"Zhenjiang Marriott Stay: A Trip Warmed by ”Eric” My visit to Zhenjiang led me to choose the Marriott, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations, prompting me to write a heartfelt positive review. The hotel's ambiance is undeniably impressive. The lobby is grand, and I believe it might be the tallest building in Zhenjiang. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding comfortable, and the view from the window expansive. Staying there, I felt completely relaxed. While the facilities show some age, the exceptional service truly compensated for it. What truly compelled me to write this review is the service, especially from a front desk staff member named Eric. Before check-in, he proactively contacted me to inquire about my needs and arrival time, making arrangements in advance. He was enthusiastic and efficient. Upon learning it was my first time in Zhenjiang, he proactively upgraded my room – not with a perfunctory ”Let me see what I can do,” but with genuine effort to provide a better arrangement within his capabilities. The upgraded room was quieter, on a higher floor, and offered a fantastic view, making my stay exceptionally comfortable. Throughout my stay, Eric would proactively ask, ”Are you comfortable? Please let me know if you need anything.” This natural yet unobtrusive concern was perfectly balanced. Honestly, many hotel services today are ”standard but impersonal.” Heartfelt and warm service like Eric's truly enhances a trip significantly. I made sure to thank him specifically at check-out. If I return to Zhenjiang, I'll most likely choose this Marriott again – for this level of service alone, it's worth coming back to."

The pool wasn't crowded either, so we enjoyed a swim in the afternoon when it was hot, and explored the sights in the mornings and evenings. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient access to transportation around the area. Overall, it offers great value for money, and it was a very reassuring stay for a family trip. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Zhenjiang."

The only downside is that it gets very crowded on weekends and holidays, so be prepared to queue. The hotel itself is small but exquisitely designed, offering a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The prices are quite reasonable on weekdays, though they do go up during holidays. It's about a 20-minute walk to Jinshan Temple, and you can easily take a taxi or public transport to Beigu Mountain and Jiaoshan Mountain, both within a 4-kilometer radius."

"The weather was very good last weekend, so I took my parents to Zhenjiang on a whim. The hotel is located in the Yiyuan scenic area, with its own garden exterior. It is peaceful, far-reaching, and beautiful. The room was booked on short notice as the standard room was fully booked, so we booked two suites. There are two suites for my parents and me to live in. They are located at the two ends of the first floor and are quite far apart. The room is quite big, with a hall-style, neat and tidy, and the older people prefer this style. I ordered pot-covered noodles from the waiter in advance for breakfast, and the taste was good. The overall service awareness is good. A few shortcomings: 1. The biggest bug is that the hair dryer in the room is basically useless. It can only blow a little wind, and my hair basically has to be hung out to dry. Because it was already late at night, I did not report it to the front desk. I looked through the reviews of previous guests and someone had already mentioned this, which shows that it was not rectified in time, which should not happen for a room rate of 1,000 yuan; 2. The room generally looks clean and tidy, but some details are not well examined. The faucet on the sink has serious water stains, and the small box next to the TV is obviously dusty. 3. It is a very helpless thing. Maybe it is because the room is on the first floor and the humidity is very high. It is recommended to air the room in time to remove mites. For me with sensitive skin, it is very painful. It has been a week and the insect bites on my arms have not gone away. It is very itchy."

"This is hands down the best family-friendly hotel I've stayed at in Zhenjiang. The location is excellent, easy to find, right next to Beigu Mountain, and the Yangtze River is directly across the road. It's perfect for a morning or evening stroll in the summer. The hotel has a gym and a large swimming pool, but they operate on a partnership basis, so many local residents also use them. If you prefer a quiet, private swimming experience, this might not be ideal, or you could try to go during off-peak hours. The self-service laundry room on the 2nd floor is a great feature and very convenient. In the lobby on the 1st floor, there's an interactive gaming screen. I saw many kids playing on it, and we even gave it a try – it was fun! There are also free cold drinks in the lobby fridge, which were a lifesaver for cooling down after coming back from outside. The hotel's 1st-floor restaurant is also fantastic. They offer set meals, so if you're too lazy to go out, you can just eat there. The food is delicious, and I've already reviewed it separately. Of course, there were a few minor points. The beds are a bit lower than standard hotel beds, which is great for kids but might be a little difficult for older people to get up from. The doors in the twin rooms are sliding doors and quite heavy, which took some getting used to. I heard that the king rooms have bathtubs next to the bed, so I might try that next time. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for families with children or fitness enthusiasts."

Overall, it was good. The room was very clean and quiet, and the service was very attentive. On our first day, a pipe burst on the restaurant floor, making it impossible to dine there. The hotel immediately booked KFC breakfast for us, which was very thoughtful. The only downside was that the air conditioning in the room wasn't strong enough; it ran all night but never got cold.

