We knew, that we would get, what we paid for, so we were prepared to compensate for the lack of necessities. We brought our own kettle, coffee grinder, and pot, and a few other useful kitchen appliances. Bought a frying pan and a sharp knife, and was now prepared to make our own food for our 2 weeks stay. WHEN the stove was working. Every other time the HFI relay was cutting off power, when the stove was turned on, we had to be very ingenious finding solutions to make it work. We tried to ask for a repair but were told that the problem was moist. But no. It was clearly at bad connection. The beds could be better, but they were ok. It would have been nice, if they were the same height, but again……….. we found a solution. The terrace was a reel gem, and we used it fare more than the room. The pool on the roof is nice and not crowded, and the view is fantastic. The location in the middle of the old town is priceless. Yes, the hotel is old, and not very well maintained, but the walls were newly painted. The bathroom was clean. The water hot and with enough pressure. Our conclusion must be that the only (and very) annoying experience was the loud couple next door coming home between 2 and 5 every night, yelling, screaming, banging doors and furniture for an hour or more. Luckily it happened only for the last 4 nights. We will definitely return.

It’s located in a busy street with the locals staying up until 1am playing music and genuinely being loud so i didn’t sleep much. Room are hot. If you leave the patio door open you will get bit. Termite infestation around the patio doors and on the balcony

Building dated, accommodation clean, functional, lovely pool amenity. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Very central location walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, shops. Air con would be nice, fan can be rented at Reception

We enjoyed our stay a lot, very good value for money. We got everything we expected and more. It would help to have air conditioning in the room (even paid extra) because we had to keep the terrace door open at night and sometimes it was still too hot to fall sleep or occasionally a little too loud (because of other guests or sounds coming from the outside, e.g. loud and drunk egocentric English tourists coming back to their hotels - unfortunately there's not much you can do about it regardless of where you stay).

The location of the hotel is really nice, everything we needed was nearby. The location has a busstation, a lot of restaurant, haven, shops etc. really nearby. Also the working staff was really nice and the room was cleaned everyday and we got new clean towels. We didn’t have a airco in our room, but it worked out when we openend the windows in the evening. The room looked a bit old but it was fine.
