Domia Boutique Hotel e Cucina

A Mondello MUST!!! Domia was the best experience of our entire trip!! The hotel is just beyond stunning, the food is on another level of delish (think Michelin Star level of good), the staff was beyond helpful in every way possible specifically Glenda... she helped us with any and all questions we had from the start of our booking months prior. The pool is beautiful, plenty of seats, clean.. dreamy! The location is perfect, 5-7 mins walk to the beach. The AC was strong and the rooms stayed cool all night (not that common in Italy to have strong good AC). The decor was on point, Angela the owner left a personal note in the room for us after checking in which is always a great simple little touch that means so much :) The kitchen was closed when we came back from the beach and my daughter was hungry, Giuseppe who was working the front desk went out of his way to quickly make us a caprese salad and veggie board to have something till dinner...they go out of their way in all aspects to accommodate their guest. This won't happen at most hotels.. they would just tell you "kitchen closed" period. The beds were very comfortable + good linens, black out curtains to make sure the room stayed dark and a mini fridge! The hot tub in our junior suite room was SO fun for my daughter after the beach to play in while we got ready for dinner AND there was an outside shower right there. STAY HERE, don't even bother looking at anything else! YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Most amazing, attentive and happy staff! Wonderful bed and bathroom and pool area with always a sun bed available. Absolutely fantastic breakfast, lunch AND dinner and the service was impicable. We should have stayed longer! We will be coming back to try a longer stay another time. A special secret place to rest in busy Mondello!

Hidden gem in Mondello. Maybe the best hotel we ever stayed in. Why? Angela and team! Amazing People. Wonderful surroundings. Not fancy and posh but luxury at its best. everything in the hotel is well thought through. Nice rooms, pool area and amazing food. We travelled a family of 4. Played padel nearby, exercised in the local gym, driving to Palermo in 20 minutes. Easy parking. We will be back. For sure.

Beautiful hotel, ambience is very calm and serene. Less than 5 minutes walk from the beach. Staff very kind and gentle they fitted with the hotel vibe. Breakfast was delicious, unfortunately we weren’t told we could order more than one item but we overheard other guests being told this so from day 3 we really made the most of the amazing items on offer. We hadn’t gone hungry at all mind you, due to the buffet of bread, fruit and pastries! Lovely cocktails at the pool. Large room and bathroom and also a spacious private terrace. A real oasis in Mondello. Beach busy and surrounding roads lots of litter which is a shame, but not on the hotel road which is a private road. The sea is turquoise and warm and the sand soft and golden. We went to Capaci twice where the beach clubs were nicer (and cheaper) I recommend the Regionale di Sicily with orange umbrellas (name might be slightly wrong!) . Capaci is a 17 minute drive or 1 hr 20 by bus and train which isn’t as arduous as it sounds. Sea and sand also perfect there ! There cannot be a better place to stay in Mondello than Domia - highly recommended.

Where to start! This boutique hotel is a complete gem! Angela and her team are the loveliest of people and they really make your stay so memorable! The hotel is immaculate and has the most stunning decor! Every little detail has been thought out! The food was unbelievable! There is not a single negative thing to say about our recent one week stay at Hotel Domia. What a very special place! We hope to visit again next year. Thank you again Angela and the team! The Domia gets many good reviews. However, these did not prepare me for what we experienced. I have never seen a hotel which works so well and so smoothly. Where all the staff are so kind and so helpful (special mention to Glenda and Gabrielle). Where there is so much peace. And then there is the food. Hotel food can be mediocre. The food at the Domia is as good (if not better) as anything in Mondello. And there are a few brilliant restaurants in Mondello including a Michelin-starred one. Anyone staying at the Domia should eat here some of the time because the food is brilliant. The location is fine too. The amazing beach is about 5 - 10 minutes walk away. And a lot of the best restaurants in Mondello are about 10 minutes walk away. The presiding genius at the Domia (and I think she is a true genius) is Angela, the owner. How she has created this oasis both practically and emotionally I do not know. E molto gentile. We will not forget her kindness.

Tucked away in a private street, surrounded by lush greenery and olive trees you will find this beautiful small hotel. It only has 9 rooms so is intimate and peaceful. Away from the bustle of the beach front. The hotel is spacious, immaculate and modern with a lovely garden area with a pool. And we were surprised to find such a fantastic restaurant on site- so no need to go out if you want lunch or dinner - the chef Is excellent - especially his pastries and desserts. But what makes this hotel special are the friendly staff - it’s a real personal service which is delightful. The Domia is only a five minute walk to the beach which is also beautiful. The water is turquoise and the sand white. The 'Liberty style' Villas many of which were made in the early 20th century all around this area are stunning. A place well with coming to and chilling out before you explore the rest of Sicily.

What an amazing stay we had a Domia Boutique Mondello. All of the staff were incredible and kind. Special shout out to Angela (the owner) who helped us with a lovely driver (Salvatore) and all other useful information about Mondello. Thank you as well to Josie for your care as well, you were so lovely to talk to. Rooms were fantastic, very modern and everything thought of. Pool is divine and so clean! This hotel is very luxurious in a small boutique way. We were so happy. Food first class - breakfast, lunch and dinner all tried, they even make their own bread and the best biscuits (I still want the recipe!). Thank you so much.

Walking into Domia Boutique hotel was like entering an inviting oasis. From the moment that we were welcomed by Angela, the owner, and the sign on reception 'Free hugs given here', we knew that we had made the best choice. Angela, accommodated our early check-in and our room (number 5), with it's our outdoor area/hot tub was just perfect. The attention to detail is amazing and the pool/outdoor area are immaculate. However, possibly the best bits are the amazing owner and delightful, smiling staff. They all have the same ethos of making their guests happy, comfortable and part of their warm 'family' whilst trying to accommodate their every need. The food both at breakfast and in the evening was of the very highest standard, with Floriana and her team, providing a different daily 'theme' as well as the standard menu. We would like to name a few of the super staff who went out of their way to make our stay a very special one, and apologies for leaving anyone out!. Firstly, those who 'spoilt' us at breakfast, Josie ,Katarina and Dominique, the 'dinner' team of Vittoria. Sebastiano and Glenda and obviously the wonderful owner Angela who inspires all these great smiling faces. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here, we cannot recommend it highly enough and we will definitely be back!. Thank you to you all!.
