"The hotel offers a wonderful setting, with direct access to the sea – perfect for catching sunsets. The on-site food and drink options, including a Starbucks, are incredibly convenient. A shuttle service is also provided, making returns from San Francisco business trips very easy."

"Great location, and they offer a shuttle bus to the airport, running four times an hour. The front desk staff are really nice; they even offered to check if I could check in early. There was one lady who wasn't super friendly, but she still helped with requests. I didn't see any Chinese-speaking staff, but the front desk was very patient and spoke slowly in English during checkout. Dining options nearby aren't super convenient, you have to walk a bit, but there's a ramen vending machine and a small bar on the first floor, so you won't go hungry."

Good base at The Millwood to do all I needed to over the 2-night stay. $13 uber ride back to the airport; From the airport: took the BART to Milbrae ($5.50) then an $8 uber ride to hotel. I thought a $30 uber ride from airport too excessive for a solo traveler."
