"What an incredible place! We’re staying at the Twin Lotus Resort & Spa (adults-only during this season) on Koh Lanta, and we couldn’t be happier. The location is fantastic: it’s right on Klong Dao Beach, a super long stretch of beautiful white sand. Even at low tide, it’s all soft sand—no rocks or coral to worry about. In the mornings, it’s pure bliss to walk for miles along the shoreline with the calm sea and peaceful atmosphere. Absolutely lovely. The resort itself is spectacular. Surrounded by tall palm trees and lush tropical gardens, it feels like a real oasis of calm. No kids around (strictly adults only), so you can truly breathe in the peace and tranquility—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The infinity pool is stunning, positioned right in front of the beach with comfy sun loungers and high-quality towels. You can spend the whole day switching between the pool, the sea, and a shady spot under the palms… heaven! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive—always smiling, super helpful, and the service is top-notch. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety and everything tastes delicious. In general, the food at the resort restaurants is really good, both in quality and presentation. Honestly, it’s rated as 4 stars, but in terms of experience, it outshines many 5-star places we’ve stayed at before. I have no idea why it doesn’t have 5 stars officially—it’s spotless, beautifully maintained, and the overall vibe is just perfect. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing spot on Koh Lanta, don’t hesitate—come to Twin Lotus Resort & Spa. You won’t regret it for a second. "The staff are courteous and helpful. As soon as I arrived, I noticed the mattress was sagging and uncomfortable, and they immediately offered to replace it with a new one. The location is excellent if you want to be close to shops, services, and the walking street. The hotel is a bit dated but has a beautiful sea view, though the beach isn't directly accessible from the hotel. The tide goes out, making it perfect for a lovely sunset stroll in the evening. The sheets were clean, but the pillows less so; they had a very strong smell, and I had to put a towel over them to cover it. We didn't use the pool because we rented a scooter and explored the island, which has beautiful, secluded beaches. However, we did notice that the pool area was very crowded (the sun loungers), but it was clean. We understand that the price was in line with the quality of the property. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Overall, it's a great hotel if you want to save some money and be close to amenities."

"Just got back from an incredible stay at Long Beach Chalet in Koh Lanta, and honestly, I’d totally recommend it! The location is perfect — right on the beach with stunning views and epic sunsets that made every evening special. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcomed. Room cleaning was always spot on and right on time, which was much appreciated. We had a blast even in the low season — there’s always something happening, like different shows every night, which kept things fun. The spa was a standout — so professional, super clean, and the massages on the beach were just wow. They also offer yoga classes if you're into that vibe. Their coffeeshop is a hidden gem — great coffee, tasty sandwiches, and an impressive selection of cheesecakes. And the breakfast options…. Delicious and plentiful, perfect way to start the day. All in all, a fantastic spot to chill and unwind. If you're heading to Koh Lanta, definitely consider this place. We had an awesome time!"

"Brilliant hotel with well-appointed rooms and good service. Shout out to K Woody at the front desk for the fantastic recommendations and assistance during our trip. The Reggae Bar offers stunning sunset views, a must try!! The pools are large, clean, and really fun to swim in. Rooms are clean and comfortable with great AC. Constructive feedback: breakfast was not the best. Firstly, the pastries were stale, and plate clearing was nonexistent, so all guests found themselves with piles of dirty plates that were not being cleaned. Additionally, not all drivers and porters were very friendly. Overall, the hotel met and exceeded expectations. I would love to visit again."

"Lanta Sands was disappointing. The welcome was peremptory, as if the person had done it a thousand times before. The service wasn’t awful but much less professional than other resorts we’d visited and the food pretty average though breakfast buffet decent. Beach very crowded. Our room looked out onto the shabby backs of buildings, so we decided to move on after one night instead of staying for the two extra days we’d paid for. Perhaps just not for us. There are better deals than this to be had on Koh Lanta."

