"It was 32 degrees Celsius, and as soon as I entered the room, the AC was blasting, and a faint, pleasant scent instantly made me feel at ease. The room size was perfect for one person. The balcony offered an unobstructed view of Qiandao Lake, which was fantastic. The room also had a screen door and a sofa. If it was too hot on the balcony, I could just sit on the sofa and enjoy the lake view – very thoughtful design! The body lotion smelled lovely. The only minor issue was that the duvet felt a bit damp, but that's common for rooms by the lake in this kind of weather. Still, it was clean; my skin is very sensitive, and unclean bedding usually makes me itchy, but I had no issues here. Breakfast was extensive, and eating while looking at the lake was wonderful. I'd definitely come back given the chance! The service was also excellent."

"As expected from a well-established Qiandao Lake hotel, the service is top-notch. They pretty much fulfill every request. The customer service, especially Lisa, was incredibly friendly and offered an amazing personalized concierge experience. The lake view is absolutely stunning, with a spacious balcony offering an unobstructed panorama. It's like a traditional ink wash painting (highly recommend seeing it on both sunny and rainy days, each has its own charm). I wouldn't really recommend the 2nd-floor Chinese restaurant, unless you're with a large group and have no other options. It's much better to walk a short distance to the neighboring town and try the local restaurants. Even though it's Hangzhou, the local Qiandao Lake cuisine is surprisingly spicy, so be mindful when ordering! ⚠️"

"My stay at the Greentown Qiandao Lake Hotel exceeded all expectations! The room service was especially heartwarming. Aunt Wang Zhufeng's cleaning was meticulous, leaving not a speck of dust even in the corners, and she thoughtfully provided extra bottled water. Aunts Wu Xiaofeng and Sun Qunying were equally enthusiastic and attentive; toiletries were delivered in less than ten minutes with a warm and professional attitude. The thoughtful service from these aunts made my trip feel incredibly welcoming and definitely deserves a five-star rating!"

"The room was decent, and the service was just okay. I couldn't reach the front desk at night, whether by the in-room phone or the number provided on Ctrip. We didn't opt for the all-inclusive package, as we felt many activities wouldn't be worth it. We chose a package that included rock climbing, but our child only got about ten seconds on the wall, while all-inclusive guests got much longer. If there's such a significant difference, it should be clearly stated in the package details; this kind of preferential treatment is quite a letdown. The location is also very remote, and pharmacies don't deliver here, which is something families traveling with children should definitely keep in mind. It was quite inconvenient."

The room was surprisingly spacious, offering a very comfortable feel. We were given a room on the 20th floor, which had an expansive view of the beautiful Qiandao Lake in the distance. A special thanks to the auntie who cleaned our room the next day – she was incredibly diligent. Breakfast was also very diverse, and my child thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time, I'd like to try a room in Building 2; I'm sure it will be even more beautiful."

"½ I stayed at the Narada Qiandao Hotel recently, and overall, the experience was solid – but with one notable letdown. The good (most things): The location is beautiful, right by Qiandao Lake. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, check-in was smooth, and the hotel grounds are well-maintained. For a relaxing getaway, the hard product delivers. The not-so-good: The hotel buffet – both breakfast and dinner – was a real miss. Yes, there's a wide variety: Chinese dishes, Western options, salads, desserts, noodles, you name it. But the quality ranged from average at best to downright poor. Verdict: I'd happily return to Narada Qiandao Hotel for the rooms, lake views, and service – but I'd skip the buffet and eat out instead."

"Overall, it was good and felt like a home away from home. There are no twin-bed rooms with full lake views, so we had to book a partial lake view room. The air conditioning in the room seemed a bit weak; even in May, we had to set it to maximum fan speed and the lowest temperature to feel comfortable. I wonder how it will cope in the peak summer. The breakfast restaurant's food quality and service need some improvement. The waitstaff looked unhappy, as if they were dreading their shift. Although the restaurant opens at 7 AM, steamed dim sum wasn't brought out until 7:20 AM. Guests who had to catch early trains couldn't enjoy hot buns and coarse grains. The coffee machine was broken, and the mini wontons were overcooked. I hope breakfast can be more diverse and less formulaic, so guests staying two nights or more can try different dishes each day."

JJOOZWAYI have always wanted to experience the beauty of Qiandao Lake. It was my birthday so I rewarded myself with a trip to Qiandao Lake. For such a leisurely vacation, the choice of homestay is so important! Yungu Songjian Homestay was planted as soon as I saw its pictures. It is surrounded by mountains and has a white two-story building. It has a unique atmosphere even on rainy days. It also has a large swimming pool. It is also very good for taking photos at night. The afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious. They can also provide full meals. They are all authentic specialties. They are delicious and tasty. The staff of the homestay are very enthusiastic. They will take the initiative to ask about your needs and everything is arranged properly! You can feel the kindness and warmth. This really gave me a great experience of the trip to Qiandao Lake!

