"The hotel is about 300 meters on foot from Imai-hama Kaigan Station, but it's not recommended for travelers with luggage as there's no elevator at this station. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Kawazu Station, so be sure to check the schedule. I strongly advise against booking dinner with your stay, especially during the evening cherry blossom illumination. The hotel provides a shuttle service to Kawazu Station from 7 PM to 8:20 PM, which largely overlaps with dinner times."

"Это очень хороший рекан с вкусной едой и прекрасными приватными онсенами. Онсенов 2, я успела и вечером несколько раз там побыть, и утром полежала в горячем источнике. Очень все понятно объяснили сразу, когда я приехала, где что находится и как пользоваться. Онсены называли bathroom. Номер хорошо обогревается кондиционером. Мне бесплатно повысили категорию номера до вида на море. Очень приятно было пить чай на балконе и смотреть на море и горы. Столовая, где утром завтрак, тоже отличается прекрасным видом. До цветения в кавадзу можно дойти за 20 минут по красивой дороге."

"Facilities: There were only two air coolers and two electric fans. If you're sensitive to heat, it might feel a bit warm in the summer. My friend found it just right, but I thought it was a little warm before falling asleep at night. However, it's designed to be a traditional Japanese folk house, so there are fewer appliances. There's a hairdryer, Wi-Fi, and a TV, but no washing machine or refrigerator. They provided a bucket of ice water in the room, which was a nice touch. Cleanliness: Super, super, super clean. The tatami mats were even covered with disposable sheets. Although there's a lot of vegetation outside, there were no mosquitoes inside. They had mugwort incense and electric mosquito repellents, but no strange smells in the room. Environment: The biggest and most anticipated highlight was the hot spring. There are indeed outdoor and indoor private hot springs, but I absolutely dared not go out at night. Because it was dark outside and bright inside, it attracted many moths. On the first night, moths kept banging against the window, so the door to the outdoor private hot spring remained closed. The bathroom private hot spring also had flowing water, but there were small flying insects when showering at night. Plus, there was no elevated spot to hang the showerhead. Service: The housekeeper grandma provided excellent service. She showed us around and introduced the entire room. There's also a free breakfast service, and they'll ask if you need it upon check-in. Finally, they charged a tax upon check-out."

"Ocean view, hot springs, guest rooms, kaiseki dinner, breakfast, and even yukatas, it was a great trip! The comfortable and quiet atmosphere made me heal~ My whole family was satisfied, so we decided to come here again next time! I plan to stay for 2 nights on my next trip^^ I think the coastal road drive will be a memorable one!"

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Ittouan. The experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They noticed us from far away and immediately came to help carry our luggage. One of the staff members, a lovely young lady who spoke excellent English, was especially helpful and made communication very easy. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but I would like to thank her again. We booked both dinner and breakfast, and the meals were fantastic. The ingredients were very fresh and the variety was impressive. Every dish was different and beautifully prepared. However, for two women like us, the portions were honestly quite generous — even sharing one meal between two people might have been enough! The location is excellent. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Kawazu Station, which makes it extremely convenient for visiting the Kawazu cherry blossoms. It is also very close to the beautiful coastline, so the surroundings are lovely. Our room had a private onsen bath where we could soak while enjoying the view of cherry blossoms, which was a truly special experience. There is also a larger private bath available by reservation (free of charge). We also tried the hot stone spa, which was incredibly effective in relieving the fatigue after my marathon. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would love to come back again in the future, hopefully with my family. 一灯庵で本当に素晴らしい滞在をさせていただきました。最初から最後までとても心温まる体験でした。 到着したとき、スタッフの皆さまは遠くから私たちに気づいてくださり、すぐに荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくださいました。その心遣いにとても感動しました。特に英語がとても上手な可愛らしい女性スタッフの方がいらっしゃって、丁寧に対応してくださり安心して滞在することができました。残念ながらお名前を伺うのを忘れてしまいましたが、この場を借りて改めて感謝をお伝えしたいです。 夕食と朝食の両方をお願いしましたが、お料理はどれも本当に素晴らしかったです。食材はとても新鮮で、品数も多く、一つ一つ丁寧に作られているのが伝わってきました。すべて違う料理で楽しませていただきました。ただ、私たち二人（女性）には少し量が多く、とても贅沢なボリュームでした。 立地もとても良く、河津駅まで無料の送迎があるので河津桜を見に行くのにもとても便利でした。また、美しい海岸も近く、散歩するだけでもとても気持ちの良い場所でした。 お部屋の温泉では桜を眺めながらゆっくり入ることができ、とても特別な時間を過ごすことができました。また、無料で予約できる貸切風呂もあり、温泉を存分に楽しめました。さらにホットストーンスパも利用しましたが、マラソンを走った後の疲れが本当に和らぎ、とてもリラックスできました。 スタッフの皆さまの温かいおもてなしのおかげで、忘れられない滞在になりました。ぜひまた家族と一緒に訪れたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。"

"In fact, it is a very unique hotel, suitable for backpackers. It is better to call it a hotel than a B&B. You can feel the concept that the proprietress wants to create, but the accommodation is actually not very convenient. The room is for sleeping only, the bathroom is shared, and you need to go to the shared bathroom to take a shower. For traveling alone, nothing. You can also get to know tourists from various countries. The location is far from the station, but it is close to the sea and you can feel the tranquility in the mountains very well. Maybe it was a bad season and the area was very quiet. This B&B should be very busy in autumn and winter."

"This is a bit worn out and simple hotel. The best things were the extremely friendly and helpful staff, as well as the super delicious dinner & breakfast that was included in the price. I ate maybe the most delicious croissant ever here. The variety and the quality of food was great. Things to improve are  the facilities, especially the onsen. It’s very small but more importantly, it wasn’t well maintained and there was no emergency button. When my mom felt like fainting, it wasn’t possible to call for help.  Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, good stay."

"The staff are very polite and always willing to help. The room is big and comfortable. The sound-proof work is also effective, so I hardly hear any noise from rooms nearby. However, note that the hotel is in the middle of a mountain. If you don’t drive, you have to rely on the car service which the hotel offers (free of charge but not always available). It is almost impossible to go by foot. However, I must say the hotel staff has always tried their best to cater your needs, which I appreicate very much."

"Take the elderly to see the Kawaji Sakura, which is just in full bloom in mid-February. Very happy. There is a bus to the hotel at the bus stop near Hejin Station. At the information desk, we showed the hotel address, and the uncle staff instructed to get off at the ”Ciyanyuanqian” stop, which is the opposite! It is also convenient (note that the bus schedule is very sparse, the journey takes about 20 minutes, and the fare is 400 yen per person). On the return trip, the hotel has a free car to take us away. The environment of the hotel is elegant and clean, and the dinner and breakfast are all right. There is night cherry during the check-in period, and the hotel has a free car arrangement after dinner (not to imagine China and the United States, it is a pity not to see it). The hotel has to take the stairs and the bathroom is outside the room, so the elderly should pay attention! Overall satisfactory."
