"Lovely stay at this hotel. The room was very big and comfortable, although the walls are a little thin so can clearly hear people talking. For pet owners: note that the Laomendong pedestrian street is not pet friendly (even though there was no sign at the street that we walked through) but the area behind the hotel was lovely and quiet and great to walk the dog. We could also walk past the old city walls which was beautiful. Parking is nearby and quite convenient."

"This place is perfect for business trips! It's quiet, spacious, and super close to the high-speed rail station. Plus, they offer coffee and late-night snacks, which is a lifesaver for us workers, haha. I think it'd be great for tourists too, because the rooms are genuinely huge and have everything you need. "The hotel is located on a pedestrian street, so if you're arriving by car, you'll need to get off at the street entrance and walk 100-200 meters to reach it. The hotel spans both sides of the pedestrian street, making it easy to find. The hotel is housed in an antique building. Given its age, some of the facilities are a bit old, but it's still well-maintained. I really liked the vintage decor in the room. From my room, I could see the Qinhuai River and watch boats pass by. The hotel is conveniently located near attractions like the Confucius Temple and boat tours. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but still manageable. The staff provided excellent service. It's definitely worth experiencing."

The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of the Xinjiekou business district. Step downstairs and you're surrounded by major shopping malls and snack shops. It's also within walking distance of popular attractions like Deji Plaza, Fuzimiao, and Laomendong, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. We saved so much travel time, which gave us more energy for our trip. Our 'Cloud' room type offered breathtaking views. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided a full panoramic view of Nanjing's bustling nightscape. In the evening, as the city lights came on, leaning by the window with my partner to watch the city glow created such a magical atmosphere. The photos we took turned out amazing, and it truly amplified the romance for a couple's getaway. The room's cleanliness was impeccable. The entire room was spotless, the bedding was soft and clean, and the bathroom was perfectly dry with no standing water. The vanity was free of water stains, and there was no dust in any corners. The toiletries were high-quality, and the towels and bath towels were fluffy, dry, and completely odor-free. It's clear the housekeeping team puts in a lot of effort, making our stay both reassuring and comfortable. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and after a long day, lying down instantly melted away our fatigue. The air conditioning, smart lighting, and audiovisual equipment all worked flawlessly. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and a stable, continuous hot water supply. The soundproofing throughout the room was fantastic; despite being in the city center, we couldn't hear any street noise, ensuring a very peaceful night's rest. The public areas are elegantly and tastefully decorated. There was never a long wait for the elevators, and the lobby had a luxurious ambiance with thoughtful designs everywhere. The staff's service was an added bonus. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were gentle and patient. "The hotel environment is fantastic, transformed from a Republican-era building, which gives it a wonderful feel and really shows the designer's thoughtful touches. There are many large trees and plants throughout the hotel, creating a great resort-like atmosphere. The rooms are spacious with large windows, offering excellent natural light that brightens your mood. The hotel's breakfast buffet is impressive, especially the douhua (tofu pudding) which you can customize with your own toppings – the savory version is delicious! The fruit and vegetable selection is abundant, and having a bowl of duck blood vermicelli soup each morning is the perfect start to the day. The laundry room has two washers and two dryers. You can even check their real-time status on the hotel TV, which is very convenient. Rooms with a small garden are even more comfortable; you can do some stretches in the morning. While there's no gym, it's not a big issue. You can easily go for a run nearby, as the hotel is located right in the Zhongshan Scenic Area. A short jog uphill will take you to Entrance No. 5 of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Rooms are equipped with smart voice control for opening curtains, turning on lights, the TV, and air conditioning. The only slightly less intelligent aspect is the light control. If you turn on the bathroom light when getting up at night, it also switches on two other lights in the room. And it seems there's no physical switch to turn those two off; you have to reach for the smart device by the bedside to switch to sleep mode. The rose black tea bags in the room are delicious, and the mini-fridge is restocked daily with complimentary drinks like Sprite, Coke, and soda – a definite plus! Milk's service was excellent, five-star worthy! The hotel offers great value for money, and every staff member is very welcoming."
