Results 20 minutes after request: a barely cooked baguette that disappeared just as quickly, but good pastries all hot. "Stayed with a group of 31 people. Location is perfect lovely surroundings and ideal for walking into the centre. The Double room was clean and well maintained. Stayed for dinner on one night only. We should have stayed for more. Bar service on the patio and in the bar. lowest 5.5 ABV. Cava sold with ice buckets. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Weather was beautiful. Coach parking was close as there is one bay near to the front of hotel. A lot of staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful which made our stay special. Visited the Memorial to the Missing in the town ( get the gate code to be able to gain full access). We also visited the Chemin des Dames, Caverne du Dragon, Le Musee Memorial de L'Armistice at Compeigne. Would stay here again"

The chateau was originally built as a country residence for the aristocracy of the early 20th century, and the architecture still shows the features of the "transition" - the classical austerity of the Louis XVI style is intertwined with the light eclecticism of the Belle Époque. The hotel is located in the Chantilly forest, which creates a sense of a secluded reserve surrounded by Nature . Despite the proximity of Paris (only about 40 km), the hotel remains a quiet refuge in the forest - a feeling of being in a country castle rather than just a hotel. The hotel has 109 rooms and suites, the interiors of which are inspired by the bionic environment, the equestrian traditions of the region and the subtleties of Chantilly lace . Many rooms have a view of the forest, and many have balconies or terraces. Unfortunately, there is a highway nearby, and the noise sometimes reaches the hotel. This disrupts the peaceful atmosphere. The chateau has two restaurants: L'Opera, located in the former music salon, and Le Stradivarius, which occupies the former library. The latter is quite small, and when there are many guests, it can become noisy. The restaurants offer dishes made with local ingredients, such as game, cheese from Picardy, and, of course, the famous "à la Chantilly" cream. The cuisine is excellent, and I highly recommend it."

"We’ve stayed here a couple of times but won’t be returning until some improvements are made to the rooms and common areas. I don’t believe this hotel has any air conditioning (certainly not in the rooms we’ve stayed in) and even in May it was pretty uncomfortable. We were given a fan but it didn’t help a great deal. Our room was in pretty poor condition. I would have asked to change if we stayed more than one night. The toilet roll holder was broken, the toilet didn’t close, there was no shelf in the shower to put products on and it smelt of damp. Not acceptable. On a brighter note. We really enjoyed having drinks on the terrace and the meal was very decent. All the staff were excellent. It’s a shame the hotel itself feels unloved as it has the potential to be a really stunning property."
