"A beautiful hotel in an amazing location with stunning views of the area. I was here on a group tour and the first night here was my birthday, my amazing guide arranged a cake for me which was so lovely. There is a super cute puppy that seems to live here too and he's full of beans. We returned for a few days at the end of the tour for Paro festival and I was dressed by one of the lovely ladies that works here, she even leant me her broach to close my jacket on the kira. All the staff be it in the bar or restaurant are so happy and smiling all the time. My rooms both times were stunning with lots of plug points not to future travellers get the plug for india. I loved the decor in the rooms especially the bhutaneese curtains in my first room. It's such an easy walk into town for a spot of shopping too. I totally would not hesitate to stay here again. Love and thanks to everyone here."

"Absolutely stunning location, beautiful lodge with a recently refurbished shower room which was huge. We absolutely loved it in our lodge. So peaceful, we were sad to leave. Evening buffet was good, specially prepared for the few tourists that were there. Breakfast ok, but it would have been lovely to have had more fresh fruit and curd available, we did ask and got some. Excellent Masala tea."

"I had a great room with awesome views from my glassed in sunporch at this lovely hotel. It is fairly small in a calm, quiet setting up on a hillside just outside Paro (near airport). It is very close to Paro and probably walkable if you don't mind a steep hill with no footpath. I took a lovely walk up the hill from the hotel which had little traffic, forest and views. The hotel was very clean, had the best hot shower I had while in Bhutan (including amenities such as a blow dryer). Bed was firm and comfy and though I saw no source of heat I had plenty of warm blankets & outside temps were cool but not cold. Good breakfast and dinner. Staff is lovely."

"We stayed at this hotel for two nights while in Paro. The location was great as you could easily walk into town for shopping and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean with a great nighttime view of Rinpung Dzong. The bed, like many in Bhutan, was very firm and we needed to ask for some additional blankets for extra padding. My biggest compliant about this hotel was the lack of breakfast options and the box breakfast that they made us the morning of our hike to Tigers Nest cost us something like $20 USD for a small sandwich and a boiled egg. If you stay here, I would recommend planning all your meals elsewhere. Also, bring earplugs, as there are a lot of stray dogs that bark nearby at night."
