"My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's environment is serene and spotless, with an elegant lobby. My room was bright and airy, decorated in a simple yet stylish way, and every corner was immaculately clean. The facilities were comprehensive: the bedding was soft, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The staff were gentle and considerate; check-in was efficient, and any requests were handled promptly. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. "The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The service was excellent, and the hotel is literally just around the corner from the border crossing, which is incredibly convenient. It's especially perfect for visiting the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway meter-gauge line. The hotel building itself boasts a French-Southeast Asian style, and the restaurant across the street, along with the Hekou Uprising Memorial Hall of the Tongmenghui, are sights in themselves. Definitely worth the trip."

There are lots of restaurants right outside the hotel, and shopping is also very easy. The front desk lady was enthusiastic and proactive with a great attitude. The hotel even has a swimming pool. The room amenities weren't fully stocked, but the overall environment is fantastic. From the room, you can see the beautiful night view of Hekou."

"Clean and comfortable for its price. Good hot shower. Convenient location not far from the border with Vietnam and very short drive away from the main bus station. There are many shops, restaurants, big supermarket, park and a lovely river promenade all around the hotel. Excellent efficient staff. The young lady at the desk answered all my questions, helped with directions, transport and even explained to the taxi driver where to take me. For me as a foreigner just having arrived to a new country, that service alone deserves the highest rating. Thank you!"

"I arrived at the room around 4 PM, and it was damp everywhere. The room was small, and the previous guest hadn't cleaned it up. They hadn't brought my toiletries; I told them to wait a bit while I was in the bathroom when I knocked, but they just barged in and pushed open the bathroom door. Luckily, I had already used them. It was a terrible experience; I'll definitely avoid this room next time."

"The home-cooked food offered looked delicious, but being vegetarian, sadly I couldn't try it. The hosts were beyond helpful, going to great lengths to help me sort out transportation problems with by ebike, after I discovered there was no luggage consignment available at Hekou North train station. They were willing to store my bike for free until I returned, but in the end managed to organise transport to Lijiang with a local logistics company which I would never have found myself, after all the major firms refused. Can't praise them enough - wonderful people."

"This hotel has relatively new facilities, and the standard rooms are quite spacious. The furniture is all carved mahogany or imitation mahogany, and the rooms are very clean. There's a garden and parking lot in front that can accommodate dozens of cars. It's also just a few dozen meters from the China-Vietnam Shopping Mall. The breakfast selection is plentiful, and the internet speed is fast. However, the showerhead is positioned too low, only about 1.1 meters."

The room was clean and tidy. A special shout-out to the bedding, which was excellent. The duvet was soft and cozy, keeping me perfectly warm without being too hot or cold. The mattress was also just right, not too soft and not too firm. The restaurant recommended by the front desk staff was delicious.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the border crossing area. From the higher-floor rooms, you can see the hotels and streets of Vietnam on the other side. There are elementary schools nearby, both downstairs and across the street, so if you're staying on a weekday, it might be a bit noisy during the day. The hotel has been around for a while, so the facilities are a bit older, but overall it's quite clean and tidy. There are many authentic local and Vietnamese food options around downstairs. It offers good value for money. There's only one elevator for all floors, so you might have to wait a bit longer for it.

The parking lot is large and you can wash your car for free. The Vietnamese workers are very dedicated and careful. The room is comfortable, the price is very good, and the boss is kind and lovely. It is worth recommending and can stay for a long time.

The room, though small, was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive. The hotel is right outside a snack street, and there's also a restaurant inside for groups traveling together, where you can enjoy a family-like atmosphere for just a tiny fee! The hotel environment is quiet, and I really liked the smart facilities, which are super convenient for lazy people like me when traveling. It's less than 500 meters from the port. It's a very clean little town. A really great travel experience.

The owner is super friendly even though she cannot speak English and I cannot speak Chinese. Once she understands what we want, she will try her best to serve. One member in our group was sick and the owner is very kind to give us ginger and honey when we ask. The room is clean and quite large for two people. It's totally enough for our group's simple style. The only disadvantage is it's not near the downtown and may take your time to find out if you do not speak Chinese. But overall for us the experience was still great because we enjoy riding electric bicycle around.

Good budget option close to the border and in ”downtown” Hekou. Nothing fancy, but room is spacious, beds are comfy and there's wifi, a tv and a kettle. Drinking water free. Downsides are that it's hard to find the hotel (not an obvious hotel reception), squatting toilet only, and no working light in the bathroom.

The room and bathroom are quite large. The WiFi works well. The remote control does not seem to be the one intended for the television. There is a kettle and we are provided with bottles of water. There is also a water bottle in the hallway. My room was cleaned quickly because there were traces left at the exit of the bathroom. You have to be athletic because my room is on the 6th floor without an elevator. It is difficult to talk to the staff who only speak Chinese even with the translation tools. But for the price it is really very good.
