Hilton Garden Inn Mbabane ★★★★

📍 Mhlambanyatsi Rd, Mbabane

📍 Malagwane Hill Mbabane SZ, Mbabane

"The lodge is really hard to find. The description should be much better. The rooms are very basic, otherwise fine. The dinner was really inadequate, took a long time, and was simply not tasty. Very poor compared to other places we stayed. Breakfast was fine, though. I would choose a different location if you're traveling through."

Mountain View International Hotel ★★★

📍 Princess Drive, Mbabane

"I had a wonderful stay at Mountain View Hotel in Mbabane and would happily return. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, with a beautiful view facing the mountains that felt so natural and truly in touch with nature. I also loved the thoughtful touch of Bible verses along the pathway — a peaceful detail I really appreciated. Thank you to the whole team for a great experience! One small suggestion: shower caps in the rooms, as other hotels provide, would make it even better. Overall, a lovely stay — I'll definitely be back!"

📍 MR 3 Highway, Offramp 7 1, Mbabane

"A luxurious tourist base outside the bustling capital! The manager is the most warm and welcoming person! Everything is austere, but that's the beauty of this accommodation. Getting around is easy, either by private transport or by taxi!"

"It’s honestly just a run down and old place to stay. Nothing is up to date, it feels very very old, as if you’ve been teleported back into the 19th century. The bed was fine but the shower, toilet, living space, kitchenette and outside the room were all run down and weathered, the dining room was even worse, curtains were old, carpets as well and it all had a very odd and damp smell to it, which is understandable because animals were allowed to come in to the dining space (ew). The food at the restaurant is viciously overpriced for the value. The rooms were, however, clean and the staff very friendly, it was cleaned daily and my teas and coffee etc. were topped up. The Wi-Fi was decent, nothing to write home about but decent. The views were incredible, it is situated at a very prime location to see over the mountains - that was the biggest positive. Overall I’d suggest you stay somewhere modern unless you’re well and truly in a situation where nothing else was available like I was."
