The Island Lodge

It’s a wonderful stylish yet cozy boutique hotel, the service is very good and the people are very friendly and welcoming and supportive. Food was very delicious. And the view over the river and the pool is so beautiful. So many nice little details. And very quiet. We would choose it for sure again if we will come back to Mekong Delta and can highly recommend it.

A wonderful boutique hotel on the bank of the Mekong River. The hospitality is at the top level, attentive and efficient. We booked transportation to/from Saigon as well as local tours through the hotel that were interesting and fun. Our guide, Khai, made the difference. Food is delicious amd served ina very nice atmosphere. The 25m pool oversees the river, is very clean and welcoming. Rooms are large and well-equipped and the bed is super comfortable. This place is one of a kind and cannot be compared with any other resort on the Mekong Delta so if you can afford then do not hesitate.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Island Lodge in April for 2 nights. The grounds were very beautiful and kept up. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating to our 3 young children. We did a tour through them, which was also quite nice, very educational and enjoyed the boating during sunset down the river. I recommend for anyone visiting the Mekong Delta to stay a couple of nights here!

If you’re lucky enough to book a few days at The Island Lodge Hotel, you’ll find that it is an oasis of peace and tranquility in the heart of the Mekong. Life is unhurried; just enjoy all that this delightful and unusual hotel has to offer. It’s pure understated luxury in every way; with spacious garden rooms, beautifully tended gardens, amazing food and the most friendly attentive staff. It’s a little gem and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

The service was exemplary. Food is usually on time, and the employees are friendly. Rooms were also very clean, and they had a pool that turns ref at nighttime. Although my stay here was short, it wad definitely a nice hotel, and I would recomend coming here. Also they made the butter round

Wonderful place to stay with staff on hand who are smiling and happy to help. We loved our stay here. Food was excellent, as was the service. We loved our garden room as well, very comfortable and well maintained.

My husband and I spent three lovely days at this peaceful lodge. The Island Lodge was beautifully appointed and perfectly located on the Mekong Delta surrounded by numerous fruit trees and flowers. The food was outstanding and the staff very kind and friendly. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxed few days in authentic Vietnam.

Gorgeous retreat along the Mekong River. We stayed in one of the garden bungalows and had such a peaceful and lovely time after our frenetic few days in Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel grounds are beautiful with wonderful landscaping of the lush, natural greenery. Breakfast is included and is taken in the open air lounge looking onto the pool and the river. The pool itself is beautiful with plenty of loungers and a good mix of sun and shade, and you can watch the Mekong River drift by as you enjoy a drink from the bar a few steps away. The staff at The Island Lodge really made the whole experience extra special - everyone was so kind and welcoming to my husband and I during our stay. Chau (the manager) was absolutely the best - she was so helpful and attentive to all of our requests, coordinating with her staff to ensure we were well taken care of the entire time. She gave us recommendations of local restaurants and some sightseeing places in My Tho, too, when we wanted to venture out, and helped arrange our transportation. The hotel is very secluded and a bit out of the way from the town and other attractions but for this kind of property I believe that is sort of the point. We chose to stay here for a few days between Ho Chi Minh and a river cruise leaving from Can Tho. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to go to the Mekong Delta area (it’s worth a stay on its own, even if you DIDN’T already plan on coming to the area)! ❤️

A real gem. The lodge was perfect in every way for us. The thoughtfully designed common areas with a lovely French/Vietnamese theme had so much attention to detail. A wonderful pool and a spacious comfortable room with everything we needed. We enjoyed wonderful breakfast and delicious dinner each day. The bike tour we did gave us a real insight into life on the delta as well as wonderful coffee, sugar cane juice and coconut - charmingly led by our guide Kha. The staff in the lodge were attentive but not fussy which really made our stay, particularly since we stayed at a quiet time.
