Masseria Ayroldi

Amazing scenery, lovely staff, very clean presentation. Lovely food and very peaceful holiday. The staff were more than happy to suggest restaurants and were very knowledgeable of the local area including best places to park. There was free on-site parking and entrance only via a keypad controlled electric gate. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return.

I had the pleasure of visiting this amazing place with my family when my sister held her wedding there! incredibly beautiful place, beautiful rooms, amazing friendly staff! We will definitely go back! Highly recommend it! Just loved it!!

I stayed here with my family for my friends wedding. From start to finish they were amazing, kind, courteous and very welcoming. From the hotel cleaners to the receptionist. If you want the true Italian experience I would recommend this place. We also had a baby and they made our holiday easy, accommodating us with a baby cot. Thank you to all the staff there and we will see you again soon!

Lovely place to stay. Tranquil nice rooms comfortable bed, nice pillows. Great restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Homemade bread, delicious tomato foccacia. The staff were lovely. We had standard double room. Was a nice size with small terrace and table outside Great for a drink in the evening. Bit tricky to find but ask for their GPS directions and follow them! We didn’t at first and got lost cos Google maps directions are not correct. Also we arrived late at night but we told them in advance and they provided a light meal for us as the restaurant had closed. Great communication with the team before arrival. Was divine place to stay and hope to go back one day.

We had a wonderful time at Masseria Fortificata Ayroldi. The service from all the staff made us feel welcome & at home. Simple luxury in a historic masseria which still shows off a lot of its original features. It has been extended with a lovely & relaxing pool area. Our room was nice & comfortable & we really enjoyed the food for both breakfast & dinner. Delicious! A good base from which to explore the area - Ostuni, Alberobello & Lecce!

We chose Masseria Ayroldi as the venue for our wedding, and we are so incredibly happy we did. Over the course of a couple of years while we planned our wedding, the whole team were always so helpful and communicative and made us feel completely at ease. This was even more so over the three days we and our guests stayed at Ayroldi, where we were warmly welcomed and attended to with such care. The Masseria itself is stunning and has a feeling of complete calm (even with a wedding reception going on!), and each room is finished to a wonderful level of detail evoking the origins and story of Ayroldi. The food, prepared by one of the owners Debora, is excellent and fresh, including Ayroldi’s own produce and olive oil. Ayroldi is a short drive from Ostuni and has plenty of parking on site. The pool isn’t bad either! In short, we selected this beautiful venue and its lovely owners to host our special day and we couldn’t be happier. Whether for a short stay or something on a larger scale, Masseria Ayroldi has our most assured recommendation and heartfelt gratitude.

Attended a family wedding on the property and stayed there with my little family. Service was welcoming and friendly. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. I would recommend staying at this beautiful property.

Masseria Ayroldi is a beautiful place with so much potential. It is a family run business that treat it more like a family retreat than a business. We booked 10 months in advance so they were well aware that we were 16 people with 8 children under 14 years. It was extremely disappointing that on our arrival when the children went into the pool they were told by the owner who was standing at the bar that the children should not splash water, make noise or play with balls in the pool. The issue was that the owner’s grandchildren were in the pool splashing and playing with balls. This happened almost everyday of the 5 days we were there. When I questioned them about this, I was told they wanted the Masseria to be a more tranquil spa like environment. If this is the case, it should be advertised as a Spa. The family owners eventually warmed up to our family since we were the few people who ordered food and drinks all day. Travelling with children creates business because they are always hungry and thirsty, The Masseria is a stunning property with great facilities for families only if they were welcomed as guest. The pool is spectacular and the 5 rooms we occupied were sufficient. The owner’s daughter-in-law has an eye for business and she tried her best to be accommodating. The reception staff was excellent and helped us when possible. Not sure I’d recommend for families since guests are constantly being scrutinized by father and son. It is quite uncomfortable.

We were given room at back of Masseria with a barking dog outside our window . Not always barking but enough to be annoying . Asked to be moved but sadly request was ignored . Breakfast was pleasant but nothing special Pool area nice . A disappoin**ent.
