Gorgeous small hotel with charming rooms, and lovely pool and delicious food. Wonderful service from Bertina and the team. We loved the tasting menu and the wines made by Tenuta Santo Pietro. Very tasteful decor in our room, Malvasia which had a small balcony and direct access to the pool and garden

We are so happy we chose Tenuta Santo Pietro for our four nights in Val d'Orcia. Everything about our stay was magical. Our room was clean, spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The inside common spaces were cozy. providing a great spot for an afternoon glass of wine or cappuccino. The outdoor living area had a beautiful view of Pienza, comfy seating and lots of space. Breakfast offered many choices but our favorites were the meat, cheese, fresh tomatoes and bread. We chose to eat all of our dinners there and were never disappointed. They offer 3 or 4 course tasting menus as well as a la carte. Everything is fresh, local and made on site. The pasta was some of the best we had in Italy! The tables are complimented with olive oil and balsamic vinegar from Tenuta Santo Pietro and a meal without their wines would be a mistake indeed! No review would be complete without a shout out to Bertina and the entire team. They work tirelessly to make your stay special in every way, always with a smile and genuine caring. A special thanks to Bertina for the blankets in the living room on those chilly afternoons! The world is a great big place and we rarely return to the same spot twice but I know we will return to Tenuta Santo Pietro.

Bertina, the manager, is perhaps the sweetest, most hospitable person ever. The property is beautiful, the food is delightful, the prices are decent, and the rooms are large and clean. All the rest of the staff, too, are extremely attentive---when the staff was all sharing a meal together, they almost tripped over each other to be the first to help us get coffee. Above and beyond.

The views were spectacular. The staff was wonderful. The manager - sadly I don’t remember her name, starts with a B - was great. She was friendly and accommodating. The food was great. They offer a tasting a menu, but we chose to order off the menu. Breakfast was a beautiful spread. The cons are that the room could have been a bit cleaner. The pillows were terrible. And, the place sits right on the road so the sound of cars and trucks was a bummer. But, overall, would highly recommend.

Your perfect stay in Tuscany! Great team (headed by Bertina) that takes care that you have an excellent stay, incredible food, cozy decor, perfect pillows and mattress. Strategically nestled between Montalcino and Montepulciano, and only 8 minutes away from Pienza by car. Looking forward to return!

We visited Tenuta Santo Pietro at the end of September 2023 and we had the most amazing time with our stay! Bertina, Teresa, Mickala, Gloria and Isabella all provided the best customer service during our stay. They made us feel like family and we truly enjoyed all the things while we were there. We were able to spend time at the pool one day and enjoyed wine, snacks and a lot of Tuscan sun. Dinner that evening was amazing as we had an absolutely delicious Florentine Steak. We did venture out during the day, but, when we came back, there was always someone there to greet us and we enjoyed some of their wine on the back patio! We loved hanging out with the staff and meeting new people while on our visit! We would love to come back and stay at Tenuta Santo Pietro again - this place was absolutely TOP NOTCH! ❤~Nicole & Jon

Stayed 4 nights here after driving from Florence. The building (parts of it dating back to the Middle Ages!) is in a beautiful setting, amid gardens and vineyards. There’s a pool with a stunning view across to Pienza, which is approx a 5-10 minute drive away. Montepulciano is about 15 minute drive in the other direction. We were greeted by Bertina, who is absolutely the star of the show here. She makes you feel welcome from the start and throughout was always happy to chat or answer any questions. Our room was lovely. Split over 2 floors with the bedroom above, up some stone steps and a skylight above. In the mornings we awoke to the cockerels, which was lovely. There was no fridge or coffee making facilities, but at any time the staff were happy make a hot drink. Breakfast was good and varied but sometimes ruined by other guests who thought it acceptable to hoover up the food at the buffet with little regard for anyone else. This is a small hotel so some consideration for other guests and the staff would go a long way. We ate dinner there a number of times and it was lovely. The pasta was homemade and delicious and the wine (which they produce themselves from their own vineyard) was superb. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to stay in this area and I hope to be back soon.

This was the highlight of our two week visit to Tuscany. Location was perfect. Their wine is outstanding. We enjoyed a cooking class during one morning with their Chef...it was great! The staff, the manager Bertina and owner Guiseppi were all accommodating and made us feel at "home". We also enjoyed the food which was all local and delicious. It is a place we will definitely return to on our next visit. It is a gem...
