"Μέναμε εδώ μόνο 2 νύχτες (δεν είναι λυπηρό), στην εκδήλωση στην περιοχή. Υπέροχο θέρετρο με πράσινο, μακριά από σύγχυση, που αποτελείται από δεκάδες ανεξάρτητα διαμερίσματα, τα οποία έχουν προσεκτικά μεταφερθεί σε κάθε λεπτομέρεια, πολύ ευρύχωρο και άνετο. Υπήρχε η εξοπλισμένη γωνία μαγειρικής, με τα προϊόντα πρωινού, τον κλιματισμό και το ταξίδι με ένα μερικούς μήνες παιδιού, που μας πρόσφερε επίσης ένα άνετο κρεβάτι κατασκήνωσης."

"Disappointing cold and unwelcoming. On arrival I wondered what on earth I had done. Pulling up the run down streets, filled with rubbish, and the b and b had its shutters all shut- never saw the open. We went off and explored Taormina which was stunning and arrived back in the evening. The rooms are spacious and very clean but cold and unwelcoming. The old metal beds are rock hard and uncomfy. The TV tiny, and without the nice touch of other b and bs with streaming services available. The area had some nice bars and restaurants but wouldn’t recommend it as a place to stay, even though we could easily visit lots of areas from there- there are much nicer places to stay."

"This is a superb hotel beautifully appointed from the gated entrance, up the long drive to the welcome you receive. We had a room overlooking Etna in all it's snowy glory. What a sight to wake up to. And that was after a fabulous meal in their 1 star Michelin restaurant. From the amuse bouche to the teramasu, simply a delight."

"We stayed at Mar Dei Poeti for one night prior to moving on to Taormina. We had two rooms, one for our 2 daughters aged 23 & 19. Alberto was a wonderful host. We had complimentary drinks on arrival on the roof terrace. The terrace is a great space with wonderful views. Insta worthy. The rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable. The air con was necessary! The breakfast was delicious. Parking was on the street outside the venue. We didn't have a fully stocked minibar or bathrobes. Alberto sorted out a lovely local restaurant for us for the evening. The street outside is busy at night with people and joggers in the mornings. The seas edge is not accessible directly outside the venue nor is there a beach, unless you class a couple of metres of rocks as a beach. There is a small pedestrian jetty which the locals seemed to be using to get into the sea."

"We arrived on the day Cyclone Harry hit Sicily & after a traumatic drive from Catania airport in gale force winds & driving rain, we managed to find our way in the dark to Agri Galea. We were several hours late due to our flight having "technical difficulties" but the two lovely ladies that own the Agri had waited to greet us with wine & warm homemade biscuits. The restaurant was not open for dinner but they kindly ordered us pizzas to be delivered after showing us to our room. We were very grateful as going back out into the frightening weather to find a restaurant was not an option. Our room was spotlessly clean with a very comfy, large bed plus extra bedding if required. The heating was great & very efficient. The agri sits in the most beautiful lemon & orange groves with amazing views of Etna, covered in snow at the time of our visit. We were the only two guests but breakfast was laid out perfectly. Homemade pastries & jams, fresh bread, cheese, meat, fruit & yogurt. Fresh orange & lemon juice & eggs, bacon & coffee to order. Excellent. The swimming pool was lovely & well maintained even in January & when the sun did come out we were really tempted ☺️. We had an interesting week in Sicily and will always remember the Agri Galea & their lovely, well looked after cats with fondness. A terrible shame that the cyclone had done great damage to the coastal areas & we were very sorry for the local people & businesses that were struggling to carry on."

"We stayed at Donna Carmela for one night and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is set in a peaceful and quiet surrounding, which adds to its charm and makes it ideal for a relaxing short stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were courteous, attentive, and highly professional, making us feel genuinely welcome. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing everything we needed for a restful night. The only minor drawback was the proximity to the railway line, as trains passing by could occasionally be heard. However, this did not significantly affect our rest, and we still managed to sleep well through the night. Breakfast was enjoyable, offering a mix of buffet items alongside freshly prepared dishes from the menu. We tried the omelette and the poached eggs, both of which were excellent and clearly made with care. Despite the slight noise from nearby trains, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable thanks to the excellent service, quality food, and relaxing atmosphere. We would happily recommend Donna Carmela for a short and pleasant getaway."

"We have been in this apartment for 9 days, quite recent structure and nice small but beautiful apartments, things to improve are for those who want to eat and dine often in the apartment until there is 1 oven, there is no microwave, There is no freezer.. there are induction plane with 2 fires, refrigerator, and stove, beautiful pool with space to take the sun equipped with free parasol beds for everyone.. For those who choose breakfast included is a buffet there is a little of everything time from 8 to 10 advice to find everything go soon.. Mrs. Marcella is fantastic available at every request and kind We all in sum have been good ...we just have made a lunch in the apartment.. The rest out between lunch beaches and various pizza restaurants at night Parking outside the stall on the road is usually just in front if not in the surroundings.. "
