"This stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient for transport. The lobby is stylish and grand, and check-in was very efficient. My room was spacious and bright, decorated in a warm and elegant style. The facilities were complete and well-maintained, feeling very new, especially the comfortable bedding, which allowed me to have a great night's sleep. The cleanliness was spotless, with attention to every detail. The staff were warm, thoughtful, and always ready to help. The overall environment was quiet, and the value for money is superb. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!"

"I was here for a trip, and the hotel is only a four to five-minute walk from the border crossing. The hotel is clean and hygienic, with spacious rooms and a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. All the facilities are very new and complete. Parking is easy, and they even gave us a free room upgrade when we checked in. I highly recommend this hotel; its high level of comfort truly enhanced our trip."

"They upgraded my room for free, and it was much larger. One of the rooms even had a direct view of the China Customs building and the Clock Tower from the window. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and professional, and they even allowed us to check in early and check out late. The hotel is a bit old, so some of the facilities are dated, but it's very clean, and the beds are spotless. There's a slight odor in the bathroom if you don't turn on the exhaust fan. The location is excellent, very close to the Customs building, and there's free parking available until 3 PM the next day. The travel agency downstairs was also great; we got our embassy visa the very next morning. It's very close to nearby attractions, and you can enjoy the scenery across the river with just a short walk. Friendly tip: When we first arrived, the Wi-Fi was constantly cutting out. A staff member came over, turned on the TV to test it, and after that, it worked perfectly without any lag. I'm not sure why, but it happened in both rooms."

"Better late than never for this review! This hotel near the border crossing is a hidden gem! The French Indochinese style is incredibly photogenic! The location is absolutely perfect. You can walk to Hekou Port, and it's super convenient to get to the China-Vietnam Bridge and Vietnam Street. Plus, there's free parking if you're driving. The bright yellow French-style building is so unique, and the vintage details in the lobby and rooms are perfectly executed. The black and white patterned tiles and louvered wooden cabinets create an amazing ambiance that's fantastic for photos. The room was clean and tidy, with soft lighting, making for a very comfortable stay. The manager's service was also very thoughtful. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations. This is my top recommendation for Hekou!"

"The hygiene, service, decor, software and hardware facilities, and toiletries were all excellent 👍. Plus, the free pick-up service was a nice touch. I think they've really put a lot of effort into doing things well. Now, about breakfast. There weren't many vegetable options to begin with, but this morning, I arrived at the restaurant at 9:15 AM and most of the stir-fries were already gone. A staff member walked by the congee section at least three times. I waited 30 minutes, and it was almost 10:00 AM, but no one refilled the dishes. At least when it comes to vegetables, they could offer more. I understand they might be trying to control costs and avoid waste if there aren't many guests, but it wouldn't hurt to add one or two more vegetable dishes, or at least proactively ask guests if they'd like more. I don't think that's unreasonable. I hope the hotel's business flourishes. Regarding breakfast, they could learn from some smaller, well-run B&Bs and chain hotels to improve in this area without causing waste. Since the hotel is ranked as a high-end establishment on various platforms, it should really live up to that name."

"Clean and comfortable for its price. Good hot shower. Convenient location not far from the border with Vietnam and very short drive away from the main bus station. There are many shops, restaurants, big supermarket, park and a lovely river promenade all around the hotel. Excellent efficient staff. The young lady at the desk answered all my questions, helped with directions, transport and even explained to the taxi driver where to take me. For me as a foreigner just having arrived to a new country, that service alone deserves the highest rating. Thank you!"

"The location is very good. It is on Vietnam Street. It is a hundred meters away from the port and the rice track. There is also an old train station and the uprising memorial. This location is very cheap and there is nothing to fault. Hot water and air conditioning are available. The room is large. The disadvantage is that there is no elevator, but for me, it is not a big problem. #Location traffic is very good, just in Vietnam Street"

"The hotel's location is quite convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the border crossing area. From the higher-floor rooms, you can see the hotels and streets of Vietnam on the other side. There are elementary schools nearby, both downstairs and across the street, so if you're staying on a weekday, it might be a bit noisy during the day. The hotel has been around for a while, so the facilities are a bit older, but overall it's quite clean and tidy. There are many authentic local and Vietnamese food options around downstairs. It offers good value for money. There's only one elevator for all floors, so you might have to wait a bit longer for it."

"Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Good. The beds at this hotel are quite good, and the interior facilities are excellent. It's a bit far from places to eat, but taxis are very affordable in Hekou. Highly recommended."
