"What an amazing find. Right inside the park, run by a lovely hostess who helped arrange our arrival from the train station, a great tour of the park, and helped with any questions we had. The room was super clean, very comfortable, with modern touches like a projector screen and fully automated blinds and curtains. The highlight, though, were the delicious and varied meals. So many mushroom and bamboo dishes available. Excellent breakfast each morning with farm fresh eggs, steam cakes and noodles. I would highly highly recommend a stay here."

"Their house is located halfway up the mountain, very close by bus from the west gate. The bus stop at the entrance requires a short wait, but you can flag it down. Driving is recommended for more freedom. The rooms are very clean, and the owner and grandma's fried rice is especially delicious. We stayed in a room with a super large balcony and a fantastic view, surrounded by lush bamboo. This place is perfect for quiet tea drinking, meditation, and relaxation. If you can endure solitude and want to connect with nature, then this place is truly a great choice."

After it rained the day before, we went to the pavilion on the mountain the next day and it was a bit slippery when we walked down the stone stairs. "Service: I really have to complain about this. Don't listen to that auntie downstairs. I suggest booking on-site because they're different from others; once you book, it's non-refundable if you don't stay (it says free refunds within a few minutes, no refunds after that, and we only found this out later). The staff initially said it was refundable because of a location issue, but even after we went downstairs, it was still non-refundable. We contacted Ctrip multiple times, and they said the hotel owner told us to contact them. The owner then said the gist was no refund unless we stayed. The person who contacted us downstairs even suggested we eat at their restaurant. Otherwise, it was okay. Especially the front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic. Environment: The 199 package only covers the first floor, which has a lot of mosquitoes. I don't recommend using the 199 booking; the mosquitoes are plentiful and the environment is bad. I also suggest rooms on the 4th or 5th floors with enclosed windows. Rooms without enclosed windows also have a lot of mosquitoes. The 4th and 5th floors are a bit more expensive. I don't recommend the private hot spring rooms; the tub there wasn't clean, with a lot of limescale. Cleanliness: I didn't check the other cleanliness details when I went, but the private hot spring in the room was subpar. It was a bit disappointing. We originally went there for this, but later we didn't want it anymore. Facilities: There's free parking, but you might need to be a little careful because the slope is quite steep. Pay attention to your driving style and turning angles when going up and down the slope to avoid scraping the undercarriage. I scraped mine, and several metal bolts on the undercarriage were scraped off. One of those bolts damaged my oil pan, causing a slight oil leak. I won't comment on the other aspects since I didn't experience them. Please only book if you're sure you'll be staying. If you're unsure, I suggest not booking. No refunds! No refunds! No refunds! "Located within the scenic area, the environment is incredibly comfortable. Children can play on the slides, collect eggs, and dig for bamboo shoots in the backyard without even leaving the hotel. It's less than a 10-minute drive to see pandas up close! The hotel itself also has a billiards room, a mini gym/yoga room, a karaoke room, and a children's karaoke room – so thoughtful! Adults and children can play separately, allowing several families with kids to relax without worrying about the kids. Although it's still winter, the bamboo forest scenery is still stunning. You can sunbathe on the rooftop, watch the sunset, and enjoy tea or coffee. The rooms are cozy and clean, with children's slippers and toothbrushes. There's underfloor heating, so it's not cold in winter. The bedding is very comfortable, and the nights are very quiet – crucial for anyone with sleep problems! The hotel also has a restaurant where, in addition to breakfast, you can still enjoy delicious hot pot and Sichuan cuisine. Having stayed at many family-friendly hotels, this is arguably the best I've ever stayed at! The guesthouse owner was very thoughtful; we came before the ***** New Year, and they even gave us snacks the kids love when we left! We'll definitely come back sometime!"

"The room was clean and quiet. The food selection was also plentiful, catering to various tastes from young to old. It's not far from various attractions, and the facilities are complete. Crucially, many details were well-done. Disposable face towels and toilet seat covers were provided, which was convenient! "The room was exactly as pictured online, no difference whatsoever, and it was exceptionally spacious. The owners were incredibly welcoming and proactively introduced us to the scenic area's routes. The owner's cooking was generous in portion and delicious. Crucially, the hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient to get to the attractions, right in the heart of the scenic area. I booked this hotel based on a friend's recommendation, and it certainly didn't disappoint. There are two charging stations right outside the hotel, which was extremely convenient for us using electric vehicles, especially since it only costs 1.2 kilowatt-hours, very affordable. I'll definitely stay here again next time I travel to Shunan Bamboo Sea. Their food is also very fresh. Five stars! Highly recommended! [Strong]"

"The service was excellent, Check in and check out was smooth and quick. The guy who runs the place went over and beyond. Before we left Chengdu we added the phone number and connected with him on WeChat. He helped check if our train (We bought tickets for Yibin) passed through the nearer train station. He helped to organize a driver for us from Yibin to the hotel. For breakfast the served simple but yummy bamboo noodles. Cleanliness I give them 10/10. The hotel is well maintained, super clean, even under the beds (we moved out 2 beds together). The bed was too comfortable. The pillows were super great. Had a beautiful 2 nights of sleep. The room was spacious. Location is great. A little away from the main area but close enough to walk there. the museum bus station is a few meters away (3 mins walk) and the cable car is 1km away. I suggest walking there, its a beautiful walk surrounded b bamboo. The guy who runs the place helped us to map the route to the places we wanted to see. I would stay here again."

"A hotel located in a scenic area, yet its service and environment were surprisingly pleasantly surprising. New and clean were my first impressions of this hotel. It's a bit chilly this time of year, but the hotel's air conditioning worked very well, and the room warmed up quickly. The shower water temperature was just right, without any uneven temperatures. The room service was very attentive; they promptly addressed any issues and provided reasonable solutions, offering customized services to meet guests' needs. (For example, when I mentioned wanting sweet potatoes, the hotel receptionist thoughtfully reserved some for me from the buffet breakfast.)"

"The hotel is located at the end of the Emerald Corridor, a 3-minute walk next to the Guanhai Building, the new hotel, the facilities are super Samsung rooms, the bathrooms, baths, and toilets are isolated from each other, and they do not affect each other. The two 1.5 meters bed can sleep 4 people. In short, it is highly recommended. The only downside is that the proprietress is relatively stingy. After drinking two bottles of water in the room, you have to buy or drink tap water yourself (the proprietress said it was bamboo root water), and there is nothing wrong with it."