MM27320****We booked a short honeymoon at An Lan, and it truly exceeded our expectations. I absolutely love the secluded feeling of An Lan – it's so quiet and undisturbed, allowing you to simply enjoy the picturesque scenery. The service was exceptionally good. Our room was upgraded, and housekeeping was very prompt. We also received complimentary fruits, cookies, water, and more. I must commend our butler, Stella. She was incredibly meticulous, checking in with us about our meals, daily needs, transportation, and everything in between. When she found out we were celebrating a small anniversary, she thoughtfully arranged a beautiful setup and even sent a lovely cake, which really touched me. This level of service is truly top-notch. The Chinese restaurant's food was also excellent; we chose the chopped chili fish head. And the breakfast, oh, it completely won me over! Such a variety of flavors, I ended up stuffed every single day! Aside from the slightly high prices for additional services, everything else was absolutely perfect!

GGuest UserOkay, so we went during the national holiday so I appreciate that the prices were higher than normal but I really feel like for the amount paid, it just wasn’t worth it. The room amenities were lacking and didn’t include basic things like conditioner (which were listed as included on Trip) so when we asked for some, the very lovely staff rallied to find us some small travel bottles but they weren’t great so we ended up buying our own (limited options because it’s far out). The breakfast was okay but the choice was limited and the tables were always a bit sticky and unclean- and the coffee machine was terrible... It’s a shame, the staff really were very nice and helpful but the hotel prices just don’t match what you get. The pool was closed, the bed was loud and squeaky, the tables in the room were different from the photos- balcony was half the size, sofa was stained and dirty…again not terrible but really not worth the high price paid.

AAnonymous UserAlthough the hotel is not near the central scenic area, the environment is very good, clean and hygienic, and it is very convenient to take a taxi. The hotel service is also very considerate, and the service staff are very good. Before check-in, the housekeeper Chunchun contacted and introduced the tourist attractions and transportation in advance, and reminded us to eat. The room we stayed in faced the east, with large French windows. If the weather is good, you can see the sunrise, and the night view at night is also beautiful. I especially like the hotel's gym and children's playground. The gym has a billiard table, which is great. The children's playground is very clean and new, and there are many things to play. The children like it very much and are reluctant to leave.

YYukiakaliThe hotel's location is superb, right by the central lake, making it very convenient for getting to the ferry terminal ⛵️. As a high-end resort under the Huazhu Group, it lives up to its reputation for excellence. I requested a room with a view when booking, and they thoughtfully arranged one with a partial lake view. Very considerate. The hotel is quiet and has a great ambiance. There's an outdoor swimming pool in summer, which the kids loved. The breakfast spread is also extensive. It's a fantastic place to stay when visiting Qiandao Lake.

YyadoouFor its price point, this hotel is unbeatable in Qiandao Lake. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the cleanliness is top-notch. Parking is also convenient. On the day of our stay, there was a large group, but the restaurant was very prompt in refilling food during breakfast, so we were all well-fed. The only drawback is that Qiandao Lake is quite large. If your activities aren't around Qingxi or Beer Town, it's about a dozen kilometers to the central lake area. Plus, with more traffic on holidays, travel time can be quite long.

The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed. The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety. Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for. Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding. I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully.

GGuest UserStaying at the Longting Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Right from the entrance, you're greeted by a prominent 'Lucky Horse of the Year' display and a wishing tree. Further inside, by the elevators, there's a unique gourd-shaped photo spot. Once in the room, the decor exudes a wellness vibe, complete with a massage roller and a foot massager to help you relax and de-stress. Hotel parking is also very convenient, and there's a large Intime shopping mall just a few hundred meters away. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

GGuest UserThe location was good if you are planning an early boat trip, as it is only a 2 minute walk away from the pier. But if you want to sleep in, you hear the boat horns as each one departs in the morning. Is is not walkable distance to the center, but a quick didi ride away only. My initial room that I booked (single room), despite being promoted as a non smoking room, smelled horrific when I entered. They immediately changed my room when I told them about it. The shower had mould stains, but I am assuming they might have been older stains as even my highly allergic nose did not have any trouble. I did not try the breakfast as I was looking for something with protein, but breakfast was included. I believe I saw boiled corn, steamed sweet potatoes and a type of bao bun. Not fully sure. When I had trouble renting ebikes without local ID, the staff were very helpful and spent 30 minutes handling it all for us. Was given slippers on arrival, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The room had showergel and shampoo, but no handsoap. There was a bottle of slimey something in the bathroom, maybe that was handsoap, did not want to risk it. But overall, was a nice stay.

TtaynealyPositives: 😁 This hotel 🏨 is GORGEOUS. Absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t decide which photos to use for my photoshoot because there are so many great pictures. The hotel is perfect for instagram or social media. The service 👨✈️ was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The food 🍱 was delicious! There are many different choices and set options. We especially loved the fried pork. Negatives: 😕 Location 📍you can’t hike or explore anywhere around this hotel. You are essentially stuck to this property. All activities are at least 30min-2 hour drive away. Room design 🛏️ I included this in the photos, the bed is on a wooden stand with sharp edges and it’s very easily to run into it and forget it’s there. My bf and I both hit our shins pretty hard on it, it was painful. Drinks🥂 it was my birthday and I wanted to enjoy some cocktails or champagne with this view, but you are limited to beer 🍺 only. Just bottled Budweiser and Tsingtao. Overall, I’d stay again if I wanted to relax in peace for the weekend. Bring your own alcohol.
