Opened in 2023, the Luanping Chaoxing Farmhouse (Jinshanling Great Wall Branch) is a great accommodation choice in Luanping. With Liushuigou Railway Station just 13km away and Chengde Puning Airport only 85km away, transportation is very convenient. This hotel is located near many of Luanping's attractions including Hualou Valley, Jinshanling Great Wall - Xianyin Temple and Jinshanling Great Wall. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.
"Love their home cooked dishes! We rather go back to hotel for meal after Gubei water town. The couple bosses were so sweet to let us indicate spiciness and accommodate our minor diet restriction. They dun have noodles but they used alternative ingredients to make some gourd dish that tasted close to noodles.
The rooms were big, in SG standard, one bed was queen size and the other was super single. Their bathroom was newly renovated and love their heater installed at shower cubicle, making it more comfortable to shower in cold weather.
The couple bosses provided great tips on local transport to help us get to/fro Jinshanling for sunset and sunrise opportunities. They are situated around 5min drive from Jinshanling ticketing.
Love the room doorstep views overlooking the geese and house dog. We will choose this hotel next time!"

"Stay was good as long as the temperature is cold.
We realised that as long as the warmer is set up, the stink bugs infesting the room will come out in droves and will actively be hitting any light source around..
I counted at least 12 stink bugs and personally caught 8 of them, so if you're uncomfortable around bugs it may be better to keep the room temperature as low as possible, as they all disappear and generally do not disturb us so long the room is kept cold."

"This place was the best after our long walk along the Great Wall. We started in Gubekiou and walked the wall until Jinshanling. The farmhouse was only about a 20 min walk from the entrance of the Great Wall which we were happy about. As soon as we walked up the owner ran up and welcomed us and showed us to our rooms. Each of our rooms had two small beds and a bathroom w a shower. Great value for your money. The family running it fed us delicious food for breakfast and dinner, were so welcoming and even helped us plan our next day hike. Would stay here again!"

This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"Absolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

"This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! The location is incredibly convenient, the surrounding area is quiet, and getting around and finding places to eat is a breeze. The room was clean and tidy, decorated warmly and stylishly, with comfortable bedding and complete toiletries—the attention to detail was remarkable. The host was warm and attentive, responding promptly and even offering helpful recommendations for travel tips and local restaurants, making me feel right at home. The common areas were clean and comfortable, perfect for taking photos. Overall, a fantastic experience, great value for money, I'll definitely choose this place again next time, and I highly recommend it!"

"The room is very warm and very friendly to children. The picture book, puzzle, and building blocks are especially like to play with beads. The location is good and you can see the concert hall directly. Go to the first canteen, go directly to the third floor, and go from the corridor to the unit to go out. It was not cold in winter, and the housekeeper turned on the heating two days in advance. The owner also gave a check-in gift!"

"On April 30, we just randomly found a restaurant to stay at night, but it was unexpected. The boss and his wife were very nice. They waited for us at around 9 o'clock in the evening and helped us prepare dinner. The dishes cooked by the boss were also very delicious and especially suitable for our appetite. The room was newly renovated and carefully decorated. It was clean, hygienic and refreshing! I will choose this restaurant next time I go to Jinshanling Great Wall. There is a large parking lot at the door, which is convenient for parking."

GGuest UserVery suitable for parents and children and pets on vacation, we set a loft homestay, two big beds and a tatami can sleep. The air is very good, you can climb the mountain in the resort and see the Wild Great Wall. There are places for special children's activities, there are large lawns, and there are places for physical exercise. There are two large canteens for dinner, the dishes are very rich, and three meals can be solved. If you have any questions, you can find customer service and the answer is very fast. Overall it is very suitable for family travel.
