(Restaurant review) This was our last meal before leaving Bhutan and we thoroughly enjoyed both the ambience and the food. They provide a traditional setting with low seating (if one is comfortable with it) and a wonderful display of traditional tools, utensils, old photographs and arts/crafts all around the farmhouse. The food was one of the best we had in Bhutan. The quality of the Ema Datsi, pumpkin soup, plum wine and spinach was evident from the number of times we helped ourselves to another serving! The space is cosy and warmed by an electric heater if you head there in the night. The family is very welcoming and took us on a tour of the house above to see the decor and displays from days of yore in this household of a prestigious member of the early government. It's located very close to the main bridge and Paro town making it easy to reach both on foot and by car.
