Mopanshan Village is located deep in the heart of the Dabie Mountains within the Huangbaishan National Forest Park in Shangcheng County, Xinyang City, Henan Province. Surrounded by a sea of bamboo and the refreshing breeze of pine trees, it is home to five traditional village inns with black-tiled roofs and blue bricks. The guest rooms are built along the mountain slopes, and the cobblestone paths connect the local original residences with their rising smoke. As the sun sets, its rays shine upon the vegetable fields and camellia trees, and the meandering stream once again embraces the village. Here, amidst nature and all living creatures, one can accumulate inner strength and sing of life's ideals. The Dabie Mountains, with the Yellow River to the north, the Yangtze River to the south, the Jianghuai Plain to the east, and the Pinghan Railway from Beijing to Hankou to the west, are a place of great historical significance as a revolutionary base. The local customs and traditions here remain much the same as they were in the past, with the simple villagers and warm-hearted locals still adhering to their ancestral ways. Entering the Mopanshan Memory Homestay, one can pick up the scattered fragments of the local culture and history.
