I'm very grateful for their help. The room itself was excellent; there was absolutely no sign of the moldy or old conditions that some negative online reviews mentioned. I'm not sure why those reviews were written that way... The power outlets even had direct USB and Type-C charging ports. The room was spacious, and having two sinks was incredibly convenient for a family stay. The hotel's location is also great. Even if you don't book breakfast, you can easily find local breakfast spots nearby. Getting to attractions in the morning is also very convenient, with taxi fares costing less than 10 yuan. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends."

"The location is superb, right in the heart of Qiandaohu Town, next to the Sheraton. The hotel faces the lake directly, offering beautiful sunset views. It's incredibly convenient to get to the pier, Tianyu Mountain, Xiushui Square, and Qilong Lane. The service was excellent. Our butler, Xiao Qian, provided impeccable service from before check-in to after check-out. She was attentive, responded quickly to our requests, and was very helpful in resolving any issues. Truly outstanding. The facilities are a bit dated, and the breakfast selection is somewhat limited. However, the complimentary set meals for lunch/dinner were incredibly generous in portion size, and we got two of them! Overall, the value for money is still exceptionally high."

"Taking advantage of the tail end of summer vacation, I brought my daughter to Qiandao Lake for a family trip. After comparing several options, I chose this hotel, and our three-day, two-night stay was perfect, truly one of the top parent-child resorts in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area. I genuinely recommend it to all parents traveling with children. The hotel's location is excellent, occupying a central lakeside peninsula of Qiandao Lake. It's surrounded by the lake on three sides, offering expansive views. From the popular photo spots on the 5th and 6th floors, you can directly face the beautiful Qiandao Lake scenery. My only regret was that since we were traveling with friends, our travel dates were set a bit last minute, and we couldn't book two lake-view twin rooms. We had to settle for two landscape-view twin rooms. I want to thank our butler, Ziva, for specifically reserving two of the largest landscape rooms for us. The children had so much space to run around; the rooms were truly super, super spacious. Next time, I might choose a lake-view room for a different experience. The hotel provides a complete set of complimentary child-friendly items: a children's toilet seat, non-slip footstool, baby toiletries, small slippers, and a bed rail. The thoughtful details exceeded our expectations. The room and bathroom were clean, tidy, and odorless, and the toiletries were high-quality – Bulgari bath products, which was a nice touch! The sheets and pillows were soft and breathable. Our butler, Ziva, even thoughtfully mentioned that if the pillows were too soft, harder ones were available, which was very considerate. After a busy day, we slept soundly, and the soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any noise from the corridor. The most amazing part was the hotel's 3,000-square-meter children's playground. This was the highlight of our trip and our favorite feature. It's incredibly spacious, and both toddlers and older children can find something fun to do. My daughter played in the ocean ball pit with the multi-story giant slide dozens of times and didn't want to leave. The dinosaur sandbox was equipped with a full set of digging tools and was clean and free of debris. There was also a carousel, a princess dress-up area, and a building block craft area where little girls could try on various princess dresses for photos. The playground is staffed by dedicated supervisors, provides free non-slip socks upon entry, and has clean restrooms and water dispensers inside, allowing parents to relax and unwind. In addition to the indoor playground, there were mini go-karts and a VR arcade on the basement level, which older children also enjoyed. On the first floor, there was also a screening room and an arcade, where I managed to win quite a few dolls for my daughter. The hotel also has large outdoor water activities and an indoor heated pool. Unfortunately, my daughter had a bit of an upset stomach before we left, so we couldn't experience them, which was a shame. Every evening at 7:30 and 8:30, there were two 88-meter-long water screen movies. The lights combined with the lake created an incredible atmosphere, and my daughter watched mesmerized. The only downside was that it was quite sweaty outdoors in the summer heat, but the good news was there were no mosquitoes. Dining was equally delightful. The hotel's buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, with a dedicated children's area featuring steamed dim sum, yogurt, cartoon-shaped pastries, and fresh squeezed juices. The ingredients were fresh, and the restaurant staff were attentive, proactively bringing baby utensils. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel's buffet Western restaurant; the dishes were fresh, complete, and the quality was top-notch. The hotel also provided discount vouchers for the buffet dinner, which saved us a good amount. It happened to be Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day) on the night we had dinner, and the hotel even gave us themed heart-shaped cakes, which was a very lovely gesture. The entire hotel staff provided warm and thoughtful service. From the front desk check-in to the cleaning staff and the playground attendants, everyone was exceptionally patient with children. They proactively gave children small gifts during check-in, greeted my daughter whenever they saw her, and never pushed any sales, maintaining just the right balance in their service. Food delivery from outside was also convenient; orders could be picked up from a designated spot in the lobby on the first floor or delivered to the room by a robot. Additionally, the hotel offered a complimentary travel photography session. The emerging travel photographers were excellent, preserving precious memories of our trip. They also offered a reasonable discount on the digital negatives when we selected our photos, which we appreciated. This trip to Qiandao Lake with my daughter, thanks to Minghao Hotel, eliminated all the usual exhaustion of traveling with children. The huge children's playground, two pools, prime lake views, thoughtful child-friendly amenities, and meticulous, warm service were all top-notch. The value for money far exceeded other resorts in the same price range. Whether for a short weekend getaway with kids or a multi-day family vacation, it's perfectly suited. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Qiandao Lake, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone! Finally, I want to thank butler Ziva again for her attentive answers before check-in and her enthusiastic and thoughtful service during our stay. "## Thousand Islands Lake: The ultimate staycation choice! Voco is truly an excellent choice, a hotel under the InterContinental umbrella, so the quality is superb. Getting to the hotel is very convenient. It's about a 25-minute taxi ride from the high-speed train station. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle bus from the high-speed train station (¥15/person) to a nearby intersection and then a connecting shuttle to the lobby. The hotel is surrounded by lake views. Rooms with balconies offer clear and beautiful scenery. (Personally, I feel that the views from the 3rd and 4th floors are better than the 1st and 2nd floors). The hotel service deserves a perfect score. The day before check-in, I received a call, and a staff member added me on WeChat. A special thank you to Selena! She introduced the hotel and provided travel tips. Any questions I had were answered very quickly! Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a robot delivering the food. Regarding the food, I only tried breakfast, and the variety was incredibly rich. From classic Western fried eggs and bacon to Chinese congee and soup dumplings, there was everything imaginable, satisfying all taste preferences. I'd also like to mention that the gym equipment is of good quality! It's more comprehensive than many other hotels."

