The room is very comfortable. Lying on the bed and watching the falling snow outside the window is a unique experience. The surrounding environment is good👍👍👍I will choose to stay here next time.

Hi. We have been to this hotel pre-pandemic and have given it great reviews. So we were very surprised to find what we did. When we arrived, we waited awhile to be greeted at the desk. Finally the employee working on paperwork at a nearby counter finally came over. Then there is the room. It was pretty awful. Grimy, damaged, stained, and just unpleasant. We had to wipe down the desk handles from the stickiness. We could not believe it. When asked if there were better rooms, the response was they are all the same. They did offer to move us, but what was the point. I never expect luxurious breakfasts at these places, but this one was unappetizing. They were out of items, items that should have been refrigerated, like cream cheese, were not, the pancake machine was out of operation and even the cover to the oatmeal was not connected and broken. I should note, the women working there were very pleasant.

After arriving at the airport, I called to ask for a pick-up. After about 40 minutes of calling, no one answered. The service staff at the hotel’s front desk and restaurant did not wear masks and were very upset. The air conditioner in the room was outdated, the sound was roaring, and the wind direction was directly facing the head of the bed.

Good hotel in a low price

Very speechless, usually less than 100 knives in the hotel, encountered the price of the American Golf final 160. I have lived in Quality inn before and I feel okay. I didn't expect the sheets and quilts in my room to have yellow stains. Then I will take a bath for one night without undressing and the next day. Unfortunately, the bathtub did not leave hot water for 10 minutes. Good wash basin wash face out. Then spit, go out and wait for Uber. The driver clicked the navigation and turned around 2 times and didn't find the hotel. Finally, the customer came to pick it up. He said that the navigation led to the back of the hotel. Fortunately, he found me with wisdom. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the front desk service is good, I saved my luggage, and I care that my Uber did not receive the cloud.

When I encountered a fire, I opened the door and stood in the corridor for a while. The staff ran around, but no one told me to evacuate. So I didn't have to go out. The fire kept going. I opened the curtains and looked out. The staff who had evacuated to the open space saw me and gestured to let me go outdoors, when the fire trucks came. They did not effectively organize, supervise, and check the evacuation of guests, but the fire was not serious. On the last day, the house keeping took us away from the cups with the toothbrushes. It should be obvious that it is not rubbish, because there are toothbrush and toothpaste inside, as well as dental floss and interdental brush. And, there was no problem with the release of the previous few days. strange. The attitude of the individual waiters at the front desk was cold. Others are acceptable.

Very comfortable and very clean, this hotel was newly renovated in 2021 The facilities are complete, the sanitation is very clean, and the environment is very convenient in the city center. The only thing is that the breakfast is not self-service, you need to order it yourself downstairs

After being unhappy at another chain location, I switched from my usual brand and joined Radisson Rewards for this booking, with a great rate. Arrived here from ROCHESTER International Airport by LYFT ride, not knowing how long I would be staying, or what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Located in a nice area, on busy Route 31, Monroe Ave , East of the city, but still close to all major attractions, like GeorgeEastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Park, Rochester Museum and Science Center, by car, also on city bus routes. My comfy accessible room is roomy and restful, with a King bed and roll-in shower, many safety bars in bathroom. There is a window unit for climate control , Microwave and fridge in my room, and a 40 inch flat screen TV that has a sharp picture with premium channels. Room and lobby WIFI works well., except with my Apple phone. Cozy family reading area with adult and children's books and a single computer/printer business center in lobby. I was happy to find a small coin operated laundromat and a tiny gym, with two machines. Amenities include a very good hot and cold breakfast served in lobby, with 24/7 refreshment and coffee/tea bar. Spunkmeyer cookies at desk, a small convenience store for essentials, including frozen entrees. Smoke free premises, however there is an outside seating area, with wooden Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for smokers. Four Electric car charging stations make this a great location for modern savvy travelers who care about the environment. Coffee-Tea stations in room and lobby were well stocked. The diverse cheerful and helpful staff keep all common areas very clean; all of them are very helpful and accommodating . I enjoyed conversing with International guest clientele in several languages, including Japanese tourists. With rewards member rates, its a great deal and price point. Ethnic restaurants and shopping nearby, including Pittsford Plaza and Eastview Mall . I recommend this hotel to all traveler friends in this area, and beyond, including my 50,000. travel chat buddies on Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, without hesitation. The Hilton Garden Inn is located within the Rochester University campus and only 5 minutes away from the wonderful and historic Mount Hope Cemetery. The hotel has a nicely decorated and welcoming lobby, with a restaurant on site that serves breakfast in the morning (my visit included the breakfast plan since I do not like going to look for breakfast in the morning). There were two comfortable double beds and a nice large bathroom in the room. Bed Linen and towels were clean and fluffy. The breakfast off the menu was good. I did not use the buffet but it did not appear to have a large variety. The hotel is a good jump off point to explore the Erie Canal, the fall colours of the Finger Lake District or just to walk along the Genesee River waterfront trail (which is lovely for walking and riding). So now for my issue with the housekeeping policy (not the housekeepers I would like to add). And yes, I am going to get political here! We were told upon arrival that because of Covid the rooms would be cleaned on the fifth day of stay or if we request it by calling before 8am the day we wanted to have the room cleaned. OK, policy understood! Some people can go for days without needing the room cleaned, I am not one of those people. One of the things I like most about staying in hotels is having daily housekeeping and arriving back in the room with the bed made and fresh towels if I leave them in the bath tub (which I do not do everyday). So twice we called, before 8 am to make the appointment. The phone rang for a long time, eventually we spoke to the front desk and the person took the room number and confirmed the request. Twice the room housekeepers never came and the room was never cleaned. What the hotel and the Hilton chain, as a whole, will not freely admit is that they have turned housekeeping into a ”gig” economy. The housekeepers are suppose to wait each day for a call. If they get a call, they work, if they not, no work. No work, no pay. So, to the surprise of no one, those mostly women of color were smart enough to get a regular and better paying job else, with guaranteed hours. That has left a smaller pool of available housekeepers. The hotel chain is making excessive profits on the backs of the lowest paying people in the hotel business. In addition, they do not tell you when you book that the room rate does not include housekeeping (so ask before booking), they do not amend the rates because they no longer clean the rooms. Same rates less service! There is simply something wrong with that business model that I cannot move on from as a traveler. In the future, I will be vetting the house keeping policy for all hotels before book.

Hotel service is very good, there is an open kitchen utensils in the suite, you can simply cook, the toaster dishwasher microwave refrigerator electric stove is quite complete, the gym downstairs washing machine is fully equipped, free for breakfast and dinner on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, free every morning.
