"My first solo trip to India, Varanasi edition! After checking reviews on Google Maps, I was reassured by the owner Akash's offer to provide information via WhatsApp, so I decided to stay two nights at Trilok Residency. The day before my arrival, Akash messaged me to ask about my check-in time. I was traveling from Agra to Varanasi by sleeper train, arriving at 3:40 AM, which meant a long wait until the standard 12 PM check-in. However, thanks to Akash's generosity, he offered a complimentary early check-in from 6:30 AM, so I headed straight to the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and there was hot water for the shower. The water pressure was a bit low, but perfectly acceptable. They also provided several bottles of complimentary water, and Wi-Fi was available. Having tissues in the room was a small but much-appreciated detail. During my stay, Akash provided daily tourism information, and what I appreciated most was his advice on how to protect myself from scammers. There were many aggressive scammers at the Manikarnika Ghat cremation ground, but because he had forewarned me, I was able to sightsee without being tricked. Even at check-out, he messaged me to say I could have a complimentary late check-out until my flight, which I gratefully took advantage of, leaving about two hours later. Overall, it was a fantastic hotel. Whenever I talked to locals and told them where I was staying, they would always say, 'Oh, that's a good hotel!' It seems to be highly regarded by the locals as well. If you're feeling anxious about your first time in India, I highly recommend Trilok Residency!!! It will surely make for an excellent Varanasi trip! Highly recommended!!"

"I highly recommend staying at this hotel which is a great hotel. We ran into trouble as soon as we arrived at Baranashi. It was still before check-in time, but when I went to Hotel Bagla Atithi Banaras, the front desk staff contacted the manager. The manager rushed to me immediately and supported me as much as I could. The manager was worried about us during our stay and spoke to us. If I hadn't met the manager and staff of this hotel, my memories in Varanasi would have been sad. But thanks to them, it was a wonderful stay. This hotel is within walking distance of the most famous Dashashwamedh Ghat, located in the center of Varanasi. The location is also great. The hotel room, bathroom, bed, everything is perfect. The shower has plenty of warm water. If you are hungry, please go to the restaurant on the 4th floor. you can eat clean, warm and delicious food. All the restaurant staff are also very kind. "The owner of this inn is a person who is fluent in Japanese and can take very detailed consideration. １ It was a stay for only one night, but I didn't feel any inconvenience. There is no heating in the room, but it's not too cold to be troubled. There are restaurants and currency exchangers in the neighborhood that serve delicious meals, so I thought it was a convenient place. Overall good experience, but come at your checkin time, dont come early in the morning if your train is arriving at kashi at sunrise, you better make the adjustment with the caretaker for coming early."
