I stayed in this hotel only one night, together with my family. Careful and available staff, the environment is clean and well maintained. We stayed in a four-room, wide and comfortable room. The occasion of my stay was not for tourist reasons, but the location is good for those who wanted to visit the surroundings of Florence (a close to the medic Villa of Poggio in Caiano) and the Florentine hills.

Hotel Columbia Wellness & Spa is conveniently located in the popular Near Center area. The property features a wide range of facilities to make your stay a pleasant experience. Facilities like 24-hour front desk, express check-in/check-out, luggage storage, valet parking, room service are readily available for you to enjoy. Some of the well-appointed guestrooms feature whirlpool bathtub, air conditioning, heating, desk, mini bar. Take a break from a long day and make use of hot tub, sauna, spa, massage, steamroom. A welcoming atmosphere and excellent service are what you can expect during your stay at Hotel Columbia Wellness & Spa.

Greatly and centrally located near lots of places to eat, have a drink and visit. Parking outside wasn’t too complicated, just find a spot and pay. When we got there we only found one employee who couldn’t speak English and was a bit difficult to check in but regardless he was very nice, helpful and serviceable. He also helped us with figuring out how the parking worked. Room and bathroom were nice and spacious though the mini fridge didn’t really seemed to work. Other than that I pile stay again if I were in the area.

This is a lovely hotel and we would highly recommend it. It is in a great location with plentiful restaurants and bars in the area if you wished to explore. We are a family of four with two adult sons and we booked two Deluxe Premium rooms which were really spacious and clean. One room had a balcony and overlooked the swimming pool and surrounding area - postcard setting with a fantastic view. We were part of a large group from Ireland with Topflight who were on the Andrea Bocelli Experience and this hotel ticked all of the boxes for us. We had a lovely drinks reception and 'welcoming meal' on our first evening and a farewell dinner' on the last - all of which was delicious and the service was great. We also 'ate in' one evening and enjoyed the meal. The communal areas in this hotel are really comfortable and you would find it easy to find a quiet, comfortable spot to read a book and relax. There is also a nicely furnished outdoor terrace at the front of the hotel which was ideal for chilling out and socialising. Even though we were part of a large group we felt valued as customers and, by the end of the week, it felt like the staff were part of the group! This was particularly evident on our last night as they volunteered to take group photos and they entered into the fun of the occasion. They took great pride in their work and they were visibly excited when this was acknowledged. Many thanks to Giuseppe who multi-tasked with the groups, to Roberto who single-handedly manned the bar with super efficiency, to Marta, Sara and Rosa who served breakfast and dinner with a smile and had great patience with a diverse group, to all reception staff who were professional and friendly (Fabio was charming) and to the housekeeping staff who ensured that our rooms were spotlessly clean. Worth mentioning that we organised a private tour to Florence for our family. We liaised with Alessia at reception by email prior to the trip and we found her most helpful and obliging when we enquired if the hotel could organise a private return transfer. We were delighted when she confirmed that it was possible and the driver that they employ (another Roberto) was professional, friendly, punctual and safe. We can highly recommend him. Very spacious , excellent welcome and immediately available. Good and abundant breakfast. Excellent location, literally near the motorway, a comfortable street!! . A quite spacious room. The full comfort bathroom. The water of the shower was not very stable, it continued to change the temperature continuously, from warm to cold and cold to warm, you were more disputed with water than doing the shower.

A good location with easy walking to the centre, bars and restaurants. The superior rooms were very good with no outside noise and a lovely shower. The breakfast was three star but very well presented and very tasty. The star of the show was Raphael on reception. A former pilot in the military, Raphael flew the flag for Hotel Boston. He was efficient, funny and professional - and made our hotel experience even more enjoyable.

I spent two nights at the Tuscany Inn in October 2023 because I wanted to see if it was suitable for hosting 50-60 relatives between the December holidays. Yes, it is very suitable. This hotel is really recommendable: modern, very clean, spacious rooms, excellent conference rooms with IT infrastructure, delicious Tuscan cuisine, right next to the motorway exit, 400m from the train station, parking on the roof terrace, free access to the fitness centre, a few minutes walk from the centre. It is rounded off by extremely friendly and competent staff. Bright, large quiet rooms, even on the side of the Lucca - Firenze railway line as it only runs during the day. Very clean room. Gastronomy : 9 out of 10 points, an excellent rating for a hotel. Last but not least, the prices are right.

We have been in charge of this hotel during a stay in Prato and having commitments in the area. Typical structure for short stops, not very cheap from my point of view, as the structure is quite date, the mail of our room to close it was needed to push the rooms with force, cleaning the rooms at the best. Positive notes: Receptionist, large free parking, good mattress, good air conditioning in the room, even though objectively a little noise winds, but with fatigue you overcome noise. Notes negative; breakfast at 5 euros seems to me too much, when other reception facilities include it in the cost of the room, the close shower door (at least in our room), if a customer is ”often” doubt that he can enter, And as I said before, it cleans a little superficial. A hotel without praise and no fame.

The hotel is clean , but tired. I did not appreciate being told to sit a specific table for breakfast even when there were clearly several empty, was totally snubbed when asking for hot water for tea. Male concierge added 30% onto the price of bus tickets , next days' tickets were as priced on the actual ticket. Makes them untrustworthy. Poor breakfasts . And service is bad. Itallians get treated well and english are NOT . They don't know how to treat paying guests with equal respect . Its obvious they are blatantly discriminate.

I agree with other reviews that the hotel is a bit faded compared to modern hotels but we found this part of its charm. Bathroom spacious and very clean and we didn’t have a problem with the beds. Very central but quiet. Food could have been more exciting but not unpleasant and my friend missed the meat courses and had double pasta most evenings which appeared without any fuss. I always had cheese free options which can be a bit of an ask in Italy but they didn’t bat an eyelid. The staff were very helpful and Elvis and his counterpart always on hand to assist. Our flight home was delayed by 36 hours but this is where the hotel came up trumps. The rest of our tour group got late evening flights on same day of original departure but we decided to take the BA offer of the next evening. We remained in our room, no chucking us out early on the day of departure (had the room until 5pm) and didn’t overcharge us for the extra day B&B. Think we remained on the group rate for our tour. Arranged a taxi transfer for us which was on the same bill. Handy for our claim back from BA. I’d recommend this hotel for convenient location and friendliness.
