Riad Nelia de Marrakech Hotel Boutique & Spa

I instantly fell in love with the interior design which makes you feel right at home. The place is very clean and quiet. All the staff members we interacted with were very friendly and approachable. The food was delicious and the breakfast is huge. The riad is conveniently located in the medina within walking distance from Jemaa el-Fna Square and the beautiful Bahia Palace. Looking forward to lodging there again in my next visit to Marrakech.

We spent two nights in Marrakech at Riad Nelia. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed from the parking lot and accompanied along the short walk to the riad. It’s an exquisite riad and from the moment you step in it’s a magical experience. Upon arrival at the riad we were checked in, offered a relaxing cup of Morrocan tea and sat down for a brief introduction of Riad Nelia and it’s proximity to tourist spots, restaurants and other places of interests. It’s perfectly located in the Medina and very safe to walk even at night as two females. The staff were very friendly and made our stay so easy; always willing to assist in any way. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The food was great. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer, two nights in Marrakech is not enough. I fully recommend a stay at Riad Nelia, it was a wonderful experience and a perfect example of great hospitality.

Beautiful Riad in the heart of Marrakech. Very friendly staff which will help you organize whatever you need. We did hammam following with massage which was indeed unforgettable experience. After we did enjoy Moroccan tea on the rooftop overlooking the city and listening to the prayers at sunset. Highly recommend this one!

I fell in love with this place from the first sight, it is absolutely charming. My room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast included delicious yogurt, which was a treat for me. Cozy rooftop with a small pool was a perfect place to eat, relax, and watch sunsets. The closest to the riad you can get by car is Hammam Ziani, there is a parking lot with taxis always available. Ziani is on a bustling street where you can find anything you may possibly need, plenty of restaurants (vegan La Famille is excellent), snacks and water, A**, money exchange, all kinds of shops and what not. Walking from Ziani one way will get you to Jemaa el Fnaa, and the other way - to A** and Bahia palace. Go through the arch next to Ziani, make two left turns, and in a minute you are at Nelia in a quiet corner away from all craziness. Upon arrival, I learned that the payment was expected in cash. I was upset that I did not know that beforehand. But all the staff were so gracious and helpful, the service was so good, the ambiance so lovely that the inconvenience of making multiple trips to A** felt minor. The manager Momo (sorry if I spell the name wrong) went above and beyond making my stay as perfect as it could get, from helping with the luggage to giving suggestions and directions. Overall, I cannot be happier with the riad choice and more grateful to its staff. I am wishing Nelia many more happy guests.

Sometimes you see a hotel that's so beautiful online, you're worried if it will really live up to the posting, and the Riad Nelia absolutely did! From the start, when the staff met me at my taxi drop off to arrange a porter to help with my luggage, to the last day when they did the same (but at 7:30am!), our stay here was so relaxing and wonderful. The staff - Mamou, Mohamed, and others - were all so helpful, welcoming, and kind. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with lovely touches, and the communal space of the Riad was stunning. We had a wonderful breakfast on the rooftop (if a bit chilly because of the weather), and I cannot recommend this Riad more! It's only a 15 minute walk to the center square, and very easily accessible if you want a taxi drop off.

What can I say, this Riad is amazing in every way. From the location, to the spotlessly clean interior and rooms, it's insta worthy appearance, comfortable beds, reliable WiFi and staff who go out of their way to make your stay extra special. Breakfast on the rooftop set us up for the day in such incredible surroundings. The riad has its own driver who will take you wherever you want to go and pick you up for a small fee. Will definitely return to the Riad and recommend to anyone.

Perfectly located riad, beautifully decorated with local craft and natural materials. Nice view on the roof terrace. The staff was very friendly. Easy and quick check in and check out. Easy to walk from to the medina and only a few minutes away from car park.

A very lovely riad! Reservation by email was efficient. Riad was quiet and peaceful. Staffs were very welcoming and friendly. Hammam and massage was amazing! They have only one massage bed tho, my boyfriend and I had to take turns. Room was clean and cozy. Simple breakfast and welcome drink & snack was served on the pretty rooftop with a view and relaxed a**osphere. Pool was cold in late October, but the pool area was beautiful and instagrammable;)

Wonderful Riad! The staff are so welcoming. They pay attention to every detail. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooftop is lovely and breakfast was great. An oasis in the Medina! Highly recommend this riad.
