NVS CGTEverything was good about this hotel. They serve fresh homemade bread every day — and it's free! The amenities were great, including a stove so we could cook. The only thing I think could be improved is the host’s friendliness. I only got to speak with him during check-in. Every day when we bumped into him, he seemed to avoid speaking with me. It would have been a perfect score if the host had been more friendly and made us feel welcome at the guesthouse.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station, which made traveling around really easy. One of the best parts was the stunning view of Mount Fuji — you can see it clearly right from the hotel, especially on a clear day.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and they could communicate well in English, which made everything smooth and comfortable. Overall, it’s a perfect choice if you’re looking for a convenient place with an amazing Fuji view.

Guest UserExcellent cabins. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's located right next to the train station, so you can hear the trains, but it didn't bother us. However, it's something to consider if peace and quiet are important to you. There's a beautiful view of Fuji. And the blankets were amazing!!! The best we've encountered in Japan :)

This hotel is super good. You can barbecue and cook by yourself. There is also a place to take a hot spring bath. The house is large and the facilities are complete. The price is reasonable. Next time my family comes to Mount Fuji, I will choose here again.

Mark PuskoGood - The cabins are well insulated for weather & noise. Well appointed with pyjamas, towels, various bathroom supplies (extra can be obtained from snack room) complimentary noodles or frozen meals & bottled water/beer. The beds were soft & comfortable. The cabins were spotless.Equiped with a/c, air purifier & fan heater. In a quiet area of the neighbourhood. Great view of Mt Fuji from the rooftop balcony. Short walk to restaurants & 7/11.
Average - I had difficulty completing the pre arrival registration however the staff quickly responded to emails helping me through the process. There are e-bikes & scooters for hire onsite. But you must have access to a Japanese phone number to register the app to hire them. Tourist Sim & pocket wifi don't allow a phone number it is data only.
Bad - it is further away from the train station than shown on Google maps - allow 1.6klm to either Fujisan or Fuji-Q stations. The carpark is dirt. The cars or wind make a lot of dust. When raining or wet the dirt turns muddy making your shoes & suitcase dirty.

This hotel is amazing, it didn’t even mention online that it has an Onsen and some of the rooms have a perfect view of Mount Fuji.
There is only 10 minute walk to Fuji-Q highland although unfortunately the weather was so bad we couldn’t see Mount Fuji or anything for that matter, and also could not go to Fuji-Q Highland because of the weather.
With that said the hotel does not make the weather, it is pretty convenient, although the walk may be a bit far for older persons.
Thankyou very much for our stay, we will return in 2028 as our trip to Japan has been so good that we are planning our return already. Hopefully we can do the stuff we missed out on this time.

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space.
That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total.
There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily.
Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30.
Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving.
Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

Staying at this resort was a truly relaxing experience. The peaceful and quiet surroundings, combined with the beautiful view of Mount Fuji, made it unforgettable. The highlight was soaking in the hot spring while looking out at the mountain — it was incredibly calming and special.
The resort itself is small and a bit old, but it has a cozy and tranquil atmosphere that adds to its charm. If you are looking for a place to unwind away from the busy city, this is a great choice.
I would especially recommend it for families who want to spend quality time together in a serene environment.

The room is pretty standard for a guesthouse. The layout of the room I booked wasn't ideal, with the head of the bed facing the toilet. However, the bed faced a balcony with a large marble bathtub, which was quite fun to fill yourself for a soak. There was also a shower that sprayed like rain, and cherry blossoms and leaves would occasionally fall from the tree overhead, along with a few bugs – understandable, given its location at the foot of the mountain. Overall, it was decent. But the soundproofing was terrible; the snoring from both neighboring rooms created a symphony! What’s more, the clothes from the washing machine still smelled like poop. I ended up using the marble bathtub for washing and drying clothes, which was a novel experience, to say the least. It’s more of a guesthouse than a hotel. Be cautious about using the 600 yen laundry and drying service, because, well, it might smell like poop…

Many people criticize this B&B, so I'll say a few fair words. First of all, the landlord is an auntie who speaks a little English but not Chinese. She chatted with me in English when I checked in. Because it's a homestay, there are many rules, such as no smoking, throwing towels in a bamboo basket after taking a shower, trying to be quiet after 11pm, washing dishes after breakfast, etc. I live with my son, and these rules are not a big problem for us, so I feel good overall. And because I checked in before 8pm, the landlord sent breakfast, including bread, fried eggs, grilled sausage, and salad, which tasted really good.
