. I recommend it strongly and hope you will enjoy it as we did 😌

Our stay at Riad Miral was absolutely perfect. Monica was a delight and Reda was very helpful and sweet! Their rooms are beautiful as well the communal areas, are all clean , cosy and welcoming. The scents that welcomes you as soon as you enter is wonderful as well as their mint tea and biscuits! The Riad is the heart od the Medina and very close to what beautiful Marrakech has to offer. Everything was perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if anything we wish we had a couple of more day just to relax on top of the roof, the terrace was exquisite and we had lovely breakfast up there. Thanks Monica for making us feel like home and for being so helpful. I will definitely come back and I would recommend your beautiful Riad to anyone!

Advantages: 1. The hotel meals are amazing. Buffet is invincible, and it has beaten most five-star hotels in Morocco. This price is worth the dinner. 2. Very suitable for bringing children. The baby club has its own farm, with sheep, peacocks, turkeys, etc. Children love it. They have a full range of amusement equipment and a classroom, which can be hosted. It is a pity that the opening time is no later than 5:30 pm. 3. There are 3 outdoor swimming pools in the hotel. The pools can be launched in winter, and there is an artificial lake for boating. There are also tennis courts and children's golf courses. 4. Beautiful environment, suitable for vacation, palm park. 5. Can add an extra bed. Toothbrush with slippers Next talk about the flaws: 1. The room is too small ... average bedding. 2. The location is very remote, the suburbs, and you can consider own car.

The facilities in the room are relatively old, the TV is still a big box, but other facilities are relatively complete, the specifics of not including breakfast are not clear, the overall comparison is quite satisfactory.

Hotel in a great location, 10 minutes walk from Djemalefna Square. The hotel is old and fairly poorly maintained, but the air conditioning has just been changed in all the rooms. The rooms are clean but could use some freshening up!!! Very nice swimming pool with a beautiful park-garden very well maintained, but old furniture around. The staff (very nice) was a bit understaffed and slow, but it's Ramadan. For breakfast it's passable but the pastries are always from the day before ... and the service is minimal. For the evening meal: go your way and for the price of the wines it's surreal!!! The staff barely speaks French (French is no longer taught in Morocco), the oldest still speak it a little!... We have been going to this hotel for more than 20 years only because it is super well placed and that we are not too difficult (having used to travel to the 4 corners of the world). But it is not even worth a 2 star from us. The management doesn't even do the minimum service, but again the location is TOP!

With the hindsight of some of the reviews i have read on this hotel, my conclusion after just staying here for a few days is they are absolutely not giving the hotel the justice it derserves. Yes the hotel is old, might be some tiles missing here and there' or some wall plug not sitting 100 % in the wall. But generally its not a problem that can't be solved if you ask the staff they are both friendly and helpfull. With a large family in marrakech and the experience of travelling here every other year for the last 30 years this is nothing out of the ordinary on hotels of marrakech unless you are staying at something absolutely high end hotel which will probably cost you small fortune Garden is magnificent with a spacious pool area, friendly and helpfull staff that solves any problems you might have, good food with fair prices. Rooms are spacious well ventilated (Ive read a lot of people complaining about the A/C, to that i can just say morocco is one of the warmest places on earth specially during the summer time and thats not anything even the best A/C can solve) The only negative thing is the area around the hotel once was a ”highend” district with lots of luxury hotels sadly the last couple of years the area has been in decay leaving it quite ”dead” which means you have to find a taxi to get to anywhere interesting which is not a big cost (20Dh-40dh), but can be tricky if you are travelling more then 3 persons due to lack of big taxis and the fact that small taxi´s only take 3 people. I stayed 4 days at Riad Khabia and had a wonderful time. Communication was perfect from the first inquiry until my date of departure. Rachid got out of his way to make everything possible to ma my stay memorable. He gave me an upgrade to a superior room, organised my taxi and was great with general information about Marrakech and the country as a whole. Breakfast is great and can be enjoyed on the terrace if the weather permits. The Riad is centrally located and still of from traffic noise. I will stay here anytime again.

What a wonderful place. Lovely rooms, excellent hosts and the smell- beautiful orange flower. Traditional Moroccan breakfast served by a smiling, accommodating lady, I’m afraid I never got her name. The host is exceptional and will help you with whatever you need help with. Once out in the street initially you can feel like you’re in a maze and won’t ever find the riad again, however this is part of the fun and you’ll soon get your bearings. Highly recommended.
