"This hotel is absolutely stunning! As soon as I entered the lobby, I was blown away by the distant ocean view. The lobby is airy and comfortable, with relaxing percussion music playing. The Manja restaurant offers delicious food, but I found the ambiance at UMA to be the best and most comfortable. The swings and daybeds on the public beach are incredibly cozy and perfect for photos. The pool is a huge bonus! Even though my stay was short, it was incredibly pleasant. The staff are all very friendly and polite, greeting everyone they meet. Buggies were provided for luggage transport during both check-in and check-out. Shevyl at the front desk was particularly kind and enthusiastic. However, we arrived too early to check in, and by the time it was possible, the front desk staff had changed. Perhaps because of this, we weren't given a hotel tour, which I noticed other guests received upon checking in. We also weren't informed that we could request a packed breakfast from the front desk if we were going on an island hopping tour the next day."

"The hotel is great and very clean. We stayed in a ground floor sea view room, and you could see the sea right from the door. The food at the restaurant was pretty good too, and I think it's reasonably priced compared to Manila. The service charge is based on how much you spend. I ordered a watermelon juice that tasted like cockroaches – you should really pay attention when you're eating, especially for kids. I ordered it for my child, who is too young (3 years old) to taste the cockroach flavor. I took a sip and only then realized it. Thankfully, I stopped her in time, otherwise, there definitely would have been a problem. Since every restaurant is the same, you can't expect it to be as clean as your own home; you can't guarantee everything is spotless, so just be mindful. This hotel is good, and I personally think it's very suitable for a vacation with children because it has its own beach. The weather was sunny and beautiful, perfect for photos too."

"Our stay at Only Seed Resort was truly delightful. One of the standout features was the large pool—spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxation. It really makes an impression and greatly enhances the overall experience.
What made our visit even better was the excellent service. The manager Reya and her team, Trisy, Judy, Tresa, Lira, and Caty, were incredibly attentive, friendly, and caring. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was comfortable.

"Let's start with the downsides:
1. My room, number 5, had a broken toilet flush button. It's too old and needs replacing.
2. The shower had unstable hot water in the morning, and the water pressure was uneven. It's also too old and needs replacing.
3. There were ants crawling up from the sink. Every time I left the room, I'd close the drain cover and block their path with water.
4. The refrigerator was out of order.
5. The bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on; it was saggy and offered no support. Extremely uncomfortable.
6. The hotel is located near a residential area, so rooster crowing every morning affected my sleep somewhat.
7. The music played in the resort grounds started too early in the morning and ended too late at night.
8. The entire Panglao Island, and perhaps even all rural areas in the Philippines, seems to have a habit of burning trash, so you'd occasionally smell smoke.
Now for the positives:
1. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly; they'd greet me every time I passed the front desk.
2. The resort grounds were beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The linens were also very clean.
3. The air conditioning worked great for dehumidifying and cooling.
4. The curtains provided excellent blackout.
5. It's very close to the beach, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's a quiet location despite being close to amenities, away from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas.
Overall: Outdated facilities are the biggest problem with this hotel, and it requires a large-scale upgrade and renovation."

Yyichen1203We had a pleasant stay at Henann Premier Coast Resort and truly appreciated the hospitality throughout our visit. One thing that stood out was how welcoming and friendly the staff were — every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable during our stay.
We also arranged the hotel’s transfer service between the seaport and hotel. Although the price is charged per person and may feel slightly expensive, the service quality definitely made it worthwhile, especially after a tiring journey. Special thanks to Garry for the warm welcome and assistance. I didn’t manage to catch the names of the other staff members, but everyone at the lobby area was very accommodating and professional.
The hotel itself is in a strategic location, directly in front of Alona Beach, making it very convenient for travelers. The facilities were great as well — we especially loved the beautiful pools, including the rooftop sky pool with a stunning sunset view.
Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and we particularly enjoyed the salad section. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and suitable for a relaxing stay.
Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend Henann for its hospitality, facilities, and convenient location.

JJACKY SHEN NTWThis was our third hotel during our Bohol vacation, and I'm incredibly satisfied with the overall experience. The hotel environment is impeccable; the views and ambiance are absolutely stunning. Both the pool area and the garden landscaping are perfect for photos.
The location is also super convenient, very close to the beach, so you can easily go for a walk or dip your toes in the ocean anytime. I particularly liked the room layout; you open the balcony door and there's the pool right there. Just note that it's a shared pool.
The hotel gets a lot of guests, so there are many people staying here. They do a room check upon check-out, but the staff are very quick, so the waiting time is short, and their service attitude is excellent. All in all, everything met my expectations, and it offers great value for money. I highly recommend it for a vacation stay!

The rooms have a lovely tropical vibe, and the breakfast is fantastic. Haidee and Marlon at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful.

The only downside was that the room curtains didn't provide very good privacy; even when closed, there were large gaps that allowed people to see into the room. Since we were on the ground floor, this was a bit of a privacy concern for us. The hotel arranged a boat tour for us for 3500P, but the captain kept rushing us, which wasn't a great experience. We only saw one dolphin before he wanted to move on to the next stop! I’d recommend booking a boat tour externally.

GGFYMFCDefinitely one of the better hotel/resorts that I've encountered during my travels in the Philippines. The hotel itself is located in a beautifully secluded lot that's surrounded by vegetation & conveniently placed a stones throw away from the main commercial centre which hosts a supermarket & even a DIY shop.
The rooms are very comfortable, clean & all come with a balcony & modern AC as standard.
But the best part is the large pool which lights up at night & is by the restaurant which serves good coffee, pizza & an excellent Thai curry.
If you have transport then i would highly recommend staying here.

My air conditioning wasn't cooling properly, and communication with the front desk was a bit difficult. After contacting the Trip platform customer service, they acted quickly and immediately arranged for a new room for me. I'm very grateful for their help.

Cons:
-Misleading Information and must be updated! The ad shows that the hotel has all the amenities that we looked for are wifi/wired internet in the rooms, swimming pool and few steps from the beach but it's not. We checked in late at night and the location is far from the beach, wifi is available at their Gazebo or lobby area with mosquitos.
-There are 2 different hotel branches, one is few steps from Alona beach proper with wifi in the rooms but no pool and the other one is their 2nd newer branch which is 1 tuktuk ride away from Alona beach proper no wifi in the rooms, wired internet isn't working but with swimming pool.
-I was upfront to the hotelier that I travel for work and measure and need all those amenities that were stated on the website, but the remedy they kept insisting is to move us to their other branch which is older, no pool with wifi in the room as they do not have the wifi nor wired internet in their room at their 2nd hotel and that we can just go their in the morning to use their pool 🤣
-No one from the hotel apologize, not even a Manager's shadow reachout
-Trip.com said sorry and provide compensation but it's not enough for the lost working hours due to the mosquito bites I had while I tried to work at the lobby but was not able to tolerate it as I am afraid of having Dengue, did not get anything from the hotel's management
-tricycle/tuktuk will cost you 100 pesos per way PRICEY
-we tried to walk to the beach as there is another route close to the 2nd hotel but the way is rocky and stairs were steep as it was meant for divers or island Hopper not the white strip that were posted on the website
-corkage fee so better to buy at the restaurant at the hotel or eat outside

GGuest UserOur family trip was amazing .. very accomodating and friendly staff. Clean and tidy rooms. But 1 thing more, they should have intercom phones in the room so if the guest has any concerns or requests no need to go outside and go to the reception.