"The reviews giving this place give stars as their favorite place are a bit overzealous. The views are definitely spectacular but the deficits aren't lacking. The pros do not justify this hotel; simply that ko lanta is a great destination. Keep in mind: there is no lotion nor conditioner here: curly hair, especially type 4, will suffer. The is no washcloth, phone in the rooms, nor hot tub. Wifi is guarded more than the nuclear football, rooms are certainly worn, there are no USB outlets. For couples: there are definitely young kids here who will never remember the trip, so you may hear crying during breakfast or when trying to get a massage. The maids are neglectful at replacing room amenities, the safe is broken and this place is not vegan friendly. They served me egg in the first dish ordered after recommending I simply let their restaurant know. I did not get the impression that they really understand how to handle dietary needs. The restaurant is awfully overpriced and the food is okay if you even trust the restaurant. Breakfast I stuck to fruit only... I had to go into town for food; Drunken Sailor tasted amazing. Staff friendliness could use improvement. They could at least try to hide their disdain for tourists better. This is expressed with body language and also verbally as we were told false information more than once, when greetings don't even preface with a hello and when staff prioritize chatting with each other rather than assisting a guest. When I asked for Sfiff's name, since nobody wears name badges nor introduces themselves.. to properly greet her. She acted like I was asking for her first born son! They conveniently don't mention that due to Ramadan, there's closed shops and you have to rent a bike to reach the nearest one. That would have saved an hour of time. If you opt in to the hotel taxi service, it will take 3 hours to reach the hotel at 3,000 baht one way. No food or water after a long flight and travel were provided, so please get it from the airport. Google ”Mun Lanta” taxi for 2200 baht taxi via Whatsapp, where they also provide food and water. Furthermore, the system to rent a motorbike is convoluted as you will incur late fees if not returned in time. Why not simply charge for the actual time instead of playing games with late fees and guesstimating return time? This hotel is far overpriced. Get something for half the price, rent a motorbike in town to access better restaurants and the same street. That's my STRONG recommendation."

"We stayed at rawi warin for 4 nights in one of the hillside rooms. The room was spacious with a small balcony. The bed in particular felt huge as it was 2 beds pushed together. As other reviews mention, the hillside rooms are about a 10 mins walk away from the main pool. Walking is quite pleasant though as you are surrounded by greenery. And there's a closer hillside pool that has a great view. The facilities were great esp. the main pool which was huge, chlorine free, and very empty past 6pm - we were often the only ones using it in the evening. Also enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables. My only piece of feedback is that the resort could be better lit at night - it was too dark walking down paths/stairs. Loved seeing lizards and monkeys around the resort. Didn't try the hotel food much - there are some good restaurants a short walk away. The stretch of beach attached to the resort was beautiful and good for swimming."

"Perfect! The grounds are well kept, rooms super clean. The rooms have a toaster, fridge and watercooker with coffee and tea. The location is ideal, a few minutes walk to the beach on one side and a few minutes walk to the main street with restaurants on the other side. Motorbikes can be rented. All is there for the perfect stay. On top of that owner Bung and his friend Susan are always available for a chat. Thanks for that 🙏 Wishing you guys the best always."

"If I could rate them an 11 out of 10, I would! The staffs were amazing, kind and at times go above to care for their guests. They provide free shuttle to/ from the airport in very comfortable and luxurious minivans, which saves you alot of money and hassle. They can even assist in arranging transportation to other parts of Krabi, this would come with a fee. If you have any dietary/ meal preference, their chefs will cater to your needs. Requests outside of breakfast will come at a fee. The grilled seafood here is fresh and super tasty. Frank, their GM, would greet you as you check in, during breakfast and even check out. You just don't get this kind of attention and care anymore. I'm already planning my next trip to Layana!"

"We had a wonderful time at the Alama Resort. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We loved the pool area the most; we spent several hours there every day, always found a spot, and the water was very clean. The food and drinks were also delicious. Our room was cleaned daily, the air conditioning worked well, and our balcony was very cozy, surrounded by greenery. The location was great, with the beach just a few minutes' walk away, where we watched the sunset every evening. We would always recommend it and would love to come back!"
