No. 2 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Putian"The hotel staff weren't very familiar with local transportation or attractions. We were tourists staying near the high-speed rail station, and when we asked about local sights, they mostly couldn't give clear answers and just told us to search online. When we asked about good places to eat nearby, they suggested ordering takeout. Honestly, it made for a rather unfriendly experience for tourists.
The hotel room itself was decent. With the window open, you could occasionally hear the high-speed train passing by. The toilet and shower were separate, but the downside was that they shared a door. So, if the toilet door was in use, the shower had no door, which was quite inconvenient. The sink was located outside, right next to the bed closest to the door, so if you turned the water on too strong, it was easy to splash water onto the bed.
When we ordered takeout, there was a delivery robot in the lobby, and the delivery driver asked the robot to help deliver the food. However, the staff said they didn't know how to use it, and in the end, guests had to go downstairs to pick up their own meals. After two days at the hotel, my overall impression was that the hotel staff hadn't been properly trained before starting their jobs. They seemed clueless about most things, almost as if they were just temporary fill-ins.
The hotel is conveniently located about a ten-minute walk from the high-speed rail station, and there's a bus terminal nearby, making it easy to get around. There aren't many dining options in the immediate vicinity; you'd need to take a taxi to find larger malls and restaurants. From the nearby bus terminal, you can directly catch a bus to Meizhou Island for an independent trip, which is very convenient.
The breakfast buffet had a limited selection, but it was enough to fill you up. The hotel room was quite spacious. Overall, the experience was still acceptable."

"I stayed at E-Sun Hotel Putian for a business trip and had a perfect experience. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. The room was quiet and comfortable, suitable for both work and rest, and the facilities were new and complete. The service was attentive, the front desk responded quickly, and the free parking was a great relief. Overall, it was clean and hygienic, making it the top choice for business accommodation in Putian!"

No. 2 of Scenic Hotels in Putian"This hotel has a beautiful lobby, I absolutely loved it. The design is very unique, with a strong Chinese influence, but it's not old-fashioned – it has a great vibe. The facilities are top-notch; I was very impressed on my first day. The front desk service was excellent, very accommodating for our large family. They answered all our questions thoroughly and carefully. The bellhops were also very proactive with our luggage. Throughout our stay, we often bothered the front desk staff with requests like receiving packages and food deliveries, and they were always prompt. Even when one of our deliveries was mistakenly taken by another guest, the hotel reacted very quickly and helped resolve the issue properly. Thumbs up, the service was thoughtful! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

No. 6 of Premium Hotels in Putian"I highly recommend the Hilton Putian Sanfang! The location is absolutely superb, right in the commercial and government hub. It's within walking distance of the Xinghua Mansion historical district, and there's direct bus access to the Meizhou Island ferry terminal, making getting around incredibly convenient. Upon check-in, I received a warm DoubleTree cookie, and the front desk kindly upgraded my room. The room was spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the Crabtree & Evelyn amenities were a nice touch.
The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, with some hidden Putian specialties. The fried wontons, oyster cakes, and noodle paste were authentic and flavorful, and the freshly squeezed juices and made-to-order seafood congee were fantastic. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a free indoor pool and fitness center. The staff were enthusiastic and professional, always ready to answer any questions. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is a perfect fit and offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Putian!"

No. 1 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Putian"Great location and nice room views. It's my first time seeing such a huge bed and duvet! The service was excellent, and they offer pick-up and drop-off at the pier. Breakfast was good. I even saw the sunrise from my hotel room. Staying here made my trip to Meizhou Island very easy and relaxing. Besides the cultural attractions, the scenery on Meizhou Island is stunning – truly no disappointments there, and the hotel was excellent too. For food, I highly recommend Jilin Hua Ping An Mazu Noodles; you won't regret it. Overall, a fantastic experience, highly recommended!

"This is one of the BEST hotel I've stayed so far. Firstly, the room is super clean, hotel staff is also very friendly, breakfast buffet is pretty good! The room we booked is also huge, there is definitely ample space for multiple people and luggages! Bed is comfortable as well, and shower pressure is strong. A little downside is its about 20mins from the main city. Also, laundry and dryer are available for free. I will fully recommend this place if you're here for a short trip!
Also, there is free car pick up and drop off service to Putian train station. You have to contact them a few days in advance. For international tourists, recommend that you use wechat and is able to type chinese for reserving the service :)"

They upgraded my room, sent a fruit platter, and provided turndown service. The facilities are high-tech and smart. I thoroughly checked the room, and it was very clean. Breakfast was also plentiful. This is the first time I've given a hotel a 5-star review! The service was incredibly thoughtful. Lainey Li from Shangri-La Putian provided exceptional service. The staff at check-in were friendly and the process was efficient. At check-out, they meticulously verified my information, showing professionalism and attentiveness throughout. My stay was excellent and I highly recommend it."

No. 7 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Putian"The hotel's facilities are a bit dated. The room's decor style is old, and the flooring is a bit worn and damaged. The lobby on the first floor has a nouveau riche vibe with a very strong, pervasive scent. The elevators, in particular, are too few and very slow; you have to wait a long time.
Cleanliness: The hygiene was standard.
Environment: The location is pretty good, with plenty of food options nearby.
Service: The service was very poor, especially at the front desk, where the staff seemed untrained. Breakfast was also quite disappointing; when tour groups were dining, there weren't enough seats, and food replenishment couldn't keep up. The hotel's prices also increased during the Chinese New Year. For this price, such service is quite unsatisfactory."
