We travelled after more than 25 hours of flight with a child to Mekong Delta. Before that we had called the hotel by phone and made a room reserved for several days. At the arrival, the lady at the reception said that unfortunately there are only rooms with a 30% price increase and that our 9-year-old child must pay 20% of the room price again ... for what please? ! No extra bed, no larger room but request a surcharge when check in! She thought she had never offered us the cheaper prices. Therefore we wanted to talk to the general manager of the alleged 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, it was not possible as the receptionist told us. 10 minutes later, a young man met one of the managers and tried to bear the situation. In the room it smells as fungi and out of the bathroom. The carpet was crazy, flatty and smelling. From the hot tub refrigerator, the meals came to us. Our child wanted to go to the pool but the one was triste and uncared. The furniture all looked equally bad and health-hazardous. The pictures say more than a thousand words! It is definitely NO 4 star plant, service of individual employees resembles a corrupt basar market where education and courtesy do not play a great role. Sorry that you haven't yet recognized in the hotel management that hotel guests expect anything else for their money. Do not get this shit and enjoy the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.

I just spent a 3 day 2 night stay at Cuu Long Hotel in My Tho Tien Giang. I am really impressed and extremely happy because I met the friendly Tien Giang people and Cuu Long hotel is perfect according to my wish. From the staff, Reception to the Management, all are too professional, the rooms are extremely clean and make me very satisfied. The food is extremely delicious, there are only Tien Giang specialties (noodles) and European dishes, I am a chef but when I come here to eat, I feel very satisfied. If I come back, I will definitely choose Cuu Long. Best regards!

Stayed at Song Tien at My Tho on the way to other Mekong cities. It was very comfortable and excellent location right on the river front. The staff are great and Tuan on the front desk looked after us extremely well. His English is excellent Not far from the Vinh Trang temple that has nice gardens and some of the biggest Buddha statues in Vietnam The temlle dates back to about 1840 and looks almost Indian from the front. It is massive and on about 5 acres. Will stay again soon!

Gorgeous retreat along the Mekong River. We stayed in one of the garden bungalows and had such a peaceful and lovely time after our frenetic few days in Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel grounds are beautiful with wonderful landscaping of the lush, natural greenery. Breakfast is included and is taken in the open air lounge looking onto the pool and the river. The pool itself is beautiful with plenty of loungers and a good mix of sun and shade, and you can watch the Mekong River drift by as you enjoy a drink from the bar a few steps away. The staff at The Island Lodge really made the whole experience extra special - everyone was so kind and welcoming to my husband and I during our stay. Chau (the manager) was absolutely the best - she was so helpful and attentive to all of our requests, coordinating with her staff to ensure we were well taken care of the entire time. She gave us recommendations of local restaurants and some sightseeing places in My Tho, too, when we wanted to venture out, and helped arrange our transportation. The hotel is very secluded and a bit out of the way from the town and other attractions but for this kind of property I believe that is sort of the point. We chose to stay here for a few days between Ho Chi Minh and a river cruise leaving from Can Tho. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to go to the Mekong Delta area (it’s worth a stay on its own, even if you DIDN’T already plan on coming to the area)! ❤️

I am really impressed and extremely happy because I met the friendly Tien Giang people and Cuu Long hotel is perfect according to my wish. From the staff, Reception to the Management, all are too professional, the rooms are extremely clean and make me very satisfied. The food is extremely delicious, there are only Tien Giang specialties (noodles) and European dishes, I am a chef but when I come here to eat, I feel very satisfied. We travelled after more than 25 hours of flight with a child to Mekong Delta. Before that we had called the hotel by phone and made a room reserved for several days. At the arrival, the lady at the reception said that unfortunately there are only rooms with a 30% price increase and that our 9-year-old child must pay 20% of the room price again ... for what please? ! No extra bed, no larger room but request a surcharge when check in! She thought she had never offered us the cheaper prices. Therefore we wanted to talk to the general manager of the alleged 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, it was not possible as the receptionist told us. 10 minutes later, a young man met one of the managers and tried to bear the situation. In the room it smells as fungi and out of the bathroom. The carpet was crazy, flatty and smelling. From the hot tub refrigerator, the meals came to us. Our child wanted to go to the pool but the one was triste and uncared. The furniture all looked equally bad and health-hazardous. The pictures say more than a thousand words! It is definitely NO 4 star plant, service of individual employees resembles a corrupt basar market where education and courtesy do not play a great role. Sorry that you haven't yet recognized in the hotel management that hotel guests expect anything else for their money. Do not get this shit and enjoy the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.

Gorgeous retreat along the Mekong River. We stayed in one of the garden bungalows and had such a peaceful and lovely time after our frenetic few days in Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel grounds are beautiful with wonderful landscaping of the lush, natural greenery. Breakfast is included and is taken in the open air lounge looking onto the pool and the river. The pool itself is beautiful with plenty of loungers and a good mix of sun and shade, and you can watch the Mekong River drift by as you enjoy a drink from the bar a few steps away. The staff at The Island Lodge really made the whole experience extra special - everyone was so kind and welcoming to my husband and I during our stay. Chau (the manager) was absolutely the best - she was so helpful and attentive to all of our requests, coordinating with her staff to ensure we were well taken care of the entire time. She gave us recommendations of local restaurants and some sightseeing places in My Tho, too, when we wanted to venture out, and helped arrange our transportation. The hotel is very secluded and a bit out of the way from the town and other attractions but for this kind of property I believe that is sort of the point. We chose to stay here for a few days between Ho Chi Minh and a river cruise leaving from Can Tho. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to go to the Mekong Delta area (it’s worth a stay on its own, even if you DIDN’T already plan on coming to the area)! ❤️
