"When you first arrived at the hotel and looked for a parking lot, you discovered that parking costs fifty dollars a day. For a househusband or a couple traveling together, you feel that these fifty dollars are not worth it because it is not close enough to the hotel. Then you hurriedly found the front desk, but they couldn't find your reservation because the three hotels were combined. You need to take a 1km/h train to reach your front desk. Then after a long wait, a voice of aloha called your attention back. After your soft and hard offensive, the hotel finally agreed to your request to check out at 11 o'clock, and upgraded you to a seafront room. Sure enough, you were awakened by the noise of birds the next day, and the running and crying of children made you feel that you were not on vacation. Okay, I can't make it up anymore. It's a good hotel."

"Easy check-in and check-out!
Excellent location! The sunset in front of the hotel is beautiful! Shopping is also convenient, so you can go for a walk and buy breakfast when you wake up in the morning! You can enter the pool until 11pm!
The jacuzzi by the pool is warm until about 9pm, so it's great to get a drink at the bar and relax in the jacuzzi!"

"The room was big enough for a group of 5 people and equipped with all the kitchen stuff needed for us to prepare quick meals after long days. Ocean Club was nice. I loved the gym right in front of the ocean, which made me feel like running on heaven.
There were also beach gears and collapsible chairs, but we knew them stored in storage outside the door on the checkout. Beach towels are provided to guests at the office.
There was no housekeeping during my stay of 3 nights. I had to vacuum by myself. 2 cocktoaches came inside the room on the first night, and their dried parts were founded beneath the sofa, but we took care of them. It was okay.
Except some minors. I enjoyed staying at Hali'i Kai.staffI met were all kind and sweet. Thanks. I would stay here again if I come visit Bigisland."

Located on the beautiful Waikoloa Beach Course, 1st fairway and green with the Petroglyph Trail and Mauna Kea as the backdrop, the second floor unit has two bedrooms with king size beds and options for separate twin beds, an open lanai and generous living space for your vacation pleasure. The high ceilings and doorways give an extra spacious feel. A fully equipped kitchen and laundry machines in the condo make it feel like home. A reserved parking space in shaded carport is right in front of the building. The infinity pool, jacuzzi and BBQ area make for great day and evening outdoor fun.
A quick walk to the Kings Shops and the Queens Marketplace provide lots of shopping and restaurants including Hawaiian entertainment on the outdoor stages. Either way you will have a blast driving along Highway 250. Take a drive up to Waimea and then cut over highway 250 to Hawi. You are above the clouds looking down on the Pacific. Bring a sweater because the altitude makes it a totally different experience from what you would expect in Hawaii. Think Switzerland with sandy beaches and volcanic rock!
Have an extra day or two? You can not miss the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park! If you can swing it, stay a night down at the Volcano House lodge, overlooking the crater! The place is so awesome that you really cannot cover it in a day if you want to go for hikes in the park. On the way home you will want to stop at the waterfalls along the way. Or South Point. Or the black sand beaches. The views are spectacular the whole way!
Kolea is located between the Marriott Waikoloa Beach Hotel and the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel, and near the Kings Shops, and newly opened Queens Shops. Fine dining, and shopping abounds. Free entertainment and family activities, such as ukulele contests and hula lessons, are an almost daily feature at the Kings shops: be sure to pick up a calendar upon arrival. Luxurious ground floor "no stair steps" villa with private lanai, large lawn area and wide open views of the golf course. Granite slab counters in the large, well-equipped kitchen. Living and dining areas have hardwood floors. Kitchen, entry and baths have tile floors. New entertainment center with a 55" 4K TV and many different board games. New sectional sofa and new mattresses in both bedrooms. We stock supplies for your whole stay, not just tiny amounts for the first few days. The lanai has dining for 6 plus a Viking grill and sink in the outdoor kitchen. The garage holds sand chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels, boogie boards, coolers, wagon, two Trek bicycles and two sets of golf clubs. Discounted green fees of $95 for 18 holes at the Beach 9, Lakes 9 and Kings 9 Courses just a short drive from the unit. Club rentals are $50 at the Pro Shop. It is a 15 minute walk to the pro shop, Mauna Grill & Bar restaurant and driving range. Only a 5 minute walk to all kinds of amenities including Starbucks, groceries, shopping, restaurants, farmer's market, movie theater and live entertainment. Luaus at the Hilton and Marriott with traditional foods, music and dances. From the hotels and A-Bay beach, it is a short walk back to your Hawaii Home with lush grounds that are extremely quiet and peaceful. Located at the end of the complex, but only a one minute walk to the delightful tropical lagoon pool and hot tub for a relaxing swim or catching up on that book you have been wanting to read and the fully equipped workout room. Or drive 10 minutes to the best white sand beaches on the island, Hapuna and Mauna Kea. Paradise found!
