"Stayed at Central Park Reef Resort in Subic and had a bit of a mixed experience overall. Pros: The hotel itself is very clean and modern, which immediately stands out. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, definitely a plus if you’re staying with family. Both pools are great in different ways — the ground floor pool has a really nice shaded setup with a relaxed atmosphere, while the rooftop pool is perfect for sunset views overlooking the beach. The American diner-themed restaurant is also a nice touch aesthetically. Cons: Food was unfortunately a letdown. The pizza tasted like something straight out of the freezer, squid rings were tough and had a fishy taste, and breakfast was pretty average at best — especially considering the price point. What really stood out (in a bad way) were the extra charges. Being asked to pay ₱100 for an extra pillow and ₱50 for ice felt excessive. I even requested a simple room setup for our 7th anniversary, and they quoted ₱5000, which was honestly surprising. It feels like they try to charge for every little thing. Overall: Great facilities and comfortable stay, but the food quality and constant add-on charges take away from the experience. Good place to relax, just don’t expect much from dining or flexibility with requests."

"The staff are so friendly and the place are clean. The shower is a bit cold. But overall service and place is awesome. We appreciate that they allow us to have early checkin around 11am instead of the 2pm in the guidelines. Thank you. We will be coming back soon. The only inconvenience that we have is that we thought we have free breakfast because it is shown in the confirmation email from Trip.com but the confirmation that the villa got is only for the room and no breakfast included."

"Among the hotels nearby... it's probably the best... but it's a pity. Ants in the room and swimming pool. There were a lot of bugs like... I was bitten by unknown bugs in about 10 places all over my body. The restaurant was okay, It was free on weekdays (there were no customers) so it was easy to use the swimming pool. Not long after the typhoon passed, the nearby beaches were dirty. I have no intention of revisiting. The photo and the actual product are very different, and it is not good for the price."

"All was great in this hotel except for the delay in check-in. But we do appreciate that they offered a late check-out in lieu of the delay. "Our experience with this beach resort is really far from what we were expecting. First of all, the staff there did not even show a single sign of hospitality. The moment we got there, we were standing for almost a minute looking for the person in charge, only to find them sitting at the table watching us with no expression and then just asked us the name on the booking, which I found rude and really not the right way of welcoming a guest. Second of all, we originally booked a family room with two double decks, but what was given to us was two double decks and one single bed. They could've informed us of the sudden change and we would surely understand, but no—we just knew it the moment we got inside the room. There are other things that were not informed to us, like the usage of the refrigerator. We were not informed that the refrigerator is for sharing. The ref was already full and they still wanted us to share it. They could've informed us in the first place so we would leave room. We paid 250 per night for ref usage, which I found outrageous. There are things I want to add that I did not like, like the rope they set up to put your wet clothes near where the table is placed, and it is not really ideal since clothes are dripping everywhere, especially on the table. The faucet is something they did not even give time to replace, and I found it disgusting. Every time I have to touch the faucet, I feel a greasy feeling and an unpleasant smell. Nevertheless, the price is quite cheap and affordable, and the beach is only a few steps away. I just hope they train their staff to be more hospitable and teach them proper manners, because even until the time we left the resort, no one showed up to say goodbye or thank us for our stay. We simply left as if nothing had happened."

"The hotel is quite new and has modern look and feel.  They have ample parking for guests and have reserved slots for Accor members. The room is clean and spacious and has modern furnitures and fixtures.  They have the basic amenities like smart tv, ref, separate toilet and bath, hair dryer, slippers, and shampoo and shower gel. I love their brewed coffee which I ordered from their cafeteria near the reception area and is reasonably priced. The hotel is just opposite the Harbor Point mall and nearby restaurants. What I like most are the warm and friendly staff who are always smiling and make you feel at home. However, since this hotel just opened and is not yet fully-operational, there are many rooms for improvement: 1. AC control installed in the room is not working so requested for a remote control.  Not sure if the battery is fully-charged but there is delayed reaction when I change the settings like temperature. 2. I requested for a room with queen sized bed and near the elevator since my wife is a PWD but these were ignored and we got a room with two single beds and quite far from the elevator.  Then requested for a room change but the room being assigned to us was at the ground floor and there was a strong smell of paint so we opted to stay at the room initially given to us.  Requested to just put the two beds together to form a single but bigger bed and waited for the hotel staff to arrive but we waited too long and finished our light dinner without seeing the hotel staff.  So just requested the hotel to cancel the request so we can rest already since we arrived past 8pm and we were already tired. 3. They gave a WhatsApp number to reach in case guests have requests since there are still no phones in the rooms.  Tried sending a message but no quick reply.  So just called the number and got an apology and feedback.  Maybe they should assign someone to monitor the messages so they can respond quickly to guests. 4.  We were having breakfast at our room when there was a brownout.  No back up generator so we were in dark for about 10-20 minutes.  Also no emergency lights in the room so we had to open the curtains to get natural light.  We were supposed to check out before 12noon but since there was no power, we requested for a late checkout which was granted.  Thank you. Hope the hotel can complete all unfinished work and level up soon. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful short stay."

"The pub part of the offer was outstanding, Magners on tap, real British pub atmosphere, best calamares I had in decades. Nice seats watching out on the bay. Could not be sny better in England. The rooms were rather soso, and I don’t mean the size or rudimentary furniture. There were small ants all over so I kept my suitcase closed. There was a loud fan in the room and a rattling a/c in the bathroom window. The shower fittings were adventurous and the water flow very low. And the rental requirements did not make me feel really welcome, read yourself to make your own opinion. I had a quick dip in the water in the morning and left a day early. In general, I would rather pay 10 bucks more and have a decent shower and a/c and no bugs in my room."

"Excellent value for money. 'Couple room' is basic and the little bit tatty around the edges, but that's why it's so cheap, I guess. The swimming pool is only big enough for a dip not an actual swim. Friendly helpful staff. A little distance from the main buzz of the beach, which means more trees, less karaoke and fewer piles of burning rubbish. If you get lost following Google maps, continue over the small wooden bridge towards Bali resort and follow the lane on the left."
