"First time in Toyama and it was fantastic, I'll definitely be back. The hotel was great in every aspect. The window view from the hallway was stunning, and it's super close to the station, making getting around really convenient. The staff were excellent, and the lobby was spacious and clean with a comfortable lounge area. They even offer free sake tasting and have a coffee machine. But the absolute best was the matcha – it was incredibly rich and aromatic! The room facilities were in perfect condition and spotlessly clean."

"Came here to relax with the natural hot spring that Toyama is famous for. The waters here are dark brown like soya sauce. The public bath has several baths including one that is outdoor. There are ample lockers, dressing tables and shower berths. The laundry room is inside the public bath area. They are separate machines from the dryer. While the washing machines are free, it costs money to use the dryer. The shower cubicle in the hotel room has no shower rail to hang laundry to dry. The double bed room has a private cypress wood bath tub. It felt good to soak in onsen water in the morning before breakfast. It’s deep enough for someone tall to sit in. A short walk away is the tram stop. A free tram ride coupon can be obtained from the front desk for international tourists."

"Location is great! Near shopping centres and train station. Drive to Kanazawa and Tateyama is easy too. Car park needs to be booked in advance (need to pay, ¥1000 a night if I don't recall wrongly). Cleanliness is great. Aisle abit narrow for luggage to open. Smoking room in the hotel itself, easy for smokers. Nice tasting Kurobe water provided at the room level. Great touch there! Enjoyed our stay, thank you!"

They were consistently professional, polite, and went out of their way to be helpful. Whether it was handling check-in or assisting with local inquiries, their hospitality made me feel truly welcome. ### Room & Amenities The accommodations exceeded my expectations: * **Cleanliness:** The room was spotless and maintained to a very high standard throughout my stay. * **Space:** Unlike many city hotels in Japan, the room felt notably spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and manage luggage. * **Amenities:** Everything you could possibly need was provided. The amenities were thoughtful and complete, ensuring a ”home away from home” feel. ### Unbeatable Location The location is perhaps the hotel's strongest selling point: * **Transport:** It is situated **directly next to Toyama Station**, making it the perfect base for exploring the region or catching the Shinkansen. * **Convenience:** The hotel sits right above a vibrant **shopping mall**. * **Dining:** You are spoiled for choice with **numerous eateries** located just floors below the hotel, offering everything from quick bites to authentic local cuisine. **Verdict:** If you are visiting Toyama, stay here. "Quite a walk from the station but manageable. My only complaint is that the vending machine floor was in the smoking floor so you'll smell cigarette smoke. Cigarette smoke can also be smelled from the elevator. Staff were friendly, yes. I guess cleanliness in terms of the smell should be improved."

"The hotel is conveniently located near Toyama Station. Downstairs, there's a Japanese restaurant and a sushi place, but unfortunately, neither accepts reservations, so you have to queue. There's also a convenience store on the first floor. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can pick up toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, skincare, tea bags, drip coffee, and bath salts – a really good selection. You need your room card to access the elevators. The room itself is a bit small but quite new, and the layout is pretty efficient. My only complaint is the narrow and long entryway; with a 24-inch suitcase open, only one person can pass through at a time. It would be perfect if that hallway were a bit wider. The bathroom gets a huge thumbs-up! It's spacious, with a separate bathtub and shower, and the shower floor dries very quickly. For room cleaning, you need to put a sign on your door. If you only need fresh towels and trash emptied, you can leave them outside your door in the morning, and they'll hang new ones on the doorknob. They provide two bottles of water daily. Toyama Castle and the 'most beautiful Starbucks' are both within walking distance."

From the environment and service to the cleanliness, everything was absolutely satisfying, making me feel right at home. It's excellent value for money and totally worth it. "I was given a standard single room, but due to hotel circumstances it became a semi-double room! It was spacious, had a sofa, and there was space to store things, which I appreciated. It was very clean. Thank you so much for disposing of the small amount of trash when I collected my luggage after checking out!"

"The front desk staff were super friendly! I accidentally booked a smoking room, but they kindly helped me switch to a non-smoking one. They offer free ramen in the evenings, and there's complimentary whiskey, red wine, and ice cream in the lobby – I couldn't resist having ice cream twice, haha. The location is really convenient; Toyama isn't very big, so you can easily walk to a few famous attractions. If you're visiting Toyama Castle, definitely pop over to the city hall's observation deck for a panoramic view of Toyama, the distant snow-capped mountains are absolutely stunning."
