Had a challenge trying to decide which hotel to stay in Mianyang, understanding that it is a smaller city (compared to the first-tier ones) in China and lacking in international brands. Didn't help that the first local hotel we booked in Chengdu just prior to travelling to Mianyang was a boutique hotel that... could have been better. Eventually gave a miss to the listicle on Trip for the top 4-star hotels, but went for Vienna which was in the vicinity but with a high rating (not a 4-star hotel), mostly because it didn't have the noise complaints as compared to the other hotels nearer to the train station (there's ongoing public infrastructure works ongoing in that vicinity as well). We got lucky. Because Vienna is pretty great. The hotel still feels fairly new and we got the nice spacious rooms overlooking the river. And right at the doorstep was the Wanda Plaza. which meant food, shopping and play was a stone's throw away. There isn't much facilities on offer (it's positioned as a business hotel), but we knew what we signed up for, so all was good there. Breakfast was between 7am to 10.30am and its decent enough (just make sure to go in before 10am as they won't top up the trays after). In sum, Vienna is now a local brand that I'll think of for our next forays into different cities in China.

This homestay is really comfortable. The wooden house looks at it. The old books and bamboo baskets in the house are also quite tasteful. There are lanterns hanging at the door, and it feels special to light up at night. The terrace upstairs has a good view, and it is very relaxing to sit in a daze. The window of the room is large, the sun shines directly in the morning, and the flowers and plants planted outside look good. There is also a cabin next to it, surrounded by trees, very quiet, suitable for people who want to hide. Stayed for one night, slept well, and wanted to come next time.

I had a very satisfying stay at Shunhui Century Baden Hotel. The location is excellent with convenient transportation, making it very easy to get around and find dining options nearby. The room is fully equipped with well-functioning air conditioning, bathroom fixtures, and Wi-Fi, all of which were very easy to use. The housekeeping is top-notch; the bedding, floors, and bathroom were spotless with no dead corners. Right after I finished checking in, a staff member named Zhu Chuanhua thoughtfully brought me warm milk and fresh fruit—such a heartwarming touch. The service attitude was warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. It offers great value for money, and I will definitely choose Shunhui Century Baden Hotel again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

Treasure Hotel in the city center! Smart and comfortable, preferred for traveling with a baby This stay experience is really awesome, you must give the hotel a big praise! First of all, the room is very quiet and comfortable, and the sanitary details are also very clean, which makes people relax as soon as they enter the door. The most pleasant surprise is the intelligent control of the whole house. You have to call ”small degree small degree”. The lights, curtains, and air conditioners can be done by voice. The sense of technology is full and very convenient! The bedding is also super comfortable, moderately soft and hard, sleeps particularly well, sleeps until dawn, and rests very well. Hotel location is not to say, just in the city center, travel is super convenient. Next to it is the CapitaLand shopping mall, eating, drinking and having fun. Adults can hang out, drink milk tea coffee, Chinese and Western food, no worries about what to eat. There is no need to worry about bringing a baby. There are many places for children to play nearby, so you can walk the baby all day easily. In addition, there are three buffets on the 5th floor of the hotel, which are rich in choices and taste very good. When checking out, the front desk manager and sweet service were very good, warm and thoughtful, and gave the children a souvenir. Overall, in this location in the city center, the price is really high! I will choose here next time, I highly recommend it to all friends ～🌟

Celebrity Youngsun Hotel is a smaller sister hotel attached to the more premium Xinhua Hotel. Xinhua Hotel appears to be the main business while Celebrity Youngsun is the cheaper stay located in an inconvenient to access annexe building quite a walk away from the reception. Further, the annexe building itself has narrow stairs and corridors, no elevators provided (really troublesome if you have luggage) and the corridors and stairs are poorly lit and rather dark and a bit spooky for the faint of heart. Location thus gets a low score as the only plus point is that it is close to several bus stops and not too far from the Yuewang Tower. Amenities are decent and free breakfast is included in the stay with a decent spread provided. The hotel also has a rather popular restaurant, but as there was an event going on, did not have a chance to dine there.

Hotel location is very good, there is a street opposite. Free parking is available, breakfast is also included, breakfast has crisp and refreshing cucumbers, fried dumplings, etc., but also compared to the meal, the front desk lady is also very enthusiastic.

The room is not big, it may be because of the top floor, the air conditioning effect is not very good, the pick-up service is very good, the hot pot restaurant introduced at the front desk is quite delicious 😋

The hotel stayed on a business trip, the overall satisfaction. The environment is quiet and not noisy, the room is hygienic and there are no dead ends, and the bed is very comfortable. The front desk service is professional and efficient, the supporting facilities are perfect, the surrounding transportation is convenient, the travel is time-saving and labor-saving, the overall clean and worry-free, and the first choice for business travel. The staff is kind, the surrounding area is convenient for eating, drinking and playing, the environment is quiet, the lobby also provides iced mung bean soup, very good, live comfortably, the whole family is very satisfied, recommend family travel.

What is more heartwarming is the enthusiasm of the boss, from check-in to departure, the whole process is particularly thoughtful. Take the initiative to help with the luggage, come back at night and smile and say hello to ask how the stay is, that kind of intimacy is like going to a friend's house, and the room change in the middle is also very straightforward. The room was clean and tidy, and the stay was very safe. Overall, the environment is extra points, the service is extra points, I will definitely choose this one next time I come here.

This is definitely the hotel for me once i return to Manyang City for official matters... Sinwell Hotel is conveniently & strategically located directly opposite to the MIANYANG Train Station where we are deployed to this beautiful City! Food is fabulous surrounding the hotel & there is a huge shopping mall nearby with many convenience for all... Hotel staffs were friendly & rooms are clean and tidy... very quiet hotel for a good night's rest! Definite recommend ALL to this hotel!