After quite a thorough search for a B&B, I was absolutely delighted! The location is fantastic, just a three-minute walk from Xijin Ferry North Gate, and you'll pass several charming coffee shops and teahouses along the way. The small courtyard of the Xiaoshanlou Suite was a huge hit with the kids. It's also perfect for playing cards if the weather is pleasant. The room itself features one double bed and two single beds, comfortably accommodating four people. Despite the building being a century old, the renovations are excellent, and the soundproofing is surprisingly good. They even provide an electric mosquito repellent in the room, so we didn't have any issues with mosquitoes. What was even more delightful was the shower – the water pressure and temperature were excellent, far exceeding our expectations. In the evenings, the B&B also operates as a cozy, quiet bar. I particularly loved the subtle fragrance they used, and it wasn't noisy at all, which was great. Furthermore, it's incredibly convenient, being just a one-minute walk from both Yong'an Yuzhuang restaurant and Feiquan Zaocha for breakfast! The landlady was incredibly warm and helpful. My child accidentally left their watch behind, and she immediately contacted me to arrange for it to be express-shipped back. I absolutely loved my stay and have already recommended it to my colleagues! 😃😃😃

The stay experience was very satisfactory. I felt the warm and thoughtful service from the beginning of the door. The front desk was efficient and the attitude was kind, which made people relax. The room is spacious and clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the humidity and temperature are just controlled, and it is very safe to live. The sanitary details are very well done, the corners are very clean, and people feel very relieved. The hotel's environment is quiet, there is no noise at all at night, and the sleep is particularly reliable. The breakfast is rich in variety, the ingredients are fresh, the taste is very satisfactory, and the overall quality is stable online. The location is also very convenient, whether it is travel or eating is very close. Undoubtedly, Yunfeng Jiahe Hotel is the most satisfying hotel I have stayed in many hotels over the years. The hotel is in Suning Building, not far from Zhenjiang Station and Sanshan Yigudu. The booked room is on the 49th floor. It is very quiet and has a wide view. The dining near the hotel is very rich. Yong'an Road Snack Street is separated from Suning Building. The boss is very good. From the check-in to the last luggage storage after check-in to the store after check-out, the boss has given very intimate care. Thank you here. The sanitation and cleaning of the hotel room is also in place, the toiletries are high-end, and the bottled drinking water is also very sufficient (this is not possible in five-star hotels), massage chairs, refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, induction cookers, dishes and other daily necessities are all available. A large part of the pleasant experience of this trip to Zhenjiang came from the five-star experience of staying in Yunfeng Jiahe. Later, Zhenjiang will definitely choose Yunfeng Jiahe without hesitation.

Honestly this is the best hotel I stay during my whole trip in China. Once I enter the lobby to check in they serve us with a tea. One of the lady also know how to speak some English which is good for foreigners. They don't really question us that much regarding our visa like any other hotel. The lobby is also spacious and very nice interior. The room I book for 3 people is so big too it can fit for 4 people. We were given the 8th floor so we get the view of the front of Nanshan. The laundry area is really nice, everything is there! The laundry detergent, the iron. And what I like the most is they have laundry services in which the aayi will help you do your laundry and even fold them for you! 🤗 In our room we also have a sofa which is great! I also ask for a late checkout but they don't have problem with it at all. After check out they gave us another bottle of water. Overall this is the best hotel I've had so far and will definitely stay here again when I came to Zhenjiang!😍 5 STAR!!

Living on the top of the mountain is a great experience! After the tourists in the scenic spot have dispersed, they enjoy the beauty of the entire mountain top and see the sunset and sunrise. The whole process of Yidaochang is very patient and meticulous, and the chat is very pleasant. He took us to the palace at night and made a vivid and interesting explanation. The quality of sleep is also very good, I haven't slept for a long time with such a good quality. There is also a hidden advantage to live here: burn head incense! The hotel service was first-class. Before check-in, the butler, Xiao Chen, proactively contacted us to inform us of various precautions and activity arrangements. During check-in, Xiao Chen thoughtfully helped us choose a room with a good lake view. The staff were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The swimming pool was very comfortable, and the children's pool had warm water, which was great for kids to soak in. The arranged farm picking and rice cake making activities were also very fun and suitable for bringing children.

We stayed at Hantian Langyue during the May Day holiday. Both the front desk receptionist and other staff were very polite. There was a dedicated staff member who sent us reminders of routes, itineraries, and activities. They were very thoughtful. The entire hotel park environment is elegant, comfortable and pleasant. The room space is also large, and the facilities and equipment of the commercial street are also complete, which can fully meet the needs of vacation travel. The dishes in the town canteen are fresh and delicious, and the price-performance ratio is also high. My favorites are chicken feet and maoxuewang, as well as homemade steamed buns. My mother's stomach is not very good, and the steamed buns are just right. I will consider staying here again in the future!

I booked this hotel specifically for the 2-meter bed, and while I didn't pay attention to the room size, it turned out to be incredibly spacious! The windows can be opened and have screens. There were two sofas, a desk, and a chair, which was really comfortable! The location is at one of the entrances to the old street (closer to Beigu Mountain, further from Jinshan Temple). However: The exterior of the building looks a bit rundown (though Xijindu in general might have this aesthetic). The front desk area (decor-wise) felt more like a guesthouse, and I felt a bit disheartened during check-in (especially since I had initially planned to stay at Holiday Inn, and the weekday price difference wasn't significant). The sitting area is by the window, while the bed is in the middle of the room. The two areas aren't light-separated, so if someone needs darkness to sleep, the other person would have to stay in the bathroom if they're still awake. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one answered! But then again: Once the call connected, they were very quick to deliver items. They even offer late-night snacks at 9 PM (either Guogai Noodles or Tremella soup). A small bowl of Tremella soup, wrapped in cling film, was delivered and tasted quite good. Perhaps because there are many buildings, the room was pre-stocked with many chargeable items: drinks, coffee, disposable towels, underwear, and even small boxes (placed to the left of the sink). For families with children, I'd suggest putting these away beforehand.
