I travelled as a single parent with my 3 boys (8,10,17) we had a very nice holiday and definitely would come back. There are different pool areas which the children enjoyed a lot mostly the one with the water slide. The hotel is close to a small beach which is nice however menorca has countless beaches to discover so we mainly did go around the island via taxi and visited stunning beaches. The staff was very friendly. And if you ask at reception they happily provide vegetarian or vegan options for food. There is plenty of salads and seeds to add to it from the buffet. Rooms are lovely and clean and the roomservice how you would expect it. We came home to a fresh room and towels every day. We never had problems with noise as I read in other reviews. Very quiet. We travelled in September which is excellent for plenty of Sun but not too hot. No animation at this time of the year which I very much appreciated:-) There is a football pitch which my kids loved 😍 We stayed 14 nights and for the money we payed it was exactly what we hoped for.

We stayed in one of the oldest buildings in the resort and it was very basic and needed some inves**ent in the building itself and the apar**ent. Furnishings were tired- one cupboard door didn’t close, curtains not wide enough to cover the windows etc. The worst thing however was the lack cleanliness and nothing in the apar**ent for us to clean it ourselves. The beds were changed after six days and then only the top sheets and pillowcases. The floors not swept and we found a child’s dummy under the sofa along with a lot of dirt. It would have also been good if they opened the poolside snack bars for longer and another quiet bar in the evening. On the plus side, the meals were good with a wide range of choices. The staff were great, especially Alexandra, the customer services manager. The area around the resort is quiet but the bus service into Ciutadella and surrounding resorts is good.

This hotel has nothing around it to do. The decor is old fashioned. The rooms are spacious and clean but have suspicious stains on the sofa, the window does not close at all despite signs warning you to close windows for air con to be effective. There is a noisy road at the side. Hotel was really empty but they lied and said they were full when we requested a late check out. Would definitely not recommend. On the plus side it is QUIET. The pool is large and nice to swim in. Biggest problem is lack of shops and a poor choice of restaurants in the immediate vicinity and the unhelpfulness of the late check out - which you have to pay for anyway!

Great hotel set over three areas, Blanc palace, sa caletta player apar**ents (where we stayed) and the cottages. We stayed bed and breakfast which catered for anything you might require. In an ideal location, the beach is only down a couple of steps where there is a lovely beach bar. A short walk away are other beaches and a longer walk takes you to beautiful Cuidadella. Alberto the activities organiser put his heart and soul into every activity be it with a dad and his two sons or with over 50 Spanish teenagers who stayed at the hotel during the San Juan fiesta. We have stayed here 6 times and will return again.

Checked in by Laura on reception who was lovely and gave all the information needed. I stayed in 1125 one bedroom apar**ent with baloney view of the front of the hotel. Room had everything you needed for self catering as I was travelling alone. I had issues with my key card then the actual lock didn’t work I had to go to reception but Raffaella on reception she quickly called maintenance to come and look at it to fix. The pool area is so lovely, relaxing and well maintained. I didn’t eat in the main dinning all so I cannot comment on the food however ate at the pool bar a few times which was good and a good selection of drinks. All staff was friendly especially the ones at the pool bar and very accommodating. They made me feel safe especially travelling alone as a 25 year old girl. Ciutadella is a 25 min walk or you can get a taxi or the 64 bus for €1.60. Ciutadella is beautiful and has array of restaurants and bars to choose from. A small beach next to the hotel I couldn’t believe how clear the water was. Finally Alexandra, I believe she was the hotel coordinator asking everyone how they was doing, gave recommendations and just had a good conversation with her. I will definitely return

There was a problem with fire alarm which is aparentely turning on often making the safety of the hotel guests questionable 😕 The hotel is old and not very well kept. There is rust here and there, also some very old dirt. The rooms smell. Low quality of food, no variety, everyday the same. But to be fair it was quite cheap, the stuff is friendly, there is a nice small beach just very close. large swimming pool.

Booked our apar**ent here for 7 nights, and was worried reading the reviews but I am so happy we ended up coming here, I really can’t understand the bad reviews, it’s a gorgeous resort with great facilities, plenty for kids to do with slides and parks, a beach with swings just 5 minutes walk round the corner! It’s not super modern but it’s traditional Spanish & places don’t have to be modern in order for it to be nice! Amazing buffet breakfast, me and my daughter vegan and managed to eat over 3 plates, fresh fruit & juice, hot food like hash browns , tomatoes, gorgeous oat milk etc. A lovely restaurant down the road with trampolines & indoor play area for kids. Apar**ent itself was well equipped & has all you need to cook a meal, was very clean, cleaners came in changed our towels and made beds. Overall really happy! We’re leaving in a few days, but definitely recommend :) my only complain would be that if you carry the key card close to your mobile phone it stops the key working so you take it To reception and they will sort it out for you, that’s about it! We’ve enjoyed it a lot , thankyou :)

This hotel has a lot of potential with 7 pools and located right on the beach. The problem is that it is badly run, poorly maintained and most of the bars/restaurants are derelict. Many of the basic facilities we should have had in the room were either broken or missing. The maid service was appalling. Towels were taken away and not replaced. This happened several times during the week and complaints to reception and Jet2 didn't resolve the problem until the last day. Toilet rolls also not replaced. We had many visits to reception and there were always queues to be seen as other guests also making complaints. Reception staff no better than the maids. Unhelpful and often just nodded and smiled. Also very difficult to eat here. Very little food available during the day. No snack bar!! As most places were derelict everyone eating in one place at breakfast and evening meant it was chaos. 30 minutes to queue for a pancake!!!! Wasn't much quicker to get a coffee... The hotel is not in Cala Santandria as described which means many bus/taxi trips. This numbs the mind when doing twice a day in boiling hot weather. WiFi is very poor around the site and bizarrely works better at the pool furthest away from reception. Air conditioning also not great and sounds like a Harley Davidson.. Like a week in prison we had little freedom and couldn't relax. At Strangeways you would at least have access to regular food, showers and can always use the toilet. The two stars are for the pools and location. All the rest was dire. I would compare to Fawlty Towers but at least they had a manager. No sign of one here all week. Maybe they had a garden gnome in charge instead.....
