Tropical Attitude,

Great service from the staff. They made our anniversary extra special for us. We were just a bit disappointed with the food, we mostly ate out at other restaurants when we stayed here. I'd highly recommend a stay in the villa. Unfortunately, the beach side is only good to look at and not good to get into.

Stayed at this hotel in June 2024 which is out of season for Mauritius as it is their winter. It is a lovely little hotel where the staff can’t do enough to make sure that you get the most out of your holiday. Negatives-it is very windy due to its location on the east coast of the island. You can get the free boat at 9 or 10am to the island nearby where it is not so windy but this boat gets busy and there are only a few spaces. Positives- the a la carte menu at lunch times has lots of delicious food options. The buffet in the evening is ok but you can eat off an a la carte menu if you wish. Sous chef Vikash made sure we had a lovely meal of tiger prawns and steak whilst we were there, which was delicious.

Delicious food, amazing view , and extremely supportive staff. Plus value for money ... All in one package. Overall it is an excellent hotel. Do consider living here .. This hotel has fabulous food and chef Chef is friendly and approachable. He customised food for my veg wife everytime.

The staff are amazing and so welcoming here at Tropical Attitude Hotel. Nothing is too much brother, Kristof looked after myself and my partner from day one. Vikash one of the chefs is a character and so friendly, food is amazing and they always cater for the individual. I visited the spa on our last day for a pedicure and the spa is gorgeous, with a very relaxing atmosphere and amazing smells, so friendly . This hotel is small and friendly and very relaxing. I would highly recommend staying here. We will miss all the staff Samantha & Mark from Newcastle.

Have just returned from Tropical which was a special trip to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary, which the hotel helped us celebrate in style with a special menu and decorated table. The first and most important thing I would like to say is a huge thank you to Karen and Chantika who were extremely patient and understanding when my husband asked the same questions on many occasions due to his dementia. Their general caring attitude is to be highly recognised and appreciated. We did have a few issues having decided to upgrade to All Inclusive, in the bar and restaurant, even 6/7 days in we were still being asked to sign for paid food and drinks. Our room was as expected but with a few housekeeping issues to bring to the attention of the management. The first thing I noticed was the dirty/sticky marks on our door. This could easily have been cleaned off but had been left, not a good first impression. We then discovered (as mentioned in other reviews) the wall in our bathroom was covered in black mould, not a nice thing to see. Finally a bit more attention to cleaning detail would help, the shelf where the tv stood was covered in black dust and not always cleaned. All other areas are kept spotlessly clean, especially the pool/bar and restaurant. There were usually sun beds to be had but when the boat to Il aux Cerf didn’t run due to the weather there was a shortage. Lovely to not have to worry about beach towels, which you can even take on outside trips and can be changed twice a day. Sadly the weather wasn’t that kind on a few days so we went exploring. We took a taxi to Port Louis, we started at the market, then went onto the mall, then off to the botanical gardens. The taxi waits for you at each destination snd you don’t pay until you get back to the hotel. We were out for 5 hours at a cost of RM3,500 about £62.00. Two highly recommended trips would be the leisurely Catamaran Cruise s and the more adventurous 5 Island Speedboat Tour. Restaurant wise try Koh Nom, the food was amazing. Outside of Tropical definitely visit Green Island, great, reasonably priced food and lovely friendly staff. Overall we had a great holiday. Thank you most sincerely to all the staff at Tropical who go above and beyond to make your holiday special, truly lovely people.

This place is very beautiful. It has the ocean right in front of it. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. The chef are very hospitable too. Would definitely recommend this beautiful property for all couples to have a perfect gateaway.

We stayed at Tropical Attitude for 10 days in March/April for our honeymoon. Our whole stay was perfect! The food was amazing (we particularly enjoyed the street food at Taba-j) and even booked in a 5-course lobster dinner as a treat. The staff at Tropical Attitude could not have done more for us. They were friendly, approachable and attentive. Special shout outs go to: Raj and Yuvan the bar men; Sunil, Karuna, Ram and Aujub the waiting staff; Karen on the front desk; Nazimah our cleaner (for the fantastic towel art); and Vikash the Chef. All of the staff were amazing but these were the only names we remember! During our stay, we walked into the local village, took a boat trip to Ile aux Cerfs, did some snorkeling and a glass bottom boat trip. We also booked an extra trip on a Catamaran which took us to some beautiful waterfalls and we saw wild monkeys! We would highly recommend visiting Belle Mare beach where we did scuba diving with Dive Passion – they were brilliant. The hotel booked us taxis which were affordable and friendly. The taxis stayed with us all day or picked us up at a certain time. We also enjoyed the evening entertainment at the hotel. One band even let my husband play the drums with them. We couldn’t fault this hotel at all. We would definitely recommend Tropical Attitude to anyone wanting to visit Mauritius!
