Great hotel on the water about 1km from the marina. We had a couple of nights here on our way around the north east coast of Sicily and couldn't have asked for more from this hotel and its staff. Our suite was super comfortable and the facilities at the hotel exceeded expectations. If you're in this part of the world, Riposto is a great example of a Sicilian town not quite suffering from an excess of international tourists - a good place to stage a day visit to Taormina from and enjoy a more relaxed stay in the shadow of Etna.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Grounds were lovely and the location across from the sea was beautiful! The pool is amazing. The restaurant service and food were top notch! Antony was a special server who was engaging and friendly!!

Small Boutique hotel with exceptional staff and food. Beautiful pool with views of Mt. Etna and rooms very modern with high quality fi**ents such as tv in room mirror and high tech showers. In 2 months of traveling this Hotel was the standout experience for accommodation.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Santantonio Resort. The location was nice, the rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and meticulously cleaned but it was the staff at the hotel that really made our stay so enjoyable. Their smiling faces, their 'nothing is a problem' approach and their acceptance and coaching (at my request) due to my inferior efforts when speaking Italian made us feel so welcomed at all times. They genuinely cared that we were being served to our required standards and just knew when to approach us or leave us to our private conversation. And, to make contact after our departure just checking that we had arrived at our next destination safely and ultimately made it home was just so considerate of them. Their genuine concern stemmed from the fact that my wife had injured herself during our holiday and her mobility was extremely restricted. The injury occurred prior to our arrival at Santantonio Resort and we were using the resort as a base to allow my wife to commence he recovery.

we had a great holiday, the hotel is new small clean modern and really very well run. The owners run it and the staff are friendly and helpful, Andreo (owner) is always there and always goes out of his way to helpo. We had balcony sea view rooms and while there is a road in front it is great for people watching and chilling and watching the sunrise. Room is quiet and excellent.

Just back from a 14 day stay and we are already missing the tranquility and warmth of this small family-run hotel. The owners and wonderful team are always attentive to details, and no request is ever felt a bother. Special call-outs to Evelyne, Paola and Elena who looked after us most of the time and are an absolute joy. The front is literally 10-15m from the sea, so sitting to enjoy a meal or cocktail or watching the sunrise is complemented by the relaxing sound of the waves. The rear though is even more stunning with a mini lake-style pool in beautiful garden surrounds and overlooked by the majesty of an ever-smoking Etna! The catering is excellent with a menu that offers just the right balance and choice. The Chef uses only premium local produce to present fine-dining standard dishes. Normally we would never simply stay in a hotel to eat, but after a couple of days eating out and being underwhelmed we decided to eat in - as choice and quality was perfect. To cap it off the owner is very proud of the selection of granite offered, which are all made on-site. On a couple of occasions he brought me over a new sample to taste. In my experience, the best granite are found on the coast line between Messina and Catania, and SAR certainly maintains the expectation of a super granita. We did walk to the adjoining towns but didnt find them particularly beautiful so we preferred to jump on a train and easily visit Catania or Taormina along the coast. The owners son Andrea happily drove/picked us up from the station which is too far to walk. If you want 7-10 days of peace and tranquility, without sight-seeing, I cannot recommend SAR highly enough. Alternatively if you are driving and want a base for a long weekend, then again the resort hits the spot. Bravo!

The property and staff were outstanding. The location for someone with a car is actually quite good. It has centralized access to Siracusa, Catania, Messina, Taormina and all parts around the east coast of Sicily. It is a bit of a four mile bend of turns to get to the property from the Autostrada, but once you get there you are in front of the Mediterranean Sea.

we stayed in April 2023 with our two kids (aged 5 & 9) - the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were bright, spacious and airy and we had an amazing view of mount etna and the beach :) breakfast was lovely and we had a few lunches/dinners which were very nice. The swimming pool was a big hit with the kids - it looks very natural and again - wonderful views of mt etna. location wise - we walked to riposte for lunches/dinners (around 30 min walk) along the sea front, and the hotel staff were kind enough on a few occasions to pick us up/drop us off. lovely a**osphere, and we will definitely return!

What a fabulous stay! We spent 4 nights in this wonderful hotel (part 1 of a 2 part holiday). It was absolutely amazing. From the minute we arrived I felt very relaxed, the a**osphere just works. The service was brill and the we were made to feel welcome with the children. The pool is stunning and also lovely and peaceful. For our final evening, we decided to stay in and dine at the hotel restaurant. It was fabulous, the food, wine and service were all just perfect! And all of this with a view of splendid Mount Etna. Please visit, you will not regret it
