Das Hotel befindet sich direkt an der Ostsee und verfügt über einen Strandzugang. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit und Professionalität der Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption (meiner Anmerkung ob der Baustelle vor meinem ursprünglichen Zimmer wurde sofort Folge geleistet und ich bekam ein neues Zimmer - Upgrade). Dabei wurde ich äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt. Auch der Frühstücksservice war sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Der Wellnessbereich ist schön und modern, wobei mir der große Innenpool besonders gefallen hat. Hier kann man wirklich ein paar ”Bahnen ziehen”. Es war eine wunderbare Zeit und ich würde immer wieder buchen.

Great hotel, best location on the beach. Connection to the thermal for hotel guests very good. Very friendly staff. Breakfast does not leave any wishes open. The only critical point is the evening menu in the restaurant. This has not promised us at all and has not been in line with the standard of a five-star house. Nice surprise at Check Out, we have received a small bottle of mineral water and a house-made marble store. Thank you for a great stay with super rekreation! We are happy to come back.

The location of the house is perfect for tours to and around Lübeck. It is a little house in the years. But just that makes the charm of this accommodation. The furniture must not always be of the most noble and finest. But it should be clean. In any case, some should be done in the area of cleanness. It is not as in many reviews to read, a totally dirty house. This is absolutely not true. The cleaning crew I experienced in the house does not seem to be particularly trained, the equipment (e.g. cleaning car) misses any professionalism. My tip: with house cleaning go in self-service.... It will be paid by the satisfaction of guests in the long term. And all the Nörglers.... don't tell at check-out that everything was good to write the worst reviews then talk to the staff...you will be surprised....

Es war der zweite Aufenthalt im Hotel und es war wieder sehr schön, wenngleich auch deutlich voller als im November 2022. Lediglich das Restaurant entspricht mit den Speisen nicht meinen Erwartungen, trotz eines Wechsels der Küchenleitung. Das ist aber, und das möchte ich betonen, meine Meinung. Andere Gäste könnten das völlig anders wahrgenommen haben. Für mich war das Essen einfach fade, nahezu geschmacklos. Die Beauty-/Wellnessangebote sind gut, die Räume ausreichend groß und sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist mehr als nur reichhaltig. Die Pizzeria im Haus ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert und die Lage des Hotels ist durchaus als gut zu bezeichnen.

Great location, unfortunately renovated hotel with too many making: -rooms: lovely and selectively furnished. Art flowers, low-quality materials, armatures partly calcified, partly started. - Spa: Sauna with great view, but here, unfortunately, completely without charm furnished, too little beds, water is offered in a lot too small container and is constantly empty. Tastes also chlorine. -Bar in the roof: not even here beautiful: red light, chairs ranked together, the services are completely under-occupied. Cocktails good. -Eating in the roof: even here no friendship from the service, but these are also completely overloaded and can hardly fulfill the job. Eating only average, Sushi rather worse, steak and supplements ok, pommes oil. Emperor's smarr without taste. - Breakfast: clearly too many people for too small theater: stand long, the food offered is rich, but again offered unpleasantly. You sit with great views of the sea, but rather like in a dining room. Rise in the poils... -Spa: friendly staff, but overloaded. The peeling could not be heated, according to your own statement, because it was taken ”surprisingly”. The date was booked weeks in advance.

Jeden Samstagabend gibt es von 17:30 bis 20:30 Uhr einen Tapas-Abend im Country Hotel Timmendorfer Strand. Die Teilnahme kostet 33 Euro pro Person (2023) zuzüglich Getränken. Es gibt ein Büffet, einige warme Tapas wurden serviert. Leider gab es keine Menükarte auf der steht, welche Tapas im Laufe des Abends serviert werden, sodass es etwas schwierig ist, sich am Büffet zu bedienen, da man nicht weiß, was noch kommt. Bei meinem Besuch war das Restaurant nicht sehr voll, obwohl es Juni war und der Ort voll war. Es gab viele freie Plätze, die meisten Gäste waren wohl Hotelgäste mit Halbpension. Die Servicemitarbeiterin und ihr Kollege waren sehr nett und bemüht, auch der Koch war präsent und kontrollierte regelmäßig das Büffet und erkundigte sich, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Positiv war auch, dass alle Speisen, bis auf die Salate, beschriftet waren. Auf dem Büffet gab es eine Suppe, Salate, kalte Vorspeisen, warme Speisen und Nachtisch. Bei einigen Komponenten habe ich mich gefragt, wo der Bezug zu Spanien ist. Als Suppe gab es eine Knoblauchcremesuppe. Diese war schmackhaft, der Knoblauch war identifizierbar, aber der Geschmack von Gemüsebrühe dominierte. Das Salatbüffet war umfangreich, bestand jedoch zum Großteil aus zugekauften Fertigprodukten. Es gab drei verschiedene Blattsalate, Tomaten, Gurkenscheiben, Paprikastreifen, Mixed Pickels aus dem Glas, Kidneybohnensalat, hellen Bohnensalat (wenig Geschmack), Mozzarellakugeln, rote Bete Salat, klaren Kartoffelsalat, Karottensalat süß-sauer (lecker), Spargelsalat mit Ei (kaum Geschmack), Kürbissalat süß-sauer (schmackhaft). Bis auf die frischen Komponenten (Blattsalate, Gurke, Tomate, Paprika) waren es alles fertig gekaufte Convenience-Produkte, schade! Dazu gab es drei verschiedene Dressings (French, American und Vinaigrette), drei verschiedene Essige und Olivenöl. Außerdem gab es Baguette, Butter und sechs Dips, die mir jedoch alle nicht wirklich schmeckten (Aioli, Ajvar, Creme aus getrockneter Tomate, Zucchinicreme (geschmacksneutral), Auberginecreme (geschmacksneutral) und Guacamole). Daneben gab es Weinblätter, Oliven und Sushi-Ingwer, außerdem Puten-Käse-Wraps und vegetarische Salat-Wraps. Außerdem gab es ein kleines Käsebrett mit wenigen Trauben. Auf der anderen Seite des Büffets gab es Feta in Scheiben, Chorizo, exzellenten und hauchdünnen S*****en, kleine Silberzwiebeln in dunklem Balsamico (Keine Borretane Zwiebeln!), getrocknete Tomaten und gegrillte Zucchini mit Aioli gefüllt. Der Garnelensalat mit Karotte, Sellerie, Paprika, Gurke und Lauch in klarer Marinade war süß-sauer abgeschmeckt und sehr lecker, die Garnelen waren allerdings geschmacklich nicht sehr intensiv. Auch der Meeresfrüchtesalat war süß-sauer abgeschmeckt und mit knackigen Gemüsewürfeln und ebenfalls schmackhaft, allerdings war in beiden Salaten der Gemüseanteil sehr hoch. Das Hotel befindet sich direkt an der Ostsee und verfügt über einen Strandzugang. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit und Professionalität der Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption (meiner Anmerkung ob der Baustelle vor meinem ursprünglichen Zimmer wurde sofort Folge geleistet und ich bekam ein neues Zimmer - Upgrade). Dabei wurde ich äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt. Auch der Frühstücksservice war sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Der Wellnessbereich ist schön und modern, wobei mir der große Innenpool besonders gefallen hat. Hier kann man wirklich ein paar ”Bahnen ziehen”. Es war eine wunderbare Zeit und ich würde immer wieder buchen.
