Some reviews were disappointing about the lake view, but the view of the mountains behind us and the quiet surrounding roads gave us the feeling of being in a quiet rural village. The bakery on the first floor offers a 50% discount after 6 p.m., and the bread was delicious and reasonably priced, making it a satisfying breakfast. The location was also convenient, with a Starbucks nearby and close proximity to Andong Hahoe Folk Village. I would definitely return if I get the chance."

"We absolutely loved this hotel! The minimalist design, attention to detail, and overall atmosphere are amazing. Everything feels modern, comfortable, and well thought out. The beds were super comfortable, and we loved all the smart technology in the room, like the intelligent closet that refreshes and cares for your clothes. The upstairs lounge was one of our favourite parts, we spent some afternoons working there and evenings having dinner. It’s such a cozy space with great music and beautiful design. The laundry facilities are also excellent, which is great for longer stays. The location is good, and the coffee was delicious. The breakfast was nice, although adding some variety for guests staying multiple nights would be a great improvement. It would also be nice to have some tea options like black or green tea. Overall, a stylish, comfortable hotel with amazing attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I visited with my family as part of a trip to Andong, as I had plans nearby. Overall, I got the impression that this place has quite distinct pros and cons. **Pros** 1. The location is truly outstanding. Most major tourist attractions, such as Galbi Alley, Mammoth Bakery, Jjimdak Alley, and Talchum Park, are within a 10-minute walk. It is convenient to return after a casual drink in the evening, and the route is easy as there are famous salted mackerel restaurants nearby. It is also great for taking a walk or a light run in the morning while admiring the cherry blossoms near Talchum Park. 2. Breakfast is provided free of charge (08:00–10:00). It includes bread, yogurt, cereal, and coffee, which is sufficient for a simple meal. However, it felt like water and coffee were provided on a limited basis according to the number of guests, so it was somewhat disappointing for a leisurely stay. 3. The amenities are relatively well-equipped. Most basic items, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, cleansing foam, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion, are provided, so you do not need to pack a lot of luggage. Disadvantages My initial impression was positive, as the room looked neat on the outside and offered many amenities. However, upon actually using it, I felt that the quality of each element was slightly lacking. 1. Styler It was provided, so I looked forward to using it, but it did not work and an error occurred. Consequently, I was unable to use it. 2. Electric Blanket Despite booking a twin room, the electric blanket was installed on only one of the beds. I was left with a sense of disappointment, wondering if it would not have been more natural for two people to be assigned the same conditions for each bed, given the room configuration. 3. Room Cleaning Before Checkout This was the most disconcerting part. The room was cleaned while I briefly stepped away for breakfast before checkout time (11:00). I was quite surprised to find signs that someone had been there when I returned, and I also felt uneasy because my personal belongings had been left untouched. Furthermore, it was unclear whether the bedding had been replaced in such a short time or if it was merely a simple cleaning, raising questions regarding hygiene. Above all, the fact that the cleaning was carried out while I still had time remaining felt somewhat hasty, and as a guest, it was an uncomfortable experience. While the good location and basic conveniences are certainly advantages, the attention to detail in the actual usage process seems to need a bit more improvement."

"Really convenient to be near lots of restaurants, there is a really good bakery cafe in the same building & coupons for the bar across the road. Breakfast included in the stay is basic with eggs, toast and fried rice. There is juice but no coffee. Rooms are huge as is the bath. Only minor thing was the light switches are meant to be remote controlled but that didn’t work so you have to manually go to the switches on the wall near the door. Would stay again."

"The room is quite small, but very cozy and clean. There is everything you need (hygiene products, robes, slippers, hair dryer, hair straightener, refrigerator, TV, computer). Friendly staff, you can drink coffee and have a snack in the lobby. The price for the room is very affordable. The only minus is the air conditioner opposite the bed."

"The best hotel we stayed in Korea! Very psychic, very comfortable. Sleeping on foot was comfortable, except the pillow is a little unusual. Otherwise everything is super! The location is just beautiful - around the forest, traditional houses and very close to the river and park. Very delicious and saturated breakfast. If you are so harsh and call people ”bad people” to their faces just because they are noisy, shouldn't you just stop doing business? "Open the door and you'll find yourself right at the convenience store. Galbi Alley is 30 seconds away, Iljik Restaurant (a famous braised mackerel restaurant) is a 2-minute walk away, and Mammoth Bakery is a 3-minute walk down another street. It's all right around the corner. It's the coldest day of the winter, but the heating is so good that the floors are toasty. Yesterday, when I slept in a hanok, it was so cold I had to wear a mask, but the heating at the Koryo Hotel is fantastic. The bathtub is large, and there's a seat inside, which is convenient for washing up. It's an older building, but it's spacious and well-cleaned. The sheets are crisp and clean, which is nice."

While the accessibility to Andong's major hotspots was excellent, the rooms were quiet and cozy, so I was very satisfied with my stay."
