Siamo stati ospiti dell'hotel nel primo week end del mese di dicembre usufruendo di uno smartbox, che ci era stato regalato. L'albergo è semplice ed informale, ma dotato di tutti i confort e pulitissimo. Buona la colazione sia dolce che salata, caffè e cappuccino serviti al tavolo e non erogati tramite macchinette automatiche. Abbiamo provato anche il ristorante e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. L'hotel si trova a metà strada tra Gubbio e Assisi e trovandosi a 500 metri di altitudine permette di poter ammirare panorami suggestivi. Promosso a pieni voti.

I stayed a night in this hotel, except that I died cold because the heat was out. The morning afterwards, I arrived at breakfast at 10 and 4 minutes, so exactly after 4 minutes the time of breakfast was closed. Now, considering that there was a change in the legal time and that, in theory, we would all have sleeped a hour less, considering that we are in hotels not in prison and we expect to be treated gentlely, It was very unpleasant to see that breakfast was closed, the food was all over, but above all to hear the room manager almost “should scream” because it was late and had to come earlier. “Now you eat what is because I've served 100 people before you...no more at this time,” I quote. I recensed the problem at the reception but it had no kind of check-out (not that it was helpful to cover the problem, but it would be kind from the management).

Despite this, the hotel hides very beautiful and ancient parts (a wonderful reading room at the third floor, breakfast room, a common balcony with table and chairs, the outer face covered with hera) but as the name suggests, it needs much Fortune I am about the room. Good breakfast, not very good (including that it was paid separately). A friendly and very available staff, this is. Eventually beds or cuffs for small children for payment. Possibility to leave baggage after check-out. The location is certainly exceptional, almost in the centre, but it is also to be borne in mind that being close to the rooms and restaurants there will be a lot of noise at night and night. In the end, it was very comfortable to walk, but it was quite too expensive for the old and decrepit room they have turned us back (and they don't show any photos on the internet).

This is a beatiful and luxurious resort, situated near Perugia in Umbria, central Italy, surrounded by amazing views of the green hills and valleys that this area is famous for. The resort itself is amazing, really stunning, interesting, historic, spacious, a pleasure to stay at. Staff at front desk and pool were super, really helpful, also housekeeping. The big issue was the main restaurant, Rura, the food was very nice overall, but the service was practically useless, both at breakfast and dinner, and one of the reasons to book a Relais & Chateau is for the food experience - It wasn't so here. There was endless confusion over our half board status and what that meant we could or could not order without charge, they would take 30 minutes sometimes to even take our order, then bring us completely different things than ordered (which they did to many guests), often by the time we got food (or hot drinks) it was cold, courses would come out at different times so I would finish eating the first course before my wife even received it, breakfasts were appalling badly served, totally confusing, we would wait 30 minutes to get a pot of coffee, then two would arrive. It's all a great shame, as this is what R&C is supposed to be famous for, but the dining experience was completely ruined for us by the poor service and they need to address it, as we saw most guests faced with the same issues. I cannot actually recommend the resort right now, due to this issue, but if they can fix the restaurant service, then it would be an amazing overall place to stay.
