"The owners are incredibly friendly. The owner is a professional bird photographer, and the clientele here is quite specific, mostly focused on bird photography or painting. Every evening, he'd sit at the guesthouse entrance, sharing the day's photographic captures with guests. And the moment he'd hear a bird call, he'd grab a flashlight and enthusiastically lead us out to find nocturnal owls! 😇😇😇
The location is superb! It felt like we were practically staying *in* the botanical garden; incredibly convenient, like having it as our own backyard! Excellent value for money, I highly recommend this place! 🤓"

"Lovely hotel between the border police and the railway station. We stayed just one night. The people working at the hotel are highly dedicated and service minded. If you do not speak Chinese you should install a translator app so you can communicate with the reception. They arranged a transfer for us for the railway station. Comfortable rooms and large bathroom. Better than European standards."

No. 8 of Family Hotels in Xishuangbanna"The location is absolutely fantastic, making it the top choice for both night tours and daytime visits to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. However, the facilities are undeniably outdated; it's an old-fashioned hotel, and the breakfast is just average. Even for an old hotel, it barely scrapes by as a 3-star. The lack of charging stations is a major inconvenience, as you have to drive more than ten minutes from the east gate to the west gate to charge. But, if you're planning night tours and daytime sightseeing, I genuinely recommend it because you can directly access everything from the hotel lobby, which means more sleep! Despite the hotel being old, the service is prompt and the staff are quite nice."

No. 6 of Family Hotels in Xishuangbanna"I'd give it a 5-star rating overall. The hardware and design of the rooms and public areas are flawless – high ceilings, stylish, and opulent. The on-site photography service was surprisingly good too, with plenty of great shots to choose from. However, the hotel service could use some improvement at check-in. From the moment we drove into the hotel until we entered the lobby, there wasn't a single staff member to guide us. The buggy driver didn't proactively help with our luggage at check-in either. On the flip side, the young man with glasses who helped us at check-out was incredibly attentive, following me to the car to help with luggage. Other staff members we encountered at different times were also very enthusiastic. All in all, I'm satisfied."

"I booked a river-view room for two nights. The room wasn't large, but it was compact and adequate, not too cramped, and the facilities were sufficient. The hotel's design reflects a resort concept. I've been here several times before, and this time the room had been renovated. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The bedding was comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet, although the bed was a bit small. At night, I could hear frogs croaking and roosters crowing in the distance. There was a reading lamp by the bed. The river-view room had a small terrace with a pleasant view of the Nanla River. I mainly came here for the surrounding environment. There's a good Dai-style restaurant called Mikanhong in Manlongle Village nearby, which I always eat at, but it's the only one I visit. It's not very commercialized, so it's suitable for people who prefer peace and quiet. There are several villages within about ten kilometers that you can drive to explore. On weekends, you can go to local markets and eat delicious food. Showering was inconvenient; the water wasn't very hot during the day, so I could only shower at night, but it was fine by the next morning. The breakfast was average, but filling. The trash cans were small, not big enough for a resort hotel. Overall, it's a budget hotel."

"I came to this border town during the holiday, and the scenery is so unique! It's much better than I thought~
The hotel has an excellent location. It's a few dozen meters away from the entrance of the suspension bridge at the north gate of the botanical garden and then turn a corner. Entering is Baizhu Garden and Baihua Garden. I also took pictures of super cute squirrels and red-eared bulbuls in Baizhu Garden. Moreover, there are few people at this entrance during the May Day holiday, so there is no need to queue up. It's super convenient.
Secondly, the hotel is newly renovated, the facilities and supplies are relatively new, and the air conditioner is actually Gree, which cools very fast (occupational disease is triggered hahaha), the hygiene is quite clean, very good, and the price-performance ratio is not bad! !
The boss lady and the boss are very simple and enthusiastic. The boss lady also invited us to eat blueberry passion fruit, thank you! The recommended Green Bamboo House and Shuishui Qingwang are delicious and affordable, which makes me like this town +1^o^
In short, this hotel is worth recommending! You can stay here when you come to the botanical garden! Menglun Town is also worth visiting. The Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is really an eye-opener. The strangler fig, parashorea chinensis, Victoria amazonica, etc. are all things I can't see in the inland. Amazing! A paradise for plant lovers~
In addition, we happened to see a lot of amazing Dai food on Sunday. We also went to the nearby Chengzi Village to experience the Dai folk customs. It was a very pleasant trip to avoid the crowds~ Happy"

"Environment: The lobby is stylish, the green plants in the public area are scattered, the corridor is quiet and no noise; the room is lighted, the port scenery outside the window is clear, the decoration is both business texture and Southeast Asian style, and the air is fresh and odorless.
Service: There is a warm greeting from the door, the front desk is super fast, and it also actively provides Laos entry and exit tips and local food guides; 24-hour customer service response is timely, the room cleaning is soft and whispering, and the details are full of super intimate.