"I stayed for one night, and didn't notice any bites after showering that day. The next morning, around 5 AM, I woke up with an itchy leg. I started scratching in a haze, and it started weeping! When I got up, I saw five welts on both legs. They were painful, very itchy, and red and swollen. I bought ointment to apply after returning to Shanghai. Today is the fourth day, and it's still not better. I want to take a picture and show you all! I'm still puzzled about what bit me. It was very swollen before I applied the ointment, and now the redness and swelling have gone down a bit, but it's still very itchy."

"Our recent family trip to Qiandao Lake, staying at the Holiday Inn Qiandao Lake, far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it for families with children! We booked two rooms, a family room and a king room, for two nights. The package included tickets to the Minghao International Hotel Water Park and playground, which made visiting them very convenient. Before checking in, we added our butler, 'Mei Yangyang,' on WeChat. We communicated online throughout our stay, and she was always quick to respond to any questions. Traveling with a baby, we contacted our butler, and she quickly arranged for a baby cot. They also thoughtfully provided an extra children's breakfast. Since our two rooms were on different floors, the butler specially activated cross-floor access for us, making it easy to go between rooms. The hotel's breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the hotel swimming pool was also available for use. Around 11 PM one night, we had a bathroom light fixture malfunction. We contacted the butler late at night, and she promptly came to fix the issue. The service was truly exceptional. Both the facilities and the butler service were very satisfying. The next time we visit Qiandao Lake, this hotel will be our top choice, and I highly recommend it to any friends vacationing in Qiandao Lake!"

"First of all, a huge thank you to our butler Suki! As a loyal Club Med fan who has visited several resorts, my biggest impression of Club Med Qiandao Lake this time was the incredibly thoughtful butler service! Everyone knows that Club Med rooms aren't their main selling point, but the facilities here are genuinely new! The room was very spacious and came equipped with smart home features. I was so lucky to get an upgrade to a lake-view room; being able to admire the stunning scenery of Qiandao Lake right from my bed was truly therapeutic! In terms of activities, this Club Med is part of the Joyview series. I didn't have high expectations before coming, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it also offers activities from the Huasheng Meidi Resort. So, in addition to Club Med's usual activities like hiking, cycling, and other sports, there's also the free No. 7 Adventure Park, Up Up Water Park, Petting Zoo, land adventures, water activities, and animal feeding. The kayaking, paddleboarding, and feeding piglets were especially popular with the kids. The dining options are abundant. In-house guests get a 10% discount on the buffet dinner, and Revival members also get a 20% discount at the bar. The food quality was consistently stable and varied, as always. I highly recommend it!"

"We stayed at the Radisson on its opening day. They even upgraded our room when we checked in, and since we had a child with us, they gave us a kids' breakfast voucher. The service was impeccable, with none of the usual chaos you'd expect from a newly opened hotel. The hotel itself was very comfortable, with a kids' club and a swimming pool, which my child absolutely loved. On the day we checked out, after we'd already returned the room, my child was still playing in the pool. Ms. Anna at the front desk thoughtfully arranged for us to use the bathroom in the yoga room for a quick shower, which was incredibly considerate. Even today, my child is still talking about wanting to stay at the Radisson again when we visit Qiandao Lake next time."

"We took our child to Qiandao Lake, and initially booked the Fairfield. To our surprise, it had issues with safety and hygiene. We reluctantly stayed one night and then decisively checked out early. We then found the Novotel, and as soon as we entered the lobby, it felt much better. It was spacious and clean, and Xiaoxiong, who checked us in, had an incredibly good attitude. The room also felt great. Xiaoxiong modestly said our room didn't have a lake view, but it actually did! Our child needed to do summer homework and check in afterward, so we asked Xiaoxiong for a chair and a lamp. She brought them very quickly. She proactively and patiently answered any questions we had – thank you! The Novotel's pool also deserves high praise. It's large and very well-maintained, clean and free of debris. The water depth is 1.5m, which is a bit deep for children, so kids who can't swim can go to the 0.5m splash area downstairs. The kids' club is also bigger than expected. Even if it rains and you can't go out, kids can play there for an hour or two and won't get bored at all. If I had to pick a flaw, it might be that the breakfast could be slightly more abundant. However, for this value for money, we really can't ask for more! (Avoid Fairfield Qiandao Lake! Influencer recommendations really aren't reliable, absolutely don't go! Unless you don't mind dirty toilets and bath mats; or your child falling off the bed in the middle of the night because the bed and frame aren't secure and slide around; or your rhinitis acting up because the pillows smell bad!)"
