On the booking app, the location looked incredibly convenient—close to the Old City and not far from downtown, making it easy to visit the National Park. Arriving in the evening was a bit of a surprise, as there are no shops or local communities immediately next to the property. For those who are easily spooked, the deep quiet at night might feel a bit intimidating at first! However, we actually loved it because it was so incredibly peaceful. Having our own car made getting around very easy and hassle-free.
Heartwarming Service & Atmosphere
The highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality. We woke up late because we were exhausted from a long day of hiking. Assuming we had missed breakfast, I just brought my laptop out to sit and work in the dining area. A lovely staff member (an ”auntie”) noticed me and attentively asked if I wanted breakfast. Not wanting to be a bother, I said just coffee would be fine. Instead, she warmly insisted on bringing out the remaining food—bread, sausages, and fried eggs—along with hot coffee. She even asked how many people were in my room so she could prepare a portion for my friend as well! This kind of flexible, deeply caring management made us feel fully relaxed. Eating a warm meal in such a great atmosphere was wonderful.
Room & Facilities
The room is exceptionally spacious, and the bathroom is large as well. It comes equipped with a hairdryer and has plenty of shelf space to place our belongings. Most importantly, the room was completely free of mosquitoes and insects!
Minor Setbacks
While the latex pillows provided are of good quality, they are a bit too small. There is also an extra small pillow on the bed that isn't very practical for actual sleeping.
Summary
Boogan Sukhothai Village is a fantastic hidden gem if you are looking to escape the noise. Between the spacious rooms, the tranquil environment, and the incredibly attentive staff who go above and beyond, it was a deeply relaxing stay. Highly recommended, especially if you are traveling with a car!

GGuest UserPleasant stay at an old style wooden house, with a kind owner who will try to accommodate you. If you’re sensitive with the slightest sound then this is not suitable for you. Simple breakfast is provided every morning to start your day off. The place also provides free bicycle rental to roam around the Old City. Just a stone throw away from 7-eleven (with ATMs) and the daily night market surrounding the lake where you can have picnic dinner by it.
If you’re coming using Wintour Bus, it will drop you off less than a 100m from this stay (provided that your end destination is the Old City Sukhothai, as the Sukhothai Bus Terminal is located in the new city) & you can also buy tickets there to go to your next destination. There are also other bus companies’ kiosks / stores along the street that you can check them out.

RRadio59The hotel is a bit of a walk from Sukhothai Historical Park, but still within reasonable distance. Given that the sidewalks aren't in the best condition, taking a Grab might be more comfortable. This is a small, family-run hotel, which contributes to its very friendly atmosphere, and the staff speak English. They offer bike rentals, though at 180cm tall, I found them a bit small. Our room was clean, and the shower and toilet worked without any issues. While the hotel doesn't serve meals, there are several local eateries nearby. Plus, the gas station next door has a convenience store if you need to grab some simple food items.

DDavid WildemanToon was an excellent launching point for exploring the Sukhothai temples, as the guesthouse is located right in front of the main entrance to the historical park. In addition to this, both bike and golf cart rental options are available at adjacent shops. In terms of service, it's pretty good - the owner lives in one of the rooms and is usually on-site, though they do disappear now and then to live their life. Check-in and check-out both rely on trust; when the owner is out they make arrangements so check-in can be done without them. In terms of amenities, the room had a good amount of space and soap, toilet paper, and a desk were included, as well as two bottles of water (but these were not refreshed on subsequent days). The facility also offers a free toast (bread/jam available) and coffee/hot chocolate breakfast in the morning to get some cheap calories in before your day exploring. Rooms don't contain a fridge, but there is one located in the main area of the second floor (though this wasn't mentioned when checking in to my first floor room, I found it myself later). Shower pressure/heat was pretty good, and AC proved sufficient once it got going, despite the apparent age of the unit. The bed was firm, but not hard, and corridor noise was pretty low. Overall, I'd say Toon is EXCELLENT value for visiting Sukhothai's old town, and a much better spot to start from than anything in the new town unless you really think you're going to want to do much of anything in the late evening after a full day of exploring temples!

However, be prepared for a bit of a workout if you're assigned a room on the third floor, as there's no elevator. The location can feel a bit isolated, particularly if you don't have your own transportation. Despite these minor drawbacks, the friendly and helpful staff make the stay more pleasant. If you're just passing through and need a budget-friendly place to stay with parking, this hotel is a solid choice.

Nice territory with green trees, ponds, well designed.
Breakfast was tasty and variate.
Minuses: right near our room was farm with rosters, cocks. They were a lot and all of them started to shout from 5 am and did not stop. I could not sleep unfortunately. This place should be so quiet and comfortable but instead I felt myself at a poor village. Spoiled a lot everything this thing. Also the guests neighbours checked out very early - it was noise from them and staff carrying luggage - the staff should manage such things to be quite and smooth for other guests not to wake up because of checking out others.
The location is far from national park old Sukhotai - you have to go through bit nice village street with a lot of dogs: I was so scared. They provided bicycles but I was with small daughter and could not drive with her. It use motorbike - but this I also can’t drive. So I had to go 30 minutes till park twice a day plus to huge territory of the park all this is extremely exhausting plus I was very afraid of dogs. But if you use transport maybe it is not a problem.
Restaurant on the territory is expensive and not tasty dishes - better to eat outside
